She's consistently said her sobriety date is the day after the front yard throwdown body cam (well, not how she phrases it). Now she's saying she's been sober since Florida? It seems like she did have a brief sobriety scare while Salina was in the picture, but it didn't last. The lewd and lascivious behavior with a minor occurred while Salina was in the picture (though at her own wedding, which Alex did not attend).

Noah has filed an objection to the home study report's recommendations. It sounds like he's only seen and is referring only to the recommendations from his own side of the report (i.e., with no reference to whatever such a report may have said about Alex). Basically, he's unhappy with what the report said about how he should have supervised visits only, and he's asking the judge to take this into account when he (she?) considers the report's recommendations. The judge hasn't actually ruled yet, so it's recommendations he's objecting to, not an actual ruling.

I generally agree that his filings have been decent for not having legal representation, but I hope he considers it at this point. A contentious child custody battle is not something to entrust to Atty. ChatGPT.

The professionals in charge of these things are completely unaccountable so they tend to do a terrible job. It doesn't actually matter to them so they just wing it, most of them have degrees in social work and can be safely assumed to be on the extreme end of liberal politics. Alex being in a wheelchair probably counted for a lot, if the typical sort of person performed the home study. It is basically unheard of for a judge to deviate from a sole expert recommendation in family court. They charge enormous sums for their "work" and there isn't a legal way to not pay them, or make an actionable complaint about their professionalism. The only thing you can do with a bad report is pay for another report and hope it says the opposite thing and then present it, but that is obviously only an option for someone with a lot of cash.
Family court is designed to juice money out of people going through the worst stress of their lives. It's deplorable. I think somewhere in this thread I said they make the wrong decision as a rule rather than the exception, and here we are. I hope that ari and noah get to mend their relationship when alex dies. He just needs to stay sober until then.
Small note regarding court documents (that I probably should have stated more clearly at the outset): the home study results are not posted on the court site. There's no indication of what Alex's did or didn't say. We only know that Noah's was completed because he objected to it, and we can only infer the findings because of what he submitted. I doubt Alex's says "this home is a bunch of drunken hotheads who shouldn't have custody of a pet rock," but, for all we know, it might. It's also possible that hers hasn't been completed yet, since I doubt she's particularly compliant.
I'll keep an eye on the Broward site, but I don't know if the home study will be made available or if it remains under seal (or whatever the correct term is for "judge's eyes only").

I genuinely don’t understand how Alex continually denies Noah his right to contact with Ari based on her supposed concerns that he will violate her privacy, while she also plasters her all over the internet all day every day. She made the kid an instagram account, for fuck’s sake. Ari has no privacy and it has fuck all to do with Noah.
