Do control freaks actually find betas sexy?
Nah, it's just agreeable to their ego.

I think it's like the deal with Voldemort where people only follow her because they think she's some sort of authority and are scared to not be on her side, or have warped her narcissistic ramblings into something that they agree with. Most of them seem to be even less intelligent and rational than Wu herself, which I guess makes it easy for them to drink her kool aid.
I like that comparison, but Voldy passes better than Wu.

EDIT: Pity we can't judge for ourselves since this game is never coming out.

I'm torn between mocking Brianna for posting that two years late and not using the Spongebob "Nobody cares" macro and mocking Brianna for posting that two years early and not using the already mentioned image.

It means fuck all. Technical jargon mashed up into nonsense. Git is used to back up, manage and contribute to projects, but it's the code and the resources used in the project that you archive/upload/distribute. The binary would be the finished, compiled program, which you don't shove on git for team members to modify and work on because people have trouble reading and comprehending billions of 0s and 1s.

Basically, Wu is again trying to sound tech-savy while proudly declaring "I have no idea what I'm doing" to anyone who has even the slightest familiarity with the technology.

Maybe Wu thinks programming is like the matrix where you can see a shitton of ones and zeros scroll down a screen and mentally parse it into "redhead, brunette, blonde" in real time

Well, it's not like John was ever tech fancy. Little reminder :

The "=" mistake is one thing, but why didn't he just write "if(tweeter==gamergater || tweet==negative) cout << "Block" << endl;" ? One line instead of 5. Also, capitalized variables? Confusing pointless else statement? You learn not to do that shit on your first day.

Is that why R60 isn't out yet? Because it doesn't run?

No one's going to make the joke? It's going to fall to me?

*sigh*

With Wu not explaining what the fuck she meant, can we say she failed to GIT gud?

wow Tip your waitress. I'll be here all week. wow

Milo is the glorious faggot you will never be, John.

At least the fat weeb actually understands video games, you vicious zero-talent harpy.

I won't even pretend to know what is going on anymore.

Wu found some article proclaiming that "Errbody can be a good programmer, it doesn't take any talent", objected to the premise, which is actually sensible because it's retarded to insinuate that programming is something anyone can learn/do, and started to get lost somewhere along the way starting to talk like she has any idea what it means to be edicated in the the field of software development.

>don't pretend you can do this job and not bother to know anything.
>Anyone with experience knows this!
>for your coworkers.

Jesus H. Christ on a on a trike...

I've worked in software for a long, long time and I didn't find the article to really be that polarizing. In "tech" you will encounter people who are amazingly talented beyond comprehension. There are also people who might lack raw ability but are driven by passion and excitement. And then there is the majority of people who simply dig-in and get the work done in an uninspired, yet throughly competent way.

You do NOT need talent or passion, the things you simply MUST possess if you want to remain employed as a software developer are:
1) a willingness to learn from mistakes
2) attention to detail
3) ability to get things done on time

Looks like Wu is out of luck.

Is she just throwing out tech terms randomly now?

"Bit of a issue on steam's side with a kernel update to their server-side os, have done a pull request to git and am awaiting two pass verification in the cloud."

Wu claims to suffer from constant death threats from her ideas while giving no evidence other than a few random complaints filed against spambots. And yet there are mountains of evidence that show Wu incessantly publicly mocking people for their beliefs and appearance. She's just a dick, plain and simple.
