Having not seen the episode (and having neither the time nor the interest to watch it), could anyone tell me how many points were hit on the Dick Wolf Doesn't Understand the Internet List?

The new counterpart to the Oprah Over 9000 and They Call Themselves Anonymous. A ridiculously mis-informed episode done by someone who does not understand the internet or video games and has elected to do a show centering on both. It is unequivocally one of the most unintentionally funny things I've watched on television in almost 10 years and it spawned instant memes, including "DOES YOUR SON PLAY VIDEO GAMES," and the REDCHAN.IT website (which Hotwheels bought and now redirects to 8chan from). and succeeded at making the Antis fucking apoplectic because it portrayed their side as being crazies who believe this is actually what Gamergate is. The bulk of GGers, familiar with being media scapegoats since the advent of video games, simply laughed and pointed at it, responding with outright mockery.

If you ever have the chance, watch the episode online. It's fucking hysterical. We are talking The Room levels of unintentional funny.

Every single one of these is done in this episode. Almost all of them are done in a few scenes regarding REDCHAN.IT, which of course is where these HACKERS ON STEROIDS come from. Humorously, someone on the crew knew enough to help set this name up and take a potshot at Something Awful in the process (take a look at the Gamers' flag - it's essentially the SA grenade with a texture), so thank you, nameless uncredited intern. You made the episode even funnier than it otherwise would be.

From what it sounds like in what he tells me, the con itself is kind of sparsely attended (Well below expectations) and is one of the most unpleasant things he's ever been to.

Given Wu's gone-viral temper tantrum and proclaiming it as "her" convention, she might possibly have killed RavenCon by simply driving off the general public.

Dunno if is that . Somebody post the Ralph video in a neogaf splinter forum (banned users and regular users/mods talking behind everyone back). The reaction was that "Ralph seems so much a fat fedora MRA stalker" (well, kind of, being sincere) than actually "Crazy Wu". Unless you know how crazy and SocialNetwork addict Wu is, she is not scary by her being casual. Feels more like Wu just go to every convention that paids her than she scaring anybody.
