"Quit monkeying around!"
That's racist!

They always end up making cartoons for other miserable, lefty adults. It's not soulful, it's weird but in a bad way, and it certainly is woke. As an example - discussions about stuff like Steven Universe, SVTFOE, Gravity Falls and Adventure Time are kept up by thirty-somethings that were in their mid or late twenties when the show was airing, not children. Making a product for the wrong audience is the ultimate sing of failure. And all newer lefty cartoons are just regurgitations of some more succesful one from before (Not even a spin on the idea). And once again - kids don't watch it.

Mike Judge was a conservative - he made King of The Hill, and funnily enough, it's an animated show made for adults right from the start (Doesn't require subversion of children's perception, unlike leftists). USSR cartoonists, while being of a socialist upbringing, were a bit more conservative than modern leftwingers - and 1988's Treasure Island is in high regard even outside of ex-Eastern Bloc countries.

They're projecting.

I absolutely hate hearing niggas try to make art political. Everyone, regardless of their background or belief system, are capable of making art. The question is whether are not would I be interested in it. There's a lot of shows and movies with progressive themes that have made an impression on me, and similarly, I wouldn't care if a conservative made something, just so long as it's interesting if not entertaining (the 'so bad it's good' category doesn't count here, but those movies/shows have their place).

You open the "My side is better at art" can of worms and you'll fool nobody besides you and the people who already agree with you. Yeah, it's great being tribalist until I'm on the chopping block and my work is being brought to scruntity. FOH!

Won’t get into too much but outside of some friends working for the modern indie scene now, I did Storyboards and clean ups for a few Short films and went to school for it, so you got to meet career animators, you had people who worked on stuff like rugrats rant about how much they hated those babies, got to see cells of the first season of SpongeBob that were worth thousands of dollars. It was a wonderful time of my life but I’m glad I got out before it sucks the life out of you

That’s why I hate to sound mean to the people who work for vivzie because I’m not to fond of her work and personality either but that’s just animation you’re gonna have your supervisor breathing down your back and criticizing it because they want it to be perfect

I can imagine. I’ve heard about KC being really strict about how to draw them. It’s fascinating because all the characters have funny designs.
Exactly especially how the outlines were all wiggly but they weren’t supposed to be like dr katz or like the tracy ullman simpsons… how ironic. Even in like the earlier seasons of rugrats there were those off model shots that look fine but shocked it got through some company with that such high elitism
Neo here would shrivel up and die if he knew how many non-American animators are hardline conservatives, flowing right into NatSoc territory.
To add onto my statement about how cynical and gruff the animators are here in America are I would hate to see the the overseas outsourcing practically sweatshops in korea are like. Prior to that banksy controversial couch gag the simpsons did funny cause that was made on computers as opposed to 90s where all the actual memorable loved cartoons happened all made there by hand. someone there probably would like to strangle people like this who act like cartoons are magical and whimsy let alone respect thier pronouns.

I have lost count of how many prominent Japanese showrunners have just outright called Koreans dogs and shat all over Westerners and still have jobs. Anyone who tried that pronoun shit around them would get called a fag immediately and bullied out of the studio.

lol at how they drew them so white they look like members of Blur
Blur is cool though :(

To be fair, they do have a point, not about conservatives or woke and having a soul. You do have to be a bit of an oddball, and at least be funny. Yeah, talentless hacks get air time all the time but that shouldn't stop you from chasing your passion.

Isn’t this guy successful? Just fucking ignore it, man, good lord. It was a parody. More people likely know about it because he brings it up than they do watching the show.

Dude lives a life other people would probably kill for, and he needs to get in a pissing match every 5 minutes about stupid shit. He literally keeps getting in his own way. Just live your best life, man.
