Shake is arguably a much funnier and bombastic character so it makes sense that Snyder got a little extra work. But that doesn't diminish Frylock's value in the show one bit.. Him being the straight man to Shake's and Meatwad's insanity makes the whole much funnier.

Voice acting is a lot harder than you might expect. There are still union and non union VAs who refuse to work for anything to do with EA because of how badly EA treated their voice talents upwards of a decade ago. Some of the stuff they brought up was things like multiple hour sessions of screaming or yelling to a point that some VAs had vocal cord injuries.
