Would she be less “folded in half” if she used her foot plates and a chest strap?

Yes. She needs those additional supports to do what her muscles can't do. The foot drop in particular is entirely her own fault for refusing to use those plates. Pregnancy also did a number on her, and she had to stop her Evrysdi once the doctor found out she was pregnant.

Speaking of Evrysdi, she's out due to an "insurance thing."

People have been calling her out for ages for her claims that Evrysdi works instantly and reverses existing damage.

Salina, per her own stories, has already left:

Sounds like all the thirsty men in Chantal's DMs are also sliding into Alex's.

Also, I wonder if now that Ari is talking a lot, Alex is scared Ari will be a kid and jabber about stuff and say something Alex doesn't want public. Or is it just my kid that blasts my business to everyone?
Oh its definitely not just yours- mine cant keep a secret to save her life and never shuts up.

That's a good point though- maybe thats one of the contributing factors to why they pulled her out of daycare. Kids tell their teachers alllllll about their home lives. It wouldn't surprise me if Alex starts talking about Ari delaying starting school or even potentially home-schooling with the facade of "Caring about my daughter" but really just wanting to keep her away from the public so they cant see the product of her shit home life.

Also now I cant stop snickering about the idea of Alex home-schooling, but its definitely up her alley of trying to boast about it. "Im disabled and had a baby! Of COURSE I can home-school her!"

I also think she's gonna play like she saved up her incipient down payment by painting her lil disabled heart out, not by her parents selling the lake house. She hasn't mentioned them selling the lake house at all - obviously it could be because it's her parent's business and not something to blast online, but I suspect strongly they'll quietly sell the house and suddenly Alex will have a house down payment that she "scrimped and saved" for or some such nonsense. In fact, depending on what kind of equity they had in the lake house, they might outright buy her a house. I could see that, too.

In fact, if Alex wasn't such a horrible human, I'd probably praise the family for having a "plan" for their disabled daughter to live independently (as much as possible). But she's never going to admit "Mommy and Daddy bought me a house" or paid her down payment - she will absolutely be taking all the credit if it happens. Even if she has BTJ/Drunk Dad as a cosigner (which she'd likely need)

It would make sense to buy their disabled daughter a house while everyone is alive - a living inheritance, perhaps?
I’m sure they were hoping she would fuck off with Noah and she would continue harassing minors and clubbing until she fell out of her chair drunk one too many times. Then she would just become FB asspat fodder for her mom, and also a way to complain about “grandparent alienation”.
But since she’s sticking around and has reproduced, I would not be surprised if they are offering to pony up for the house.
I bet they weren’t expecting to sell their lake house, though! Gotta do what you gotta do when your spawn burned through all that money for lawyers!

As soon as I saw that post about the lake house I knew why.

I have no idea of pricing in that area but it’s seems super cheap to this Californian. Priced to sell so they can get that house for Alex?

I wonder if Alex believes that the pace of her sales will keep up so that she can make mortgage payments (if they don’t cash buy) and continue to live? I don’t know but it seems that eventually the supply of people who want ugly paintings will disappear. People online seem to have no brains so I don’t know. I have hobbies I’m bad at, should have had the foresight to monetize them.

Wow, the old ladies are really falling for the new house grift and buying up all of her shitey paintings.
I have to hand it to her, when it comes to grifting she is unmatched.

since respiratory viruses are the main cause of death in SMA patients, homeschooling would probably cut down on the number of colds in the household each year and could be justified for that reason. Kids can socialize outdoors with a lot less germ transfer & the climate in her area means that is possible year-round. If she goes that route she is going to get a whole new batch of haters though, as it is still a pretty small minority of people who do home schooling and you get attacked for it by the far larger number of women who work in schools. Is being hated upon part of her brand? does is help her sell stuff?

You can't convince me she's sober in this video, when she talks slightly slower and more slurry than usual and make these passive aggressive clap backs I refuse to believe she is sober.
Compare her voice to the video underneath, it's such a difference to me.

Or we can just give Ari to the parent who doesn't have SMA.

Ok I'm not understanding why is Alex trying to buy a new house? Like seriously what's the point? She still needs her parents to live.

I'd really like to know the full story behind this myself. It's really obvious that they're trying to unload the lake house so that Alex can "buy" the house, but why? Alex's parents have every chance of outliving Alex, and Alex can't do anything for herself (truth, not ablism). She also shouldn't be left alone with Ari, particularly right now, when Ari is so small. People will instantly phonebook any new location and will call DCFS to report that she's alone with a helpless child, and that won't be viewed as acceptable or safe (because it isn't). What's Alex's mom going to do, just move in with Alex and leave her dad alone in the existing house? And why does Alex think she needs such a big house? More High Noon storage?

The whole thing is dumb.

Anyway, Instagram stories:

I'm not saying that disabled people in general shouldn't have kids, but I'm sure as hell saying that ALEX DACY should not.

I was out for like 2 weeks and I feel as if I was out the thread for 2 years.
Ok, so, tinfoil hat on. I see two possibilities:
1. Alex is mentally 10 years old or her family is mentally 10 years old and they simply got bored of the old house. I know this sounds stupid but those are lolcows.
2. They ruined the house (very likely) but it's not obvious from the outside. Like they got mold and they painted over it so they just run away from the house.
I'm wrong probably though.

I wonder if she's getting sick of this art grift yet?
She will as soon as people stop buying.

I know I'll be told off again lol, but it's because the house they live in is a mess. It's hoarded out or not accessible or in a constant state of construction or any combo thereof. Buying Alex a new house probably circumvents all the issues the home inspection is concerned about, and
What's Alex's mom going to do, just move in with Alex and leave her dad alone in the existing house?
Yes. Exactly this. I don't think BTJ and Drunk Dad likes each other that much. I'm thinking they'll stay married because it's more convenient, but yeah definitely I see BTJ essentially moving in at Alex's new place. And they aren't just selling the current home because it's not at all buyer-ready and they need to move fast here for custody reasons.
I wonder if she's getting sick of this art grift yet?
She paints the same shit over and over and pumps them out so quickly - can't imagine she isn't bored yet. But yeah, they only take 35 mins. She can do two a day of complete slop, knowing quality counts for nothing, and still have plenty of time to scroll the Internet and ignore Ari at least 8 hrs a day.

Ok maybe not hoarding because hoarding can be fixed so I'm leaning more into mold or other construction damage.

I don’t give a shit if a disabled person has a kid.
I give a shit when a child is left in the “care” of a sloppy pedo who can’t even hand her kid a cup or fetch her kid something without help. What are you gonna do if she is ill in the night, Alex? Shout to her to stop dying and come lift up Mommy? Fucking stupid.
Unless she is hiring an overnight carer, drunk-ass grandma is moving in!

Hoarding is fixable, yeah, depending on the severity, but it can cause or exacerbate other issues. Mold, you mentioned, can be big if anything with moisture was in the pile, and you get rodents and bugs and all sorts of gathered dust and nastiness. I won't harp on the hoarding thing because I know it pisses certain people off, but I still absolutely think it could be a part of the problem. Even just one hoarded-out room in an otherwise ok house can take weeks to clean and clear.

My current bet their most "accessible" bathroom is in a bad state. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought bathroom(s) were specifically mentioned by Alex herself? Something about a hole in the floor? I'm wondering if they don't have moisture damage in at least one bathroom that Drunk Dad has attempted to fix. Wonder if they're growing mushrooms.

I know, I know, speculation. And I admit I could be wrong. Alex is just so cagey about the house. . .
