From what I’ve read you only have to prove minimum savings +/or monthly income for temp residency (which he apparently could, four years ago,) then you automatically get perm residency if you can document having lived there for four years. No need to prove anything financial beyond what you had to document for the initial temp. residency. There must be something he’s not disclosing that would prevent that though, for him to suddenly be so pressed to ‘get out of mexico.’ And learning Spanish is not needed for perm residency, only if you want to apply for citizenship.

I think he's been wanted to go there from the git-go. He's like a kid in the candy store down there. What was stopping him was wanting to get this permanent residency card. I believe he was once again in Scooby-Panic mode scared this time about fucking this up somehow. So, the goal-get that Mexican permanent residency card then nothing stands in his way.
Besides the fact that he's exceptionally lazy and doesn't see the utility in learning Spanish because he doesn't interact with people often enough in his daily life to make it worth the trouble, never mind that he has absolutely zero IRL social life and I guess he just plans on never having one, not knowing the language is one of his favorite things about Mexico. On the rare occasion he ventures outside he can waddle around in blissful ignorance not knowing what cruel things those around him are saying. Even then he still finds himself in awkward situations where his lizard brain detects trouble and in those cases he pretends to not understand what's going on and oh! look at that, they're actually just big fans of the Killstream! And he thinks this will just keep on working indefinitely and he eventually won't piss off the wrong person.
Just imagine living in LaLa Land like he does as a 40 something male. Hell, he just admitted a day or two ago that Scarlett Hampton knows more Spanish than he does; he's lived in Mexico for 4 years and so far as we know she's never stepped foot in the country. Just think about that for a minute. Absolutely mind boggling.

-Multiple instances of him swearing on his mother that he would never talk to scarlet again. He talked to her later that day.
-He was talking about scarlet saying her email was full. He wonders if it is because of all the Tryst.com emails she gets. Then he reveals that she told him that she needs to log into Tryst.com once a week to keep the account active. This fucking loser was with her while she was turning tricks, and this was the lie she fed him and he eagerly swallowed it.

Yes, going from temp to perm is automatic. He should not need to prove any income/savings after 4 years. 4 years he survived there counts as a proof of self sufficiency.

What's hilarious to me is Ralph absolutely internally rationalized Queen Scarlett getting paid to fuck dudes as some sort of W. He definitely bought in on the retarded idea of being her 'manager', and that he was a really dude who was pimping his hoe out for tricks.
Then what's double hilarious xonsidering how Ralph's brain works, jealousy, fear, and self-doubt was constantly creeping for multiple reasons.
- The knowledge that Scarlett was out there fucking other dudes.
- The knowledge that these dudes were absolutely putting on a sexual performance than him. Be it dynamic positions, having an erection, not being a physical abomination, etc.
- The knowledge that Scarlett, being the insane crackwhore that she is, is liable to just up and leave Ralph for one of these dudes.
- The knowledge that no matter how much he spun it, that the alogs were gonna make fun of him for obvious reasons, regardless of how much he could justify it in his xanny-flavored brain. Plus, there'd ofc be speculation that Ralph was watching from the cuck chair because of how naturally that leads from willfully allowing your girlfriend to fuck other dudes.

Has there been any further confirmation of this being real? I’m having doubts because Ralph loves Hunter S. Thompson down to believing he’s a gonzo journalist and frequently references him, and in the book Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, his attorney has angina and takes nitroglycerin for it. What are the odds that Ralph legitimately had a heart problem in Las Vegas and was given nitroglycerin just like in his favorite book? It’s too much of a coincidence. This smells like wrassle wrassle.
Higher than the odds he didn't have a heart issue. That would not be unheard of for a person that age and that lifestyle, it's stranger that he didn't have more issues.
Southern good ol boy Ralph is from west Memphis but never really says Arkansas. I forget whether with Nora or faith it came out but he was born and raised in west Memphis.
He probably thinks (correctly) that most people hear "West Memphis" and think it's actually a part of Memphis and not a shithole that makes the actual Memphis look like a paradise.
Anwer Me! was some pretty good shit at the time. Ralph would like him, as he was less degenerate than Ralph himself but more degenerate than his hero HST.

He takes amyl nitrite for it. It's kind of a joke about his "medicine." They included a lot of it in the stash described in the beginning, and did it publicly and used that as a transparently bogus excuse.
Ralph even dubbed Elaine a Killstream Cohost around the last time he had an altercation with Deni, somewhere around the first quarter of 2024. He had her on the show almost daily for two weeks during that phase.
It was pretty funny because she was clearly trying to work both Ralph and Deni.
