I definitely agree that if Tori has ever been molested or abused or anything else like that, it's happened at that vile school. Her home life is just garden-variety neglect imo.

They are also from Philadelphia, the people here are super fat. Usually cities will have less obesity especially in liberal hell scapes like the north, but Philly is one of the fattest places in the US. As for her being a sped, well that par the course for someone from Philadelphia. 1/4 adults in Philly are illiterate. They usually rely on the Philadelphia school district to not teach them shit instead of some new age charter school.

Nah I have to take a bus which is on a route high schoolers use. Fat gender confused danger haired blobs everywhere. Every other teen girl here basically looks like Tori. Maybe my selection size is slightly bias as the school is an arts high school in a slowly declining “nice” part of Philly.

I’ve followed this woman since her Wasted Birth Control TTC wanna be a mommy blogger days. Shit, I bawled my eyes out when she posted about the loss of her twin sons, but then hardened towards her as she used her experience as a political platform.
I mean we all grieve and anger is a part of the grieving process, but she never seemed to get past the anger/blame stage. She was pointing fingers at doctors who said she couldn’t get pregnant, or worse, shouldn’t get pregnant due to her extreme obesity and she was just downright nasty when she succeeded in her fertility treatments. Losing that pregnancy (following some dodgy prenatal care choices like planning a home birth with midwives) kind of proved them right and she got really angry and bitter.
She should have left it there and just accepted the fact, but she dug her hooves in deeper and proceeded with another round as soon as she was medically cleared. Then Tori came and I think she was genuinely surprised at just how hard parenting would be. She seemed to be stymied by the smallest things and it seemed that her only active parenting was forcing self sufficiency on Tori as early as possible.
It’s sad, that kid has two parents who seem to be more or less at home all day. Her father is educated and from a privileged background and her mother has some talent in regards to writing. She could have had a rich life and instead got two couch potatoes who prefer a plugged in, supine existence.
They’re leeching scum raising a failed social experiment.

^Virtue signaling on social media is easy, requires no work, and attracts followers and asspats. Raising a kid is hard work with no external positive feedback.
Also one of Cecily's twins was already dead in the womb. The other was terminated at 23 weeks because Cecily was literally about to die and couldn't have even undergone a C-section in an attempt to save the extremely premature baby (according to Cess, so take any of this story with a grain of salt). This situation was urgent, extreme, and lose-lose--not what the current abortion debate is about at all, really. There's so much idiotic propaganda and BS coming from both sides on this topic.

This is amazing. I visited this forum after following an unrelated link from another place and I find this thread about the Cecily Kellogg who is married to someone I was friends with a very long time ago, Charlie O'Hay. At that time most people called him Charles. I don't remember anyone calling him Charlie.
I never met this Cecily, but knew her husband Charlie O'Hay decades ago when we were in high school. I moved away and lost touch with him long ago. We spoke very sporadically on the phone when we went to different colleges. At that time I don't remember him having a political bent. But politics wasn't something that came up in our conversations.
Some years ago I googled him and found a blog and some other information that he had posted about himself. I think that he had another blog that he took down a long time ago. His life sounded like a train wreck--and a very long one at that. It turned out that even though I had been to his house a few times when we were in high school and met his mother, I really did not know him well. I had no idea about the abuse that he suffered from his mother. I think he really went downhill after his father died and in the years that followed. All this happened after I moved away. But I do remember him getting decent grades in high school.
I was really saddened by what I found out about him, how his life had turned out, and his attitudes. He seemed to romanticize the poet Charles Bukowski and a skid row lifestyle. I mean I enjoyed the movies Trainspotting and Heat. But that doesn't mean that I want to be a heroin addict or live a criminal lifestyle.
His blog contained a link to that of his wife, Cecily Kellogg. I looked at her blog at the time and it was pretty bad. I did not follow it regularly. It seemed like one week she was posting about going to a mommy blogger conference, the next there was a gofundme so their electricity wasn't turned off. I was amazed at some of the things that she posted about herself that most people would consider extremely negative--things that I would never post about myself. She obviously has a complete lack of self awareness, and worse seems lo love posting things about herself that most people would find disgusting or offputting. At the same time she was trying to advertise her services as a blogger and writing consultant and whatever. Yeah, I would really want to hire a media person who posted about being a drug addict and stealing from former employers.
I am astounded at that amount of information that the folks here have gathered about her.
Imagine my fascination in finding this thread about them. These people are 1000 times worse than I ever realized.
I am absolutely horrified at the environment that their child is being raised in and their obliviousness to any type of parenting skills.
I remember from an old blog entry of Charles that his mother had developed dementia and had to be put into an intermediate care facility and then a nursing home. How did people here discover that the couple looted the woman's bank accounts, lost power of attorney over it, and then got in trouble with Medicaid when they tried to get Medicaid to pay for the woman's nursing home bills? Was Cecily foolish enough to mention things like that in her blog?
