I drink alot of it. 75% with vanilla.
just get a 1L bottle of milk, take a swig from it and add the powder. mix and you are good to go.
I like it alot because its very refreshing and a fantastic snack on the go.

although I expect that'll wane as the years go on.

Unfortunately, it probably will. Exogenous lactase efficacy typically decreases with exposure and time up to the point it becomes completely ineffective.

Drinking a chocolate milk protein shake right now.

Was your rabbi named Bill Clinton? He told me the same thing.

My Rabbi, Bill Clinton, told me that the cigar in question was 100% kosher.

I've started drinking chocolate milk in the morning. I don't eat breakfast but I do run so it's easy protein with some easy carbs due to the use of real sugar. One of the few foods I can think of that has real sugar in it anymore... Then I reuse the small plastic bottle for water in the summer heat, then I can start sprinting to finish and just chuck the bottle in the bin to have empty hands.

I used to consume chocolate milk semi regularly, but when I moved I no longer had access to the dairy that made quality choccy milk. At the new locale all I can find are shit brands filled with things that are neither chocolate or milk.

Now I just brew up a half pot of crazy strong quality coffee, mix in a little sugar, salt, dump that with approx half gallon of whole milk into a jug and I have my breakfasts made for the week. Despite enjoying chocolate more than coffee, my house made coffee milk is miles better than any chocolate milk I can find in store, and unlike cocoa powder, I always have coffee in the pantry.

Take the coffee milk pill, kiwisisters.

I love chocolate and I love milk, but the problem I have with wanting to buy or make chocolate milk, is that I love just plain milk (2% or whole, for me) and that I'm always thinking okay but do I NEED to turn this into what's basically dessert? so I treat it like a rare dessert. On top of that I'm one of those fun-haters who drink like 70% water 25% milk 5% everything else to begin with

Easily the best one. It's like drinking melted ice cream.
This stuff, though, oh my god. It's so tempting that it's probably straining my relationship with the rest of it because it's so good

Oh man. Now I want to find this version of promised land. I drink chocolate milk like.. once every 3 years or so. Mostly because it's garbage tier over sweet not milk not chocolate most of the time. But every once in a while...

Its been a shitty week and its definitely been a couple years... that and mr kittens will happily drink the rest of the bottle because I sure as heck won't get through the whole thing.

I use a mini-blender to make homemade chogolate milk. I specifically buy bulk organic cocoa powder for this purpose. A years supply of high quality organic cocoa powder is like $25.

If you want to make syrup, you can do so with a blender. It's just cocoa powder, sugar, and water. After blending, put it on the stove and whisk lightly until it is thick. Then pour it into your serving receptacle.

I don't drink it much anymore but my favorite is the powdered nesquik chocolate always my favorite but the strawberry is good also.

I'd have to take a moment to be that food snob bitch again.

Please get yourself some decent dark chocolate (many baking chips are fine and very economical) and make a lower fat content ganache by stirring it into a very small amount of very hot milk. The microwave is just fine, and it's very convenient for adding more milk and nuking it for another 20-30 seconds before stirring again. Get your "ganache" nice and loose, no specks or "grains", and mix that in with a glass of milk long enough in advance for the temperature to drop back down in the fridge. It also doubles as hot chocolate if you nuke the whole thing, and it's pretty great if you add a shot of espresso.

This may sound like a pain in the ass, and it would be if you drink chocolate milk on the reg, but it's much more reasonable and well worth it if this is done with an entire jug of milk. It also contains far less sugar than what you'd normally get in the store, with a much deeper, more chocolatey flavor. Godspeed, fellow chocolate dairy enjoyers.

Most "chocolate milk" on sale nowadays is nothing but goyslop. It's 1% or 2% milk at best, with thickener, corn syrup, and artificial flavoring. Like a liquid version of the "frozen dairy product" that masquerades as ice cream nowadays, and doesn't melt. Seeing the whole milk Promised Land brand that a few people have posted above is interesting though. I don't like anything too sweet, but might have to see if I can find it and give it a try..... 🤔

My European genes are wired to give me a preference for milk chocolate over the Americanism that is chocolate milk

I wish people could just drink their beverages without being snooty about it and would just enjoy themselves with a childlike joy.
