Insecurity. John knows he'll never be able to have the body of a real woman no matter how much he tries to fool himself. It's why he personally loves games filled with sexy women but gets randomly triggered by it anywhere else. Why not just save everyone a bunch of money and replace the whole economics department with sexually violated war refugees?

Sex appeal bothers Wu (and other "sex-positive" feminists for that matter) for a myriad of reasons: First and foremost is that its a """male power fantasy.""" Secondly they claim that fictional characters "dont have agency" and are MADE that way by EVIL MEN!!! I wish I was kidding...
Can't wait for a patch or something to cause drama and then Wu start lecturing Blizzard Entertainment, one of the biggest game companies out there, on how to handle their product.
Also of course she loves d.Va, she's a tough gamer grrrrrrrrrrrl. d.Va isnt even that "strategic." Her ultimate has some playing-making potential but its radius makes it easy to use. The rest of her kit is pretty straight-forward: shoot things, block things, and fly at things. Zarya and Roadhog function much better as the "strategic" tanks, while Winston, D.Va, and Reindhardt function more as straight-up "damage sponges." Of course, Wu probably couldn't understand that and would tell off someone who tried to explain it to her.

In my experience D.va is usually played by getting her behind enemy lines as a giant distraction or as Reaper-Lite. Reinhardt is the pushing tank.
I thought it was Mei.
