To be honest, if "hateful slurs" was indeed the reason for Phil's partnership ban and it's not just a catch-all reason, I have to wonder how the fuck it took them so long to do it.

Phil has been saying some nasty shit to his viewers for years and years. Remember when he said that a guy should jump off a cliff? I just imagined that that shit flew under Twitch's radar, since people reported him and nothing happened.

My guess is something changed within Twitch. They demonetized Amouranth, right? Maybe they just decided to cull down certain types of streamers, and Phil was one of them.

I think he's reading the email they sent him over the previous day's suspension, and claiming it was for the departnering since he knows full well that was or breaking the upload clause.

Unless there are publicly viewable tweets that mention twitch support, there is no way Phil sent his puny wimpy manifesto video to twitch

Another thought: the fact that according to Phil the reason for the termination was slurs and the fact that he wasn’t outright banned tells me that it could be more of an issue of advertiser unfriendliness, so the demonitization is to appease advertisers.

He finished the video and immediately said 'That's it, videos done. I hope people DO send that to Twitch.' He wants his pay-pigs to do it for him.

The whole fucking rant and ultimatum is so dumb when you put more than four seconds thought into it:

'Give me my partnership back and make a public apology or I am never coming back to stream on Twitch'

- You've just streamed on Twitch without a partnership for a few weeks, raking in thousands of dollars without Twitch taking a cut or you having to pay a single cent to host your content there. They let you stay and shake your little cup on their business premises without asking anything back or kicking your ass to the curb.

- They booted you out their monetisation scheme, they clearly don't want or need the revenue you bring in. What benefit is it to them to let you back in, especially as you have been pushing your fans for months to line PayPals pockets first.

- You don't have enough clout to lead some mass exodus of people away from Twitch. You've just spent two weeks crying and scared that you wouldn't be able to convince your own fans to follow you to YouTube.

His ultimatum basically reads as such:

'I want you to give me some of your money and say sorry to me otherwise I will just go away and leave you alone'.

I don't know about that.
Dave is a notorious liar, yes, but he usually is bad at it and can't act for shit.
In all of his overblown ego and delusions, he genuinely looked as if he was pissed at Twitch.

The absolute State of this man :stress:

The email he ready mentioned "Multiple hateful slurs". Suggesting that this was not just the one case over the weekend
Yes, Phil said something that we have no proof of. And you automatically believe it? Yeah, hes a terrible liar. But this wouldnt be a hard one to pull off and is well within his capabilities to pignotize the cult.

Or has this email been seen/shown and I missed it? I was legitimately wondering this last night and avoided delving into it too much cuz I figured if an image of it existed, Id see it at some point.

On an unrelated note, how badly do you guys think Dave would struggle if he was forced to play a Total War game or Europa Universalis IV/Stellaris/Endless Space (1 or 2)? I'm asking because I just recently lost a 260~ turn game of TW: Warhammer 2 and it damn near broke my heart thinking of all the hours I burned just to get my teeth kicked in.
God, that would be amazing. I've become more of a single player campaign player the last few years, but I used to only play games like this. CK2 got the most hours, and it did not explain anything. Just the basic concept of what land you own takes HOURS to understand. (or im just an idiot) I had to do so much reading outside the game just to try to figure it out. DSP won't even read tutorials or tips menus in game.

He gets through most games just by banging his head against the wall until he gets through, something that would absolutely not work here. My guess is that it'd be the absolute most boring stream to watch live, but would make some great highlight videos

Now I want to ditch JRPGs and buy and put 500 hours into CK3, thanks.

I'm like 97% sure he said the "fag" word in one of his gin soaked marathons while streaming on twitch. If I recall it was during a rant on youtube's management. "I never, ever said a hateful slur on your platfurm, ever. I'm not having it. If I did, prove it", is what he said in his open autistic rant to twitch. Such a thing could probably be easily proven, too bad I'm a mentally ill detractor and must be talking out of my butt.

oh wait

Phil asking for a public apology from Twitch is just a poor attempt at powerleveling to those under the pignosis.

If given the chance, he’d run straight back to a Twitch partnership.

I just find it funny that he keeps pointing out how his streams on YouTube are at better quality simply to flex how phasitive this change was for the best, while at the same time reminding his paypigs that the stream preview on his laptop is choppy.

Wasnt his depart. from Twitch the same day that they yeeted Destiny as well? Could be some truth to the timing, for sure.

Also, funny that he always goes right to the degeneracy on twitch (cuz hes married, you see) when he spites them. But this takes place the same day they demon. Amouranth lol

It’s funny how during Phil’s entire little rant he never once mentioned his “family” and how people have jeopardized that...

Also funny how Phil always brings up “the law”, or his retarded understanding of “the law” to prove he is correct.

Also funny how Phil’s big angry reaction to this grave injustice is an angry email.

Phil demanding an apology from twitch is such a boomer move, the equivalent of berating a macdonalds employee before flouncing out with a 'I'll take my buisness elsewhere!' as if they care at all.
He seems to get that way when he's legit upset, which, in this case, is probably because he spent years running from his old image, and feels like it was a huge waste if he's getting de-partnered for something Young Phil would get in trouble for. Also, it doesn't take much for Phil to feel entitled to victory, and being able to avoid losing his partnership over alleged hateful slurs is definitely on the list of things he would consider victorious on his part. And an important victory for him too, as is evidenced by the dedication he has shown to being Puritan Phil. You have to admit, he has put effort into that act, a lot more than you'll ever see him put into anything else. It HAD to have meant something to him, it HAD to have mattered that he run away from Young Phil and his chicky-chang-wang talk.

I can easily see why he genuinely calls this bullshit. He didn't actually turn a new leaf, but he's Phil, so his perception is off by default, and so I can easily see him really believing otherwise as well. His head is not filled with memories of the times he fucked up or contradicted himself or didn't really sell his act, it only keeps the information that it needs in order to protect his feelings. So when he ranted and raved, he was only thinking about all the effort he went into restraining himself from using the n-word and acting like a complete Pepe Le Pew-esque motherfucker any time tits' n ass were even remotely on display.

Basically, Phil, in Phil's view, was being a good little boy and Ma Burnell still put him in time out. As for how I feel about that being some kind of injustice, it depends on whether Twitch actually did that, and what examples they're actually using of Phil's past remarks on stream. Obviously I find it hard to believe because if they just really want to get rid of Phil, they obviously had the much easier route of taking advantage of his impatience and nailing him over the 24-hour exclusivity clause that he spent years thumbing his nose at willfully. NOBODY was going to call that controversial, unlike him supposedly using hateful slurs to the extent that he needed to be de-partnered.

You could hear him typing a response email for a good few minutes on his other computer during the stream when he said this.

Man if he was really furious as he said he was and he said was about to punch something in sheer frustration, he should have been pounding that keyboard hard as hell, sending multiple support emails to Twitch and all their departments, getting in contact with a lawyer, creating a new branding/marketing initiative to give a better impression of his public image in the future, seriously anything else that he could have channeled that angst into something productive, but no, he whimpered off into his small little corner, came back with his glasses on, and attempted to start playing the game as if nothing ever happened to him just moments ago.
