Man, I was kind of tempted to rant a little about the "LOOK AT US, WE'RE LESBIANS! DO YOU SEE WE'RE LESBIANS?! IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT AND IT SURE WAS LUCKY SHE WAS ALSO A LESBIAN! AM I SAYING IT LOUD ENOUGH?" deal with Isobel and Nightsong
That was the most eyerolling moment in the entire game, which surprised me because I expected a lot more ham-handed twitter gender politics. It was immensely gratifying when I realized
you could sell Nightsong into slavery once you meet Lorroakan.

The cultured man spoiler option.

This dude made an entire paragraph edit to cry about negrates and bemoan no one paying attention to him and he is calling other people Reddit, lol. Not necessarily a lesbian, she might be straight but the actual divine immortal daughter of the goddess she serves would be too big to pass up.
What grates me is how they keep repeating the same options every time until the last battle.

Well that's a gold medal in spiritual gold digging.

Okey do I get to be moon goddess pope if I rugmunch your daughter?

...Most people on this forum aren't boomers and redditors and don't tie their morality to the fiction they consume, much less one optional event in a game you can just choose not initiate. I also have played GTA even though I think Murder and Armed Robbery are rude in real life...

True. In real life I'd never fuck a Githyanki (which are basically a cross between a militant Chink and a monitor lizard), but BG3 Chad Bard Manul thinks anything freaky (that doesn't make one a zoophile, troon, or a queer) is worth a spin. Might even be able to make a good drinking song about it.

Im somewhere in act 3 and this game has a lot of issues. It's a very polished 7/10 game which I guess in the modern world makes it a 10/10. The core of the game seems to not be very well thought out as management of most of the games systems is a hassle and introduces a lot of problems that were solved a long time ago. Why is it in 2023 that we can't have a proper inventory system? Even something like Skyrims vanilla jank at least has different categories and would have been a lot easier to use then what we got.

Another system that's terrible is selection of companions. Kotor 2 had a simple wheel where you could pick and chose your companions as you wished except for when you are restricted by the story. Why in gods name do we need to go to camp talk to who ever should stay and then talk to who we want to join? That sort of system works great for something like Mass effect where you run pretty much a permanent party where you don't need to worry about gear or setups while here to get the best experience you need to switch them out as the game will explicitly tell you bring companion X. Influencing the companions is also inconsistent almost like some of the approval points doesn't trigger for certain dialogue.

Something BG1 and 2 had that is sorely missed in this game is a dateing system. Having a quest failing to trigger or fail cause of you rested at the wrong time is stupid when spell slots are tied in to resting.
All of the diversity in the game weirdly makes it less so? Hear me out. All of the humanoid races are living in harmony and has a monoculture except for the frogs. Which is why they are the only interesting races in BG3 are the frogs and the Duergar. Even the tieflings which are suposed to be humans infused with devils blood are just held up as poor refugees in the game.

Then there is the small stuff that can be patched out. Combat if there is more then 3 enemies is so slow cause of the dicerolls, that you wish for a speed up button like you have in all 4X games. Jumping being tied to strength is really fucking stupid. My paladin can jump up two stories in full plate while Astarion can't jump a small gap in leather armour.

I wonder how much of Act 3 they intend to actually implement in the end. Their recent response to players about the future seemed like intentionally vague corpo-speak so they could basically do as much or little as they want and still be able to say "We never said we would/wouldn't do XYZ..."

I see both sides of it. A little quest marker for timed quests should fixed that.
Yeah that's kind of my thoughts too. However, on the other hand, a lot of DD at the table gives little to no warning something is going to happen. I've yet been able to save that certain character too and am of the mind that they are meant to die and loot later. I only know this because it is showed as complete in my quest log. I got surprised and annoyed by another similar instance involving a door of which you need to wear something to get past. Totally didn't expect to be fighting a certain enemy after a certain amount of time either. I'm really glad, however, that an encounter like it is in the game as it really felt like a table top moment haha. Shocked silence sort.

Act 3 didn't get as much polish as the first two acts did IMO. However, it does appear Larian is actually listening to the consumers and are making changes to the act as well as fixing more bugs. As for the other things, yeah, the mechanics of DND are a little wonk; I kind of find it to be the charm.

On the note of wonky, I'm really glad the multi-class restriction has been removed. I think every character I use and the companions are multi-classed by level 5 in some capacity. I'm really thankful that they removed restrictions on multi-classing. Shadowheart Bard/Cleric, Asterion Rouge/Ranger (Dual hand crossbows is broken AF), Laze--the gith Cleric/ Sorcerer (Storm), Dark Urge Oath Breaker Paladin/Warlock (Trying to see if I can work in a Druid of the Spores with the Gish).

Man, I really hope when they release the mod support someone uses the base mechanics of the game to allow us to create custom campaigns and maps. Probably a pipe dream, but I would use this game over roll 20 any day of the week.

IDK if it has been posted before, but I use this site to help pre-build and work out character concepts/synergies. BG3Builder

IDK what they'll do, however, unlike the majority of triple A studios these days I trust they'll actually do their best to please the most people.

Baldur's Gate 3 is a game for trannies and zoophiles. If you are a user of this site who has at any point been enraged by the acts of the furry zoophile faggots and you are playing this game then you lack a consistent morality. Besides being packed with various tiers of the standard wokeisms, BG3 literally has a scene where you can have sex with a druid who has transformed into a bear. An actual bear. Not a cartoon bear. Not a person wearing a anthropomorphic bear suit (which would be degenerate enough as it is), but an actual fucking bear. In the furry community such degeneracy is called "feral" porn and is near unanimously looked down upon even by those faggots, so why is this an exception? The argument that "it's really a human tho so it's totes fine" is not a valid argument and to those who make that argument I ask you: Would you say the same if instead of transforming into a bear they transformed into a toddler? Philosophically, there is very little difference between the two.

Edit: Just as I assumed. You will negrate & seethe but not a single one of you can provide a viable counter-argument to my point. You have inconsistent morals at best. All you know is "consoom product". You'll talk a big game about how "based" you are and post on "le Internet terrorist forum", but all that goes out the window the second it comes between you and new product. What complete and utter faggots you are. What complete and utter Redditors you are.
Video games are not real life, you absolute buffoon.

lmfao kill yourself.
just killed sarevok. bet daddy is gonna give him an ear full for dying. again.

was he that much of a bitch in the older games?
Yes, he was always bitchmade.

Game releases in about 5 days for PS5 users; wonder how it's gonna play? I'm probably gonna pick it up myself; granted, got a lot of shit to deal with on my end, so I might not be able to do much.

Hell, might be popping back on here to get some help with characters; always have trouble making one that I like...

Also:

I'll give you your >you. You mean newfags? I don’t think you’ll ever hear null or others talk about how based “we” are.

Guys, stop arguing with the troll; he's just here stirring shit up to get a reaction. Just ignore/report him, and move on. He probably got lost on his way to r/KotakuInAction, is all.

Última edición:
Can't believe people are complaining about AC in this game. You want bullshit AC go play Pathfinder Wraith of the Righteous. Late game normal enemies have AC of 70.
I wasn't even min maxing that hard and my sorlock and Astarion both had 95/99% accuracy (Astrarion with sharpshooter on, even) most of act 3. AC honestly seemed low overall, while saves seemed appropriate when you were targeting their weak stats or too high all other times.

So fun story, I was an idiot and didn’t realize it was only on PS5. So I figured “hey, I’ve always meant to set up a Steam account. Guess here’s a good reason to finally do so.” Set it up, bought and downloaded the game…and it chugs.

It chugs bad.

My basic bitch PC obviously can’t handle it, and it turn out to be a specific build that can’t replace/upfrade the PSU(size of the box and how the unit is shaped), which is the major issue aside from updating the graphics card and memory.

So using the very last of my extra cash and a no interest credit(so long as I pay it back within a year, which isn’t a problem) I got a full gaming PC/moniter/desk/chair. The works.

Desk and chair are mostly just a basic chair and computer desk, found a decent deal on a 27 in curved monitor, but the desktop was the big money sink.

I’m pretty happy with it, and it’ll save me buying a new next Gen console for a while. May even stream with it now and then for funsies.

I’m gonna guess recuitablity is dependent upon if he turns on you or not. So you either lobotomy him, or you reach the control area BEFORE demon boy dies.
You don't need to kill the demon boy. Just have Shadowheart (Or yourself, if a caster who can cast command) hit him with Command and he has a 55% chance of dropping it.
Then just ahve lae'zel grab it and keep going to the connectors and you get Us and the sword.

No, I know. I just meant Us not being turned against you is probably the major factor in terms of the end of Act 2 thing happening.

I killed the cambion and mindflayer and I don't think it turnes on me. Did not do the mutilate part, but can check as I am not 100% sure on it, as I didn't know he would return later.
