Ah.. My words were rather crudely chosen, right? I admit that my mocking of Wu's gender was rather shallow, but I believe my point stands that the moment Wu became a vocal feminist on the internet is the moment Wu became a lolcow. I absolutely meant no offense to feminism in general.
Whilst I would agree, normally.... No.
Wu has
always been a lolcow.
She didn't reach the critical mass necessary to be milkable, however, until she latched onto Anti-GG. At this point, she endeavored to become one of the most visible members of the opposition, mostly by shrieking really loudly about how oh-so-oppressed she was. She needed to appear visible, so
she false flagged herself repeatedly. First, she got her ass kicked by a parapelegic man:
This would mark things to come, as Brianna Wu is, impossibly, a bigger narcissist than Gloria Tesch and Chris-Chan
combined.
Not content to have gotten her shit exposed on 8chan, she then went on to continue to exploit obvious troll accounts and false-flag herself: first on her own, then
by drumming up a threat by SomethingAwful's FYAD as if it were something serious. At first many people simply put two and two together and thought
maybe Wu was simply full of shit, but Wu increasingly showed she'd do anything to make herself seem a victim, including
fleeing her home because she was oh-so-panicked, only to later have, due to her own fucking incompetence, the revelation that
she never left her home show itself:
Even fucking
bush-league liars know to keep their lies consistent, lest they be found out. Thankfully, Brianna Wu is fucking
incompetent. After responding to Jace's RACE ME IRL postings like they were a credible threat (spoiler alert, Brianna and
every supporter she has, including Margaret Pless, insists Brianna's in actual danger from these: You know, from a man who does not exist).
She then went on to treat the infamous SVU Episode, "
Intimidation Game," as a documentary and that she feared for her life because of it.
All of this came to a head when Brianna Wu started openly false-flagging herself in order to distract from the fact that
Revolution 60 was getting anally fisted in the court of public opinion on Steam. Only problem? She forgot to log out of her developer account:
And things sort of spiralled out from there. Brianna's always, at her core, been Chris with a budget, but it's Gamergate as a whole and her desire to profit off it, a-la Anita Sarkeesian and Zoe Quinn that pushed her from simple lolcalf to full-blown lolcow. At this point, I'll be genuinely surprised if we
ever see
Revolution 60 come out for PC.
