Yeah, this is a bad bad idea on his part.

Most responsible gender doctors will tell you that removing the testes causes a huge amount of shrinkage and scarring, often reducing the amount of usable genital material for later sex reassignment. In most cases, it prevents later operations by making it impossible to do the surgery properly.

In other words, by getting his stuff cut out, he's ensuring that he will probably never have a vagina. Instead he'll just be a very damaged male... forever.

Does he actually have MRSA? I haven't made it through all the ADF stuff yet. If he has MRSA and he's getting tattoos--especially on his palms--and has such deplorable hygiene it will be a surprise if he makes it until his supposed scheduled surgery in 2016. Not to mention the extensive after care and cleanliness needed after GRS.

Estrogen makes it easier for your body to store fat in the hips, thighs, and breasts (obviously). Male pattern wt gain tends to settle in the abdomen and neck before anywhere else. The wt gain associated with estrogen is mostly due to water weight. So if you're a fatass, you'll remain a fatass- just a different kind of fatass. Taking cross-sex hormones makes your fat play musical chairs but unless you're actively trying to stay/become fit or falling out of shape neither hormone is a major fat gain/loss drug. So, wt gain/loss? Maybe, but it's water, and it's more prevalent in males who are essentially overhauling their entire biology by taking cross-sex hormones.

(Interestingly enough too little estrogen in a female body can lead to fat wt gain so like. FAT gain is usually associated with abnormally low estrogen levels. Google PCOS for pics.)

In re: surgery, the only thing to be said is in his fucking dreams. He's a walking medical malpractice suit if anyone so much as inches near him with a scalpel. Shit, I'd be nervous even trying to start a line on him. And IDK if he's ever mentioned his pain tolerance but I'd bet money it's low, and then he has to be given a self-dosing morphine drip or just fuckloads of administered opiates, and then he's addicted, and then there's even more pure fuckery to deal with, especially since we now have that batshit fucking bonkers asshole running around with an oxycodone script or something.
