And did Wu really say that Spectre was better than A View to a Kill, The Spy Who Loved me or Live and Let and Die?

If you're a man and politely disagree with Wu on something like that she'll respond with "There's something about men (optional "of a certain age range") who like [insert something she isn't a fan of]" and then she'll proceed to talk down to you. She's done this in regards to Frank quite a few time because of his taste in Star Trek classic. I have no clue why Wu does this but it comes off as pretty damn condescending and passive aggressive.

However when anyone disagrees with her directly and they're in some position of power or influence she'll ask them if they want a cup of coffee sometime. She's done this from people who actually work into the tech industry to the moderator steam assigned to the Revolution 60 discussion page. If Wu ever asks you to have coffee with her it's because she wants you to use your influence for her.

I think there's more canned responses from Wu. Maybe someone else can remember them.

I have signed NDAs in the gaming industry and you aren't even allowed to mention the title you are covering/translating/working on. She already violated the NDA and I wouldn't do business with Wu if that's how he honors that agreement.

EDIT: You are allowed to talk about it after the game is published AND if you got crediting rights (not having them is rare but can still happen) and as long as you don't publish insider info, because that's very unprofessional. I'd say it's his first NDA because no one with experience would gamble on this. Or consider it a big deal.
The NDA I signed for the new James Bond book contained a part saying they could sue me if I disclosed anything about it, so it would be pretty amusing if Wu's inability to control her ego results in a court summons. It could be that it's different across the pond, though.

I was thinking more like this, but okay. (:_(

What I like most here is that John thinks that people ought to be impressed by this. John, your game is a week overdue already: you SHOULD be coding like a fucking bat out of hell. No one throws a ticker tape parade for me when I show up to work on time.

Wu has been shilling for Tomb Raider online since 2013. Lara Croft, above any other character, is Brianna's perfect woman. She's sprerged about her for years, and her big claim to fame even before R60 published was because she wrote a response to a Giant Bomb piece that got a tiny bit of attention.

Every chance she gets, more than any series, she sites or references Tomb Raider as ultra important, and has bragged repeatedly about getting advanced comics or trailers or games. She's even publicly begged for advanced copies of the game and has done it so much she actually got one. I'm trying my absolute hardest not to tinfoil hat right now, but it seems to be that the reason Brianna picked Samus as her "trans" character is because she feels Lara Croft is the epitome of "female" and could never be anything else.

its okay bb, smutley is always right :heart-full:
Hah, he thinks that his opinions matter.

Remember when John claimed that his game is ready for release?

A game "ready for release" won't need this sort of tweaking.

Except you can't be an egalitarian, because those people are just gross and icky and deserve to be kicked in the balls.

Right, John. We should all follow the example of a racist white man in girlface who backstabs women, minorities and transsexuals whenever they deem it fit to do so.

Actually we should be fair here: since John has 0 members on staff, his ratio of diverse hires in every category are infinite %.

Her track record of what? Screaming on Twitter over actual Black people about #BlackLivesMatter? Screaming on Twitter about her claims of (fake) harassment? Whining on Twitter about the TSA? Making fun of Frank on Twitter? Claiming to be something she is not on Twitter, be it a woman-born-woman, a game developer, a feminist (let alone a "Godzilla of tech feminists," puh-lease), an employer, successful, I could go on.

The only thing of a track record I'm seeing here is her constant posts on Twitter about random bullshit to run from the fact that she is late in delivering Rev60 for PC. And asking about LIGHTING? Oh, sweetie, that's not "just touching up backgrounds," that's the basic design. Is she now going to claim that she had to scrap the iOS version entirely because it wouldn't work, even though, Unreal is used in PC game development and it's a simple fucking port, compared to rewriting the game for console and PC release.

Where's the game, Brianna?
