Some staffer in the Biden admin called Joe out, but Spotify ultimately didn't do anything about him. That's in addition to a lot of pressure from artists pulling their stuff off of the platform and wider "public" (twitter) outcries to "deplatform" the most popular podcaster in the world. They didn't do it, and what they ultimately did was create some guidelines and slap some warning labels (that people will ignore) onto his podcast. It's like when Trump was pooh-poohing Nike's dumb ad campaign with Kappernick or Starbucks and the Holiday Cups: government didn't really move the needle on what those businesses did.
It's true that New Zealand wanted Null to take the video down. It can also be true that Visa, Mastercard, and other credit entities don't like clearing credit transactions for people that host manifestos or videos of murder. It isn't quite illegal, but neither is selling guns (which processors have also stopped providing services for).
Other figureheads like Moot were more pliant and supple in removing questionable content, and had a degree of plausible deniability given the nature of their platforms. The short of it is, comparing a guy knowingly taking actions that push him into reliance on crypto is a far cry from suggesting formal government entities sanctioning him - much less that the freezing of criminal assets by law enforcement is somehow tantamount to a Reichstagsbrand.
Just as the buildup to the ukrainian civil war 2: electric boogaloo dates back decades, just as American partisanship/simmering tensions trace back at minimum half a century - the canadian trucker-rebellion reflects a broader rural-urban divide and disparagement in parliamentary represenation between the provinces (particularly the middle provinces) that dates back for decades-at-minimum. The sky isn't falling so much as the sun is rising and setting as it always does.

There's a twitch channel that's been relaying multiple live streams of the Canadian Trucker Occupation. It's been 2 weeks of basically a drunken block party under the guise of freedom and not all that exciting once you've seen your 30th half drunk dudebro ramble on about how they're oppressed and want to hang Trudeau with a noose while essentially having free reign to speak out against the government and do whatever they want.
For the first couple weeks, chat was nothing but people wanking every time they heard a truck horn honk like it was a Pavlovian sexual response. The majority of it was people chanting "honk" most of the time. But as it's dragged on, it's become a gathering of US based Libertarians, Anarcho Capitalists and Neo Cons using the platform to say Lets Go Brandon and giggle about it.
But lately, it really goes off the rails and talk of murdering elected officials is quite common.

Thanks to the poltards having to shit up every thread relating to the Covid-19 vaccine into their own hugbox safe spaces (and even resorting to thread banning meanies who cause much hurt feels like @Disheveled Human), this thread no longer needs to bother screencapping Facebook boomers' posts and has instead become full meta with its updates.

Opinions seem to change depending on the amount of police are in their face pushing them towards someplace warm and dry with a shower.
One poster there (who's absent today and I didn't think to screen grab them) constantly posts the same copy pasta about some DOD report that shows an increase in Heart Attacks and Blood Clots in vaccinated enlisted personnel. Of course, when I asked for a link to it, I was directed to "look around on Info Wars" and not an actual report.

Hey, I was wondering what happened to that. Hadn't heard about it in ages. Nice to see it's making some progress.
I don't really care to sift through this individual's twitter account, but I have heard a few Conservatives/Libertarians suddenly voice approval for BLM when they were vocal critics or even outright screaming racial obscenities even at the non-troublemakers.
The sudden support seems a bit hollow to me.

Bruh, they really think Canadians are gonna flee to the USA? Many of the people in the protest have been on CERB or CEWS during the pandemic and receive public medical care...I really think in the back of their head that they realize they've benefited a lot from government programs that the USA does not have.
Refer to all the people who said they'd flee to Canada when something bad happened in the USA.

With that one Republican trying to sponsor a bill for Canadian refugees, if that gets to a vote and the Republicans support it, I think we can officially call the Trump-era anti-interventionist belief dead and was never legitimate to begin with...but we shall see.
