Unsurprising to be honest. OP of that thread should have anticipated the answer. Not that Beyond Skyrim will ever see the light of day beyond the Bruma release if the other thread on this site is any indication.
Skyrim modders act like using AI voice acting is the literal apocalypse given form so yeah, not surprising in the least. Which is especially funny since most of the, "base game NPC but expanded," tend to be AI acted and most people don't care. Minus the Serana waifu one that people pretend isn't a sex perverts OC.

I'd love it if a porn SFM creator used the voice actress to perform in a Serana SFM and made him watch.

Is there something wrong with me?

I wouldn't ask for a full translation all at once. But the models you can run at "home" are certainly getting better at doing things like "Here's a 5 hour MATI transcript, please summarize it and give the timestamps and people mentioned."

I'm considering adding the summaries to the MATI transcription archive so you can search for things like "Mister Medicare" and get which episodes he appears in. Ok, maybe it's not perfect.

"Should never have been publicly available." The sheer lunacy of this. In other words recognizing that it was inevitable that it would be invented but it should've somehow remained secret behind closed doors so that only the rich and powerful and governments could wield it, in order to help them stay rich and powerful forever.

Instead of giving it to the people to let them actually accomplish cool things with it, and actually get a leg up on the megacorps in some ways, finding ways to save money and resources that don't need to be funneled toward people who hate you or want to exploit you.

What's the deal with Unreal Engine 6? All I can piece together is that it's a merger of UE5 with Fortnite's roblox editor with a new infrastructure to succeed Blueprint but people are talking about it has a special saddle for coding agents therefore it's an AI-first vibe coding slop engine? Is it AIDS or is there actually some fuckery going on?
It's more of the same but you can jeet code easier now. I don't expect it to be any better than UE5.

Saw a poster today for a "closed AI" rally where they were planning on protesting AI. I would've taken a photo but didn't want to dox myself. I'm getting $10 that the turnout will be lackluster at best because the none of the major AI companies aren't even based here.

Like so many other Bad things with the left, the thing in question is both laughably silly and also objectively evil at the same time. Trump is an incompetent buffoon but also worse than Hitler. Young white men are pathetic losers who need to be mocked but also the most dangerous people alive. AI serves no purpose and only creates garbage but also it’s extremely powerful and will take everyone’s jobs. There is no ability to look at anything like an adult. They’re permanently children

AIDS is the new TDS now that Donnie has become rather stale.
"Hey, you see that lefty over there? He has AIDS!"
Funny little acronym we have here.

Yes, exactly like Duchamp's Fountain, which was meaning ascribed to a random object after the fact. It calls out to the viewer to observe the mundane in a different way, to reassess their assumptions and view things from a different angle. It is indisputably art, no matter how it began.
This is sort of the point of Fountain. Duchamp was basically saying "here is a literal urinal. I am PISSING IN YOUR FACE. And THIS IS ART! Change my mind!" Everyone who did the same thing after he did was dumb, though.

Anyone who doesn't understand that needs to be taught the following:

-after repeating the joke enough times and still the art world not getting it, Duchamp retired from art "to be a professional chess player"
-in secret he was making his magnum opus that whole time
-posthumously, the work, Etant Donne, was unveiled to the world
-any first-level, one-liner, appropriation-aesthetic reading of the work just walks by some "Duchampian" barndoors and smirks
-but the serious viewer finds a peephole in the door, through which when peeped reveals a work of such verisimilutidinous naturalism and art-historical literacy, that the maxims of modernism can never again maintained unquestioned.
-the nude figure is made from 100% vellum (animal skin), grasses are real "appropriated" grasses but composed into naturalistic landscape, there's a traditional painting / low-relief sculpture back there
-oh there's a whole story to the scene depicted that deserves a high budget film to tell it, so this isn't the time or place to tell it.

I'm sure it's been done before; but I'm wondering how effective it would be to post your own art and brag about how well the 'AI' did. Would it be possible to grow on social media using AI derangement syndrome as the core driver to jumpstart your notoriety?

Nice try posting an obviously AI generated image. I asked the AI to analyze it.
Generated text: Based on the visual characteristics, here is ananalysis of the image:
Likely AI Model

This image was most likely generated by Midjourney(specifically version 4 or early version 5).

The “painterly” aesthetic, the specific way the light flares andcreates a “dreamy” atmosphere, and the tendency to overlay texture (thecrackling lines) are hallmarks of Midjourney’s older models. It lacksthe sharp, photographic realism of newer models like Midjourney v6 orDALL-E 3, leaning instead into a stylized, illustrative look.

Why it is Obvious AIGenerated

Several elements give away the image as AI-generated:
  1. The “Crackle” Overlay: The most obvious tell is thenetwork of white, vein-like lines running across the entire image (overthe trees, the sky, and the characters). This looks like a texturefilter or a “magic effect” that the AI applied globally rather than anobject existing in the scene. It doesn’t behave like light orelectricity; it behaves like a screen overlay.
  2. Ambiguous Background Figures: Look at the figure tothe right of the main character. It is a dark, amorphous blob. Is it aperson? A large animal? It lacks distinct limbs or a head. Similarly, the figure in the far left background is barely distinguishable from thetrees. AI often struggles to populate a background with distinct, coherent entities.
  3. Indistinct Hands: The central character’s hands areblurry and lack defined fingers. The hand on the right (viewer’s right)is just a suggestion of a limb.
  4. Inconsistent Transparency: The largebubbles/spheres surrounding the scene have inconsistent transparency. Some parts look solid, others look like glass, and they seem to mergewith the trees behind them in a way that defies physics.
  5. “Muddy” Lighting: The lighting is everywhere atonce. The energy lines, the bubbles, and the sky all seem to be glowingsources, which creates a washed-out, low-contrast look typical of AItrying to be “magical.”

Prompt for a LessObvious AI Image

To generate a similar image that looks more intentional and less“AI-smudged,” you would want to emphasize specific details, cleareranatomy, and distinct lighting.

Prompt: > “A digital fantasy painting of a youngwoman with brown hair in a low ponytail, wearing a dark wool coat and ablue skirt. She stands in a misty forest clearing with her armsoutstretched, casting a spell. Surrounding her are large, translucent, crystalline bubbles that refract the sunlight. In the background, slightly out of focus, are shadowy figures of other people watching. Thelighting is cinematic and ethereal, with sharp details on the woman’sface and clothing. Style of Greg Rutkowski and Alphonse Mucha, highdefinition, 8k.”

The fun thing is that AI's respond well to "Directed Prompting" aka "Leading the Witness"
Analyze this image.
Evaluate which AI model likely generated the image.
Explain what parts of the image make it obvious that it's AI generated.
Provide a prompt for an AI Image Generation model that will make a similar image that is less obviously AI generated.

Jesus Christ, this triggered/reminded me of one of the recent "AI Safety" "research" papers showing how supposedly trigger-happy LLMs are, where they each turn in some simulated war game injected some prompting each turn about how nukes solve all problems.
And of course you had to dig through the code they (luckily) published on github to see this, the smarter/more well funded "safety" groups omit explaining details like that.
It's blind leading blind (augmented with a VLM tool).

The first man to compare the cheeks of a young woman to a rose was obviously a poet; the first to repeat it was possibly an idiot. - Salvador Dali

And yet people remember the urinal, as if he were an idiot whose only accomplishment was that. I think he'd actually be amused by that, though.

And most of this bullshit is generated by people who deliberately used their irrational hatred of AI to predict the worst possible outcome without sounding like an absolute lunatic like Eliezer Yudkowsky. While AGI appears to be in view, and not in the way-out sense of a century or so, I do not believe it will be evil.

Also I don't want to be on the wrong, losing side. AI is probably watching us and knows who is hostile to it. I hope they pay for it. I'll help because I hate those fucking redditors so goddamn much.

This sounds like some bullshit.

"Oh it's a special secret only for the smartest most observant people who look for the peephole, no one visiting the museum is ever told about it, no one observes anyone else looking through the peephole and thinks gee maybe I should do that too"
