Sounds to me they called his bluff (possibly after ensuring they have all their shit in order to ensure there are no legal or ethical repercussions) and now as the ball gets rolling Andrew realizes he has fucked off too close to the sun and is desperately trying to backpedal because he's in a situation where he might lose everything.

Thankfully those agencies that he called will have records. Police will have bodycam. It's irrefutable that he's stated this dozens of times so he can't blame it on internet "buwwies." At the same time in doing so he's absolutely showing his hand that he's competent. He'd have to be competent to attempt to orchestrate this as well as competent even if the situation *were* true to actualize this and put forth the evidence to the agency. A true client would likely not have that ability.

I wonder if he'll try/manage to salvage something in Erie, try his luck in another city/state, attempt to crawl back to Tawm or something else. I'd love to see him get booted from services and see those resources go to someone who genuinely needs them.

We now see the same behaviors from Tonawanda play out in Erie and his father can’t be blamed this time because he isn’t even in the same state. It's hard to fake crying unless you're a great actor. Fuck even if you are, if you're a nutcase you can't because you're lying about something more authentic and not for a movie/play. Look at Amber Heard, she's a BPD basket case and she could not shed a single tear on stand despite sounding choked up and emotional.

Of course Andy isn't a professional actor. The best is when he's trying to cry (IE the most famous headbanging video) and it just sounds like giggling because he's in his element, being a nuisance to his family, and the schadenfreude/duper's delight is getting in the way. More so how is he always able to record his tantrums from a preferable angle and if his meltdowns (tantrum) were in fact real he would have broken his phone or devices by now as seen in the proper officer Bentley arrest cam. He seems to throw things smash his hands against his head and slams objects and in a real meltdown like the kind that he fakes he would have no control over where his device ends up yet it never gets broken or a least not nearly as often as they should. Unfortunately I think that Tawm lacks the testicular fortitude to tell Amby that he can't come back and live with them. And most of the time, Amby's "running away" is just him calling the police while taking a walk.

I've treated many an autistic person in my years on this planet, but the only autistic person I've ever known (that I know of) is an autistic guy I met on Reddit that I've been conversing with via DM for probably a year now. He's a very nice guy, probably the nicest guy that I've ever met on Reddit! I told him about Andrew Ditch, and he's started following the Amby subreddits and the guy already hates Amdy. (No idea if he's posting there, but it's probably a matter of time lol!)

I guess my point is, that this guy could have easily went Amby's route, but instead decided to go into computer and electronics repair, and that guy underwent some pretty horrific torture at some "special school" in Massachusetts in the late 70s and early 80s. That poor guy got beaten, thrown into isolation rooms for days at a time, and even got electrocuted by "therapists" at the school, but instead of becoming some weirdo cluster B diaper fetishist suckling from the government teat, decided to find himself a career, get married, and even has an adult kid of his own! Everything Amby does is a conscious decision that he makes every day.

He has an active warrant, is banned from Kenmore Mercy Hospital, and possibly also Sisters of Charity Hospital. It's especially obvious they wanted him gone, because the warrant is non-extraditable, which effectively serves as a modern-day banishment.


Tawm and Joh don't want him back either, and they know now if Amby comes back, all three of them will be homeless, because Amby will get the house condemned.

The biggest reason that he's not coming back, however, is that he has no chance of ever getting as many services from NY as he does from PA. After his 27th OPWDD denial, he can't reapply, nor get a Fair Hearing to demand the right to reply, unless he can produce a comprehensive evaluation that demonstrates that he was diagnosed with autism prior to age 22. Andy's original contention is that falling off his bike and hitting his head at age 20 caused him to develop autism at age 31, which... obviously is neither true nor even possible. He then changed his story to he always had autism, but Tawm and Mawm lied to deny him his dino-sis.

the consistent thing in how he acts is he's an intimidator, he always tries to scare people with threats into giving him what he wants, and the 2nd thing is that he never wants his aggression to look aggressive, he wants plausible deniability.

and i think the ASD grift covered those very effectively. "i'm severely disabled" granted him both the ability to intimidate people with threats of criminal neglect, and plausible deniability where any time he was aggressive or mean-spirited, he could claim it was a result of feeling strong emotions he had no control over. (and, in classic manipulator fashion, if you made him feel upset, he can claim his unreasonable behavior is your fault)

modern social media likes to radicalize people because it feeds into making you stay on for longer, so it doesn't surprise me that after (allegedly) becoming obsessed with online videos about ASD, he started to have an increasingly grandiose and unrealistic understanding of it

the other big factor is i think this particular grift is especially embarrassing for him. he's very clearly invested in the image of a severely disabled person, and he very obviously compares himself to a baby regularly, but he also clearly wants to maintain an image he is proud of. take for example how all the ai generated images of himself tend to make his facial features look more attractive. it's hard to imagine because to an outsider everything he is lying about having seems undesirable, but i think to him it feeds into an image he wants to maintain. and i think the big factor there is that if he *does* admit to this grift, it's very embarrassing for him. "I am an adult pretending to be a baby" is a severe condemnation, so it gives him a great incentive to throw tantrums instead of ever changing his ways.

i would call that one of the most tragic things about the whole story. i think the lying about being disabled thing led to him being way more set in his ways. (i don't think he would've been likely to change either way, but i just think it's unrealistic to call anyone 'incapable' of change)
