Tinslee is mentally normal, right? So it's not like she's a zombaby with only reflex reactions. That's why I think she's one of the worst cases covered in this thread.

I'm actually reading some of the court documents now & basically...her brain is fine, but in order to basically prevent her body (or any action a child her age might do) from killing her, they have to keep the poor thing paralyzed 24 hours a day. She's pharmacologically paralyzed in order to keep her alive, but she can feel pain, is my understanding. That's why many nurses refuses to work with her, because at this point, treatment isn't being done for Tinslee, but to Tinslee and that (understandably) does not sit well with them. Her condition is so bad that no other hospital will accept her.
Who knows what will happen? Texas is a huge right to life state, though even some of the more moderate anti-abortion groups are against keeping her alive. Her mother keeps saying the media isn't reporting to truth, Tinslee is a happy baby, but I don't know if she's the same as Mama Nails (Jahi's mother) or just heavily in denial, though I tend to think it's somewhere in between.
My hope for Tinslee would be that she just slips away and they can't bring her back. For as much as her mother claims God has a bigger plan for Tinslee, that God will heal her...I think God has called her home multiple times but her mother doesn't see it that way for some reason.

It's because a lot of people who claim to believe in God's plans also tend to claim that those plans very conveniently line up with whatever it is they want to happen. It's a mechanism to deny reality. Which is kind of understandable in this case, since no mother wants to admit that their child would be better off dead, but it's also a damaging and ultimately self-defeating mindset. I've seen it work against more than a few Christians in my time.

That would just be the best end for that poor kid. Her parents are just making her suffer through an existence that knows nothing except for pain and suffering because her parents want their child alive. Its a terrible situation all around and its not like she is a brain dead kid being used for dress up like some of the moms in this thread.
Best case scenario is that she contracts an infection and her body gives out and she can finally be at peace.

A few things from Sarah, whining about her inside out baby, bragging about harassing women trying to get healthcare, and again trying to blame her baby being inside out on supposedly having a previous abortion (when cocaine use is the only known risk factor for limb body wall complex)

She's said that she think it might've survived if she was in a "life-affirming" state. AFAIK there has only been one case of survival for limb body wall complex, earlier in this thread someone posted a paper on a Japanese case where a combination of cutting edge medicine, creativity, and luck saved the kid (though barely since the paper mentioned the kid constantly almost dying from infections and shit). While that case was promising I can see why limb body wall complex is still considered incompatible with life.
I don't know if Sarah has ever posted pics of what her baby looked like in full, and I wouldn't be surprised if she hasn't because something reminiscent of the end of Akira doesn't make the best propaganda for convincing people to carry these things to term.

That's interesting, though it looks like that kid might not have been as severe as the other ones. Like it looks like the opening in his side is small compared to the guts everywhere exploded looking horror shows. Idk.
Either way it sounds like with trisomy 13 or 18, yeah a few might survive but most die shortly after birth if they make it that far.
Had he been born in the First World, he'd look a lot more normal by that age. His cleft palate and clubfeet would have been corrected, and his chest wall would have been properly closed.

Yeah on the FB page she talks about going to temple and shit. Not surprised Mormons are having fucked up doomed spuds and acting like it's a blessing since I know they aren't big on abortion either.
I mean you do you, but personally I quirk an eye at declaring a fucked up baby that didn't even live 5 hours is proof of God existing.

Dude, I fucking hate these channels, I really do. They’re either an outside production team coming into a desperate family’s life and recording their seizuring Siamese twins born with cleft foots, or these delusional parents parading their child on the internet for praise/money/idfk.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t love your disabled child or even that you should have them all euthanized when you receive the report that they’ll be born with some deformity, but please don’t put them on the internet. At best, you’re giving trolls something to laugh at, and at worst, you’re exploiting a debilitating deformity for some sort of compensation (you’re going to your own personal hell if you do this).
Also, it’s a trend of these production companies coming in and doing a story on something they know is fucking strange, but hiding behind the facade that what they’re doing is “inspirational”, sort of in the vain of those “hoarder” type shows, but cranked up to an 11.
There’s probably only one channel I’ve seen done this well, Special Books by Special Kids, but it’s only because this guy seems like he genuinely cares, and he has actual conversations with these children.

SBSK has always struck me as super patronizing. Plus he absolutely is just putting on a modern freakshow like the rest of them.
That said it's nowhere near as bad as Fathering Autism or the other horrorcow parents who are constantly exploiting and abusing their disabled kids.
I'd take fundies posting dead baby pics and talking about jesus any day over people exploiting and abusing living disabled kids. That shit makes me severely MOTI.
