I'm not sure. If they got rid of half elves, possibly all elves are basically half elves now? I.e. they are not that distinct from humans other than the ears.

To be fair there's a feat for that in 5e.
You roll with that, Sharpshooter, and a fighter with Archery as your fighting style and you're going to be killing everyone left and right with crossbows.

You can't dual-wield crossbows with this feat. The Ammunition property requires a free hand to feed the weapon ammunition. However, you can still make the bonus action attack with the same crossbow you already attacked with twice.

Larian would be wise to not fall for the tranny playbook of allowing people to tick a box that says "tranny" because it won't be good enough, and when you extend that modicum of acknowledgement they'll feel like they can you to cater to the rest of their demands as well.
it isn't enough that you give people the tools to make a tranny character and let people roleplay as one because that isn't the tranny experience, they want the game itself to acknowledge that you've made a tranny and thus opted for "transgender difficulty" so now the entire game has to account for that choice.
look at these fags groveling for game developers to put the plight of the brave tranny into their game, "show the player the hardships of transitioning" as if changing your junk isn't as simple as twirling your wand at it in this universe, "the bigotry" as if people are going to give a fuck about trannies when people are changing species entirely.
they want trannies to be somehow still stigmatized in these settings because they want to be victims above everything else, but they also want to be special for being trans while people in these universes are already doing way wilder shit than just changing gender, they've centered their entire personalities around the fact that their decision to chop their cocks off got validated by their echo chambers and they can't cope with the fact that these games don't validate or acknowledge trannies as being noteworthy in this setting (like they wanted being a tranny to warrant having the same sort of dialogue reactivity like the Drow get).
you can see this phenomenon in real life with those GDQ trannies, there's so many trannies over there that just being a tranny alone wasn't enough to stand out anymore so they started identifying as woodland animals and shit, and while they were busy one-upping each other in the bid for having the most unchecked autistic gender identity they've started to identify as AI's by the end of it.

The game is about you being abducted by mindflayers and facing the possibility of becoming part of the hive mind. Coming to terms with being trans is probably the least of that character's worries. That suggestion is a whole layer of unnecessary "plot" that the majority of players won't even touch.

So, it's less than a 9 hours until release. Until I play as a White Male to add into database of players choosing them in Larian servers. I wonder what will be a reaction when they release who made what later like Bioware did with mass effect

Eh that's why I don't get WoTC's battle wheelchairs. Potion of grow dick, potion of heal legs, potion to turn you into a halfling for Isenguard infiltration.
Or if your legs got torn off... have magical peglegs, enchanted metal legs, or have a golem carry you.
When a hungarian general had a stroke and lost control of his legs, his men tied him to his horse. And he couldn't cast fireballs. Considering forests don't have wheelchair ramps, even a regular crutches would be better.
I kind of hope this goes onto Hogwarts legacy 2.0 . The devs clearly tried to be inclusive, just not the whole 6 gorillion mile of rewriting the entire game for them with the Troon campaign. So normies should be baffled.
If it is 2005 liberal edgyness, due to the Overton window shift, this gonna be good, my redguards.
I must admit my sins. I'll propably play a white male, but will likely have a white dwarf and a drow girl. I like to be edgelord and I like to test out new species.
Gaming isn't just self inserts, sometimes you want to weave thr tale of a drunken dorf.
Though the idea of a hungarian isekaid and yelling "Pálinka! Where palinka is? We travellings to tavern NOW!" sounds funny at first, it would get old fast. Roleplaying is about being able to play something you can't in real life, the pretend you are an angry troll is part of the fun.
I also don't think you can dual wield ranged weapons. Unless they added one handed crossbows. And I don't think they got regular ammo counters to reload, just special ammo like fireball arrows.

It's a game with dozens of hours of dialogue, story and whacky side quests.
Some of it happens to pander or not pander to a certain crowd/in-group, perhaps intentional or perhaps not, and the respective out-group will be out-raged.
Normal people just go "lmao druid bear fucking" and move on without thinking this is either otherkin furry representation or an indication that the west has fallen.

How many big game studio CEOs are such full blown nerds like Sven? Not counting indies developers studios studios that have made a big budget games. There's Gabe Newell, hell I'll be generous and say Tim Sweeney since he created the Epic Engine. But beyond that it's few and far between.
These are the same gamers who will whine that Game Development has become heartless and we have one nerdy Belgian who makes the games he wants to make. But let's criticize him, if Sven wants to Larp he should put on a sorceress's dress for the tranny cred.

Monk wasn't in Early Access, but there's a subclass called Way of Shadow.
At 6th level, you gain the ability to step from one shadow into another. When you are in dim light or darkness, as a bonus action you can teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space you can see that is also in dim light or darkness. You then have advantage on the first melee attack you make before the end of the turn
If you find shaded areas, you can teleport and punch niggas in the nuts. It sounds extremely fun.
Also, while Duel Wielding will lose some damage mathematically at the later levels, it still is cool and I think they even made animations different for certain races. I know for elves they made them fancier.
