I don't know what to say 06/04/20 - "not at the beginning stage"

No, Stage II in endometrial carcinoma mean the cancer has grown to the cervix but has not yet spread to the lymph nodes. By the time lymph nodes are involved, it is already Stage IIIc.
(Each cancer has its own staging system and the meaning of stages get updated when new clinical data, especially prognosis, become available).
Any idea what this means in terms of possibly treatment?

I'll take my clock cause I didn't see this until this morning.

This news is bad enough to even an make asshole like me feel bad for Amber. Cancer is no joke. I hope that it's at least an early enough stage to be treated so she has a chance.

The end is nigh, Amber. You're going to have to fight harder than you've ever fought for anything in your life. Get your shit together. LISTEN to your doctor and do EVERYTHNG they say. STOP eating trash. Eat ONLY whole foods. Drink ONLY water. ACTUALLY FIX your sleeping schedule. Get off your ass and MOVE.

Amber has literally never fought for anything in her entire fat existance. From cradle to grave she just eats, does what she feels like, and throws a toddler fit til a responsible adult solves her problems for her. I see her just rolling over and taking this, especially with no proper way to pay for all this (MURRICA!). Once she's done blubbering and having chain panic attacks she'll do the same thing she always does. Hit the delete button on her brain and just forget about the problem, instead self medicating with shitty fast food to dull the pain and pretend the problem doesnt exist, til she just doesnt wake up one evening.

Probably just hysterectomy and pelvic lymph-node sampling. May or may not be post-op radiotherapy, but no chemo.

Acanthosis nigricans
Show me please? This is an extremely rare condition. Always mentioned in textbooks but hard pressed to find one real case.
I bet what Amber has is just filth.

Good morning, assholes!

That's interesting, I didn't know some foods weren't safe for chemo. I've had people tell me they start to lose their sense of taste while on chemo though.

Chemo fucks with your immune system and your appetite/gastro, so things like fried crap, unpasteurized crap, spicy crap - basically a lot of stuff she loves to pound down her piehole would be nonos if she had to get chemo and didn't follow the doctors' advice (which, let's face it, she probably would not).

We don’t know that it hasn’t spread!

We don't even know if she has cancer or what stage it is.

and who the fuck are you?!?!! Everybody wants their mom when they are dying having you seen saving private Ryan????? Its the common thread of humanity. Fuck off.

Calm your titties, nancypants. If she wants to talk to her mother, as she has repeatedly, and tearfully, claimed, she could contact her mother. Ain't a thing in the world stopping her. And you understand Saving Private Ryan is a fucking movie, right?

I don't think its fair for us to judge whether she "deserves it or not."

People judge. It's what they do.

actually watch the video. Al says the doctor suspected cancer and sent it in for testing specifically for that.

No. No doctor is going to tell someone "Welp, I think it's cancer!" after a procedure unless they're specifically digging around for that. They're going to tell the patient that the sample is being sent to pathology - as is routine - just as a precaution.

Wanting her mom is natural and I understand that, too.

Then she should fucking contact her mother. Goddamn, this is something that's pissing me off. All these people cooing about how heartbroken they are when she said she wanted her mommy. Well? WTF hasn't she gotten in touch with her mother at any point in all these years she's been whining about it? Because it makes her more money and gets her more asspats if she just cries about it on video. Fuck her.

Wow. I know this has been said before. But it took fucking cancer for this gorl to lose weight. And even then she fought it so hard that she started maintaining again after a 75(???) pound weight loss. I don’t see her disordered eating getting any better tho. I suspect she will panic and attempt to under eat “””starve””” herself and then prompt binging. She will probably get into a aggressive under eat/over eat cycle trying to cope with this. Because that’s how she copes with everything. She’ll probably start gaining some weight aggressively until the cancer sickness really makes her sick and she drops weight. But regardless I don’t see her weird food cycles getting better. Only worse. As she’s already setting the narrative. “My weight this. And my weight that” and while she isn’t wrong. Like I said. It will just lead to her crash dieting harder than ever before with likely binging harder than ever before.

Here's the knucks, fam. You be the judge.

I’m really excited for her next video!
We’ll probably get a more coherent Amber that probably will still be a bit emotional but atleast not as hysterical as her cancer reveal. I need more details on how she found out and ofcourse her plan to survive this etc...

I haven’t been this excited about a ALR video in quite some time!!!

She'll need a full hysterectomy with the removal of the ovaries, possibly the appendix, and part of her omentum. Then she'll likely need roughly six rounds of CarboTaxol (she will lose her hair) and radiation (possibly external AND vaginal brachytherapy). For someone her age, if she was in otherwise decent health, this would totally be treatable and beatable. Her? I don't know.

(This is if it has spread to the lymph nodes or any nearby organs. If it's just in the uterus, possibly just the surgery and maybe a few rounds of radiation. She mentioned Grade II, and that means it's worse than the typical adenocarcinoma that is Grade I and the more common one.)

The cancer is not going to kill her, she needs surgery even if it was pre cancerous from thickened lining she will need a total or partial hyst with or without cervix removal, my guess is she has cervical inflammation due to her hormones being incredibly off balance, and not to mention she stinks down there which is another sign of her cervix being trashed.
People need to understand and come out of the 60's way of thinking cancer is not a death sentence.
She is over 500 pounds and stand 5'3". She is in a very small percentile of people who need this kind of invasive surgery. Her recovery and IF she makes it through surgery without coding will be her hopefully not ding of infection.

Her death will be caused by her weight and not the cancer itself. She will either.
Code on the table.
Code post surgery from heart failure
Sepsis
Internal hemorrhaging
DVT/ Clot moved to heart, lungs or brain.
Kidney failure

She better get an advanced directive now.
Nobody wished it on her but wishing someone has cancer and saying she had it coming to her are marginally different. When a tornado is barelling down towards you, and you ignore all warnings to move out of the way, you caused what the outcome is.

Maybe this is even too tasteless for here, but I wobder: What do you do with a dead body of the size of amber? I mean, a coffin is for sure no option, but do crematoria exist around her hometown / city for somebody of her size?

wow funny you should ask that when I just now updated the poll for the "what happens when she dies" thread, check it out, there's lots of funeral discussion there :3

Welp, Becky can’t leave now. She’d look like an ass. Poor Becky.

I think her reaction is real but I don’t think she’s understanding whatever was said to her correctly.

It’s also very ironic to me that she’s been saying for years, “Im big but healthy. My doctors told me so” and then two days ago she said “my doctor told me I’m fat and dying and omg it’s so good to have someone care” to immediately after.. “it’s cancer, I’m dying”

Something is just off here. But either way, if she has it and they caught it early, she’ll be fine.

Yep. Most people who get this kind of cancer are older (post-menopausal -- I think the median age is like 65) and have a load of health issues already (obesity being the main one). Many of the deaths you see from it are because the person was already getting up there and had other issues, and the cancer/treatment was just another thing to add to the list. Many people I've heard of who died within the five-year time that they track you didn't actually die of cancer.

And yeah, she'll need roughly the same surgery Chantal had. She seemed to recover really well.
