I don't know what to say 06/04/20 - "not at the beginning stage"

I wonder if she's ever going to realize that she doesn't actually have any clue what works for her and she should listen to medical professionals. It's great that she now realizes that not going to the gyno was a mistake, but this isn't the only medical issue she has her head up her ass about.

Just to quote what all our deathfat gurls keep saying:

"No one can change overnight! Babysteps, babysteps."

Yeah when the babysteps take 20 years, this happens.
When I see comments here about how nobody deserves cancer, I'm inclined to agree until I see your avatar. Then I'm feeling some sweet sweet schadenfreude

This is what I find frustrating. With all her health issues in the last year, what she cared most: her twitching eye that needed multiple doctors opinions. Her multiple UTIs last fall were not enough for her to question the need to have health insurance. I am sure that Destiny and Dana have health insurance from their employer, Becky has Medicaid. Why these people not pester Amber into signing up for health insurance last November? She spent $7,000 last year on ill fitting Torrid clothing; she could had a really nice insurance package for that amount. This is beyond comprehension.

She is absolutely fucked without health insurance. Even without chemo or radiation (depending on whether it has metastasized or not), any sort of surgery is stupid expensive even with insurance. She wouldn’t qualify for hospital financial aid/payment assistance if she does have a little nest egg (I doubt it if she spends a thousand a month on food for just herself). She’s already been sued for skipping on other hospital bills, too. She really thought she was so clever, huh? You’re obviously not, boo boo.

I think it’s too late for her to get even life insurance. I can’t imagine the funeral costs for a 500 lb deathfat. Hope Becky knows she’ll have to pay for her own mistake of quitting what appears to be a good paying job in the area for ill fitting Hot Topic tees and wiping Big AL’s ass very very soon. Tweren’t a single brain cell between the two of them.

I don't know what to say. I feel legit feelz. This isn't a death fat disease, it's unfair. SHE S'POSED TO DIE FROM BEETUS!
Not some random thing that could happen to anyone.
Get better, Amber. Then die of something that fits.

If it makes you feel better Endometrial (uterine) cancer can be caused by obesity due to the raised oestrogen levels

As far as Destiny and Dana go: They don't give a shit about her. Signing up for health insurance might have meant she stopped giving them money. As far as Becky goes, I'd imagine Amber has given her the "I know what works for me!" song and dance enough that Becky doesn't see the point, since Amber will do whatever Amber wants.

If, by some insane miracle she survives this, I think this is the 1 event that could convince her to change the death fat lifestyle. I wish her luck, unlike a lot of other cows featured here she's not an evil person, just really sad and weak.

Maybe this is even too tasteless for here, but I wobder: What do you do with a dead body of the size of amber? I mean, a coffin is for sure no option, but do crematoria exist around her hometown / city for somebody of her size?

What could be too tasteless for here?

I explained her options in my second-ever post at the farms.

Basically, no crematory would touch her unless special arrangements (i.e. a lot of money) are made. Even then, her family may not find one. I explain it in my post I linked, but the simple answer is: far too dangerous.

She'll need a double-wide casket and a double plot.

Amber has clung to her lack of gynocological care as the cause of this. She still won't admit that her weight, lifestyle that led to her weight, her doctor shopping and her dismissal of all advice are more to blame. The gyno would have found it earlier, perhaps, but she could have prevented this.

Also, I think it is foolish to put any trust in an offhand comment by Dana's supposed best friend. Too much telephone going on for that to be credible. I doubt there could be any staging at this point unless Amber has been to appointments we don't know about.

A lot of people underestimate the role development plays in the person you become.

All of Amber's behaviours—her eating, her manipulating, her lying—are likely things she employed during childhood as a way to survive and cope and they've stuck. Yes, Amber should have sought therapy a long time ago. I'm not sure why she hasn't, but I'm reluctant to believe it's solely laziness. It's painful shit. The idea of finding a magic pill that will make it all better seems a lot more appealing. There was child there once, though. A child who could have turned out much, much differently had they not experienced the childhood Amber did. What happened to that child wasn't their fault and that child grew up to be Amber.

If she dies of cancer at thirty, having only ever lived a life of trauma and dealing with the repercussions of that trauma in the form of being over five hundred pounds and ruining all of her relationships due to her toxic behaviour...that's fucking sad, man. That's tragic.

When she cried that she wanted her mum, it broke my heart. It's a bit rich to fuck your child up for life and then decide the behaviour that is a result of your actions is too much for you.

Of course she leaves her weight out of this, fuck it, skinny people get cancer too.

She does mention it, just in relation to her fears of surviving the cancer. I'm not sure if she knows obesity is a big risk factor for uterine cancer.
