I wonder if Sunrise played a part in Netflix pulling the plug. No way they had themselves a moment of clarity and did it themselves when they've renewed much worse series.

I mean Alita and Speed Racer were good.
Alita needed work on the pacing, but god the production value was good, I just wished it was tonally darker. Speed Racer's cgi aged a little, but I appreciate how clever some of the composition from the movie, even if it feels too busy. But Bebop should have had a more grounded production, high production sets, but cinematography and action like a normal live action film. Trying to make it feel more "Anime" was a mistake especially since the original show took inspiration from a lot of live action.

Also, the creators clearly didn't know who to target to with the series because they kept emphasizing this was a Japanese property, when in reality Japan didn't give a rat's ass about Bebop, it's a tonally deaf move that they replaced the English text in the Intro to Japanese.

I get cowbow beepbop confused with three-guns, should I watch this live action caper?

I'm curious what the other actors have to say

I feel bad for her. Her typing reminds me of early 2010 tumblr fujoshi's, I would buy it if she really loved the show.
I mean it's clear that based on performances, she and Jet's actors were the only ones who seemed like they actually liked the anime (but it's good for both of them, hope they get better roles)
