Money Chandlers sued for debt megathread

I don't think this will happen per se, but I'm already placing my one man bet on if Chris loses the house after Barb passes he'll show up on the doorsteps of either the troons or the slightly less autistic kids(@Copitz). This is why you don't tell Chris where you live and befriend him.

My guess is we’re going to see a long and kind of boring couch surfing and short roommate stint saga as Chris burns through we.ens and whatever family he has left. Probably sperg about the rapid loss of stuff through various moves. He might blame randoms as things disappear.

I can’t see him getting anyone to live with him long term, he’ll eventually push anyone away who has the option of leaving.

Picture this. Chris shows up on the doorstep of one of his orbiters rambling about needing a place to stay just for a little while because the merge will definitely happen soon. He's almost reluctantly let in, but they figure they can get some super funny content, possibly boost their Twitch channel by having Chris be their gimmick. They let him stay but under the pretense that he needs to find another place in a month. He agrees.

The first couple of days are okay. He's fucking weird talking to his imaginary waifus and husbandos but it's bearable. By the end of the week everything stinks with BO and middle school girl body spray. Items are clammy by him being perpetually sweaty. Shelf space slowly disappears. Walls are being littered with autistic drawings. They finally realize too late that he has been moving the contents of his old house into their two bedroom apartment. He refuses to leave and goes into hedgehog mode everytime they try and talk to him about it. They break lease and leave, leaving Chris behind. He becomes the leasing office problem but they eventually get him to leave under the threat of arrest. He manages to shuffle all his junk back into his car and a storage unit. He moves onto the next orbiter and the process repeats itself until he dies.

That actually would be a pretty satisfying conclusion to the whole sordid mess.

This will really only hurt Chris when Barb dies. Without Barb to cosign, he will have such shit credit that he will not be able to get a car without an astronomical monthly payment or hell have to get a junker up front. The house is going to get liened to hell too.

I'll think he'll manage the house payments for a while, get pissy, have a begging X-travaganza. When the money from that is wasted on utter bullshit, he might solicit roommates to pay the mortgage at the behest of nefarious people. Needless to say, the walls of 14 BC will have more holes in them than the hymen of a 14-year-old black girl, and Chris will lose the house. He thinks women will have more pitty for him than man, which is utter bullshit, so he'll try to hit them up first. Eventually, he'll burn bridges even with troons, which will lead him to orbiters. I personally don't think Chris will be able to keep this up until he dies. He'll probably die in a group home or on the streets after being strangled by someone he annoyed to death.

As well with Barb's death, I wouldn't be too surprised if he ramped up his sexual inappropriateness with both men and women in an effort to find a Barb-type replacement, who he could be co-dependent with. I think that's going to be one of Chris' problem's post-Barb, he's never not been codependent with someone. It's going to be pretty entertaining to hear about him trying to worm his way back into a co-dependent relationship with unsuspecting orbiters.

How long would Chris have to stay with you until he's entitled to squatter's rights?

Realistically, renting a room there could be just like living with anyone else. Chris could just be in his room all day and Barb watching TV or something. Just cause they're eccentric doesn't mean you'll wake up with a nude Chris crouching over you Gargoyle-style.

Except for the mountains of garbage, the animal feces, the feral dogs, and the horrible smell, it's just like living with anyone else.

The house stinks, the dogs are hostile and Barb is a bitter harpie that hates visitors, I would honestly rather go to prison than live there.

Agreed with this. I’m sure a large majority of us have had this sort of roommate before, the person who stays in their room (which admittedly is a pigsty) all day but otherwise doesn’t disturb anyone. Chris has a good track record of using the tugboat to pay for the mortgage. Not saying I’d ever allow Chris to come within a mile of my house, but I am almost certain I’ve had roommates who were filthier than him in the past, and they also didn’t help pay rent on time.

No hope for Barb though. That woman is disgusting.
