so, whats the deal with all of these leftwing tweets with 100K+ likes?
Bots. Remember, these are the same dipshits that cheerfully burn up entire tugboat checks renting botnets to DDoS the Farms. They'll eagerly burn money to "go viral" and "look good" on their social media feeds.
The amount of nurses being exposed as absolute sadists is disturbing. Not like we didn't know, but still, seeing it all at once is something else.
If you truly want to hate American healthcare, both the industry in general and its staff, go volunteer or otherwise "embed" yourself on a hospital ward for a week and listen to the stories (alternatively, befriend a dispatcher, an EMS tech, or an orderly). You will never want to see a doctor or enter a hospital ever again.
They're all whores, for one thing -- every nurse on every floor on every shift fucks everything with a pulse and a work badge. Married, dating, single, clean, infected, doesn't matter. They fuck constantly and they don't care. Many are drug abusers and drunks (for obvious reasons, drugs are easier to obtain there). Many smoke, often like freight trains.
They hate their work and they hate their patients. They make endless jokes at every patient's expense and complain endlessly about literally every aspect of their work. They talk shit about you and your family endlessly. You stink. You're an asshole. You're ugly. Your kids are stupid. You deserve whatever ailment brought you in. You should be
grateful they're even willing to help you at all. Your loved ones are monsters for daring to care about you and ask questions about your care. You're a burden on the staff. They hate you. They sigh in relief when a patient codes and they don't get roped in to deal with it. If a patient they hate codes, they sandbag treatment if they can. If the patient dies, they celebrate, usually by having yet another fucking smoke break.
Your surgeon makes jokes about your appearance in the OR when you aren't awake to hear it. Everyone in attendance laughs, usually because they agree, and only occasionally in fear of reprisal if they don't. You are given a pet name throughout your "adventure" through the system for a given trip (known to the physician, his office staff, on-floor nurses, etc.) if you are offensive enough in some fashion.
And that's if they don't decide to take personal offense to you individually -- all the above is just "you're a patient so you're the enemy" attitude in general. We're seeing it play out right now what happens when they decide they hate you as a person. You deserve to die, ideally slowly and painfully. They question whether they'd take an opportunity to see to that if one arose. Some, sadly, do not pass that internal self-test and do in fact murder patients on occasion. Far more frequently, they still fail that self-test and allow patients to suffer needlessly even when they know they could relieve that suffering without doing harm. Think the nurse really relayed your pain complaints to the attending physician last time you hit that call button and dared interrupt her gossip session with her boy orderly of the week, you filthy Trump supporter?
If you interact with EMS techs for any length of time, you'll learn first-hand how gallows humor gets them through their day. They at least use it to cope, but actual hospital staff take it further and get more vicious about it. Interact with a dispatcher long enough and you'll realize every dispatcher almost without fail is as stupid as the dispatchers on Youtube crime videos make them sound. Lazy, too. And just as judgmental about their charges as every other element of healthcare.
I hope to god when my time comes it's in the form of being vaporized in a nuclear detonation, disintegration in a plane hitting the ocean surface at 600 knots, or peaceful and quiet death in my sleep at home overnight. I never again want to be in the hands of anyone's care within the American healthcare system knowing the fucking monsters that run that shitshow. Even the "good ones" who don't act like that don't last long. Either they can't handle the reality of how shitty they are and quit, or they get corrupted and go along with it.
Will you see people vanish, or will it just be you and your buddies having a good laugh at current events over lunch break?
Can't answer for him, but where I live there's a lot of construction (commercial and residential), and lots of them are/were illegals. When ICE started their big roundups a couple months back, those crews thinned out hard or vanished entirely. For political stuff like this, though? People dragging knuckles, hauling gear, running machines, and doing actual physical labor are mostly heads-down except on breaks among like-minded people, and nobody who puts in a real blue-collar workday is stupid enough to post that horseshit on social media much less celebrate that shit personally among other blue-collar workers. The office workers are another story though.
In other words, the labor jobs will still be well-staffed tomorrow afternoon, but you might well see some fun shortages hitting the management offices upstairs.
