Oh I agree but I might let it slide with Jets since most people don't live near a old-school Detroit style pizza joint and they do a good job. But unless a pizza joint has good beer or wine I just don't get not taking it home. Unless it's like a woodfired thing where you really want it right out of the oven. Let alone for a chain place with zero atmosphere.

I know of Jet's, pretty much every location I can think of you really just order the pizza to go; dining in a pizzeria is just fucking retarded and only idiots like Jack want to do that.

Every Jet's I have been to has always been in a small strip mall front with no seating and if there is its for when you wait for your order to be ready.

It doesn't need to be much bigger. It also fits the old Detroit style since they were made from the crates for auto parts and often were eaten because you spent a long day at the plant. It not having seating makes sense.

Jack is all about the chains. And personally I don't get it especially when it comes to pizza. When we get one it's from the little Mom & Pop place that's been servicing the area for the past 50 years. There's a reason why people go there and not the Domino's down the street.

Mom and Pop pizza places are extremely hit or miss. Like, the one I used to get one from every other week was run by an old as fuck Hmong couple who made 'authentic' Greek pizza just like their Grandmama used to make in the Old Country. I loved that place, obviously with how much I went there, but all my friends but one hated it. My family when I took them there once when they were visiting hated it.

But since I moved away from the city that that pizza place was in, I can't find anybody near me that I love. Everybody's crust is too crispy, or there's too much toppings, or blah blah bitch bitch. But at least the chain places like Pizza Hut or whatever is doable.

Except Jet's. That's the first and only food I got sick off of because of how greasy it was, holy fuck. Of course Jack liked it, the strawberry-frosting-for-blood mother fucker.

you won't run into jack at any restaurants in nashville. in the past year he's only done two restaurants there: paula deen's and pie town tacos, which was a pop-up stand. i don't even see any nashville spots that he reviewed in 2019, so it's safe to say he almost never ventures into the city of nashville for whatever reason. all his reviews take places in its northern suburbs like hendersonville, white house, madison, and goodlettsville. your best chance at finding him is at a strip mall "american" restaurant in hendersonville

and he definitely won't be going back to slim and husky's. it's a black owned business in a black neighborhood, so i'm surprised he even went there in the first place. definitely check it out though, it was the best pizza i had in nashville for sure. i think they might have a few more locations now too
