Right now we have two interconnected problems, which if we don't resolve would become a massive headache for any alien races we get into contact with - and these problems might convince the aliens to just yeet Earth into the sun.
1. we have the subhumans that are effectively an evolutionary dead end, who at this time have the sole purpose for existence of living off welfare funded by people who actually try to work and better themselves. If we let this continue when we enter intergalactic society, we will either end up trying to convince all the aliens to give handouts or the nigs will start infesting their planets and demand gibs. Or worse, we might come across some barely sentient fungi that we will be predisposed to allocating our global gdp into caring for them
2. we have the subhumans who lie and scam their way into everwhere, and will try to mimic alient technologies that they don't understand like antimatter and possibly killing us all, if they don't just breed like rabbits and occupy every planet in the universe pretending to be scientists or doctors while not even understanding the function of soap
3. we have the subhumans who are absolutely delusional and narcissistic and are convinced that they have the right to rule over everyone despite being genetically and culturally inferior in every way. In an intergalactic society they would promise them communism only to turn it into tyranny where they try to take over entire planets and exterminate the people who colonised those planets and turned them into thriving societies
All of these issues are likely ones aliens would be familiar with as they had their own versions in the past, enough to recognise that as long as humans are plagued with subhumans they will not be allowed to become a space faring race in contact with extraterrestrial races. But as we enter the Information Age all of these delusions and lies and misunderstandings are coming to light, and eventually the evidence that humanity is better off without subhumans will be so overwhelming that we will naturally purge them. So all the aliens have to do is wait, possibly aim the occasional micrometeorite so that space exploration is seen as risky and expensive.
