She's young enough to have been offered the Gardasil vaccine in her teens at the OB/GYN. It is known to prevent types of HPV including genital warts and strains that are known to cause uterine cancer that you can get later in life while sexually active. 80 percent of all uterine cancers are caused by the types of HPV to which the vaccine would provide immunity. The only issue is it's a bit of a pain in the ass, you have to go back to the doctor one or two times (can't remember exactly) after the initial visit as it's given in separate shots over several months. They're totally painless and go in your arm. I could totally see Amber being too lazy to get the full rounds of this life-saving shot. It would have been covered via her parents' insurance until age 26 or by medicaid if her parents didn't have coverage through work, although the latest they recommend you get it is 22 I think.
So tl;dr there's a significant chance she got uterine cancer from unprotected sex with some dude with HPV/genital warts and refusing to get a slightly inconvenient round of cheap/free vaccinations.
More info on the vaccination and what it prevents here.
I doubt it. We're going to get more filler than we've ever seen.Chemolynn will be an interesting arc.
Polycystic ovary syndrome. It’s extremely common among obese women and this is what happens when it is untreated. Preventing this exact thing is why Chantal had to get a hysterectomy.Between Chantal and Amberlynn wtf is up with deathtrap and uterus issues?
I'm ashamed to say I am one of these women and I will be booking my first gyno appointment soon.
If chantel had to get one and she faired well then prehaps there is some hope for our gorel or prehaps I'm mistaken.Polycystic ovary syndrome. It’s extremely common among obese women and this is what happens when it is untreated. Preventing this exact thing is why Chantal had to get a hysterectomy.
Archive.I'm already annoyed with her. Out of ALL the thousands of positive comments she's getting, she picks THIS one to highlight on her Twitter:
"This has got to be one of the rudest things I have ever seen. I understand I have made mistakes in this past but this is just....sad."
We don’t know that it hasn’t spread!Okay, uterine cancer is nothing to laugh at, but at least it hasn't spread. Yes, cancer sucks. Uterine cancer sucks. But there are treatments.
Also, I don't want to be that gal, but does she have cysts? Are they malignant, or benign? I could see her hearing that she has a benign tumor or two and then taking her doctor completely out of context.
She wants her Mom?? Seriously?
Even if she doesn't actually have cancer getting the pre cancerous cells removed isn't a fun time and she's going to be in a fair bit of discomfort maybe even some pain and not to mention the hit her wallet is going to take.
With how freaked she was in her video I'd say she's probably going to become super vigilant or at least I'd hope so.Regardless of having a diagnosis or a guess, she would have been told to immediately see a specialist. I'll start feeling sympathy if she actually follows through.
No nothing yet and even just a hysterectomy is going to be complex considering her weight and other underlying health problems.Has she said what stage? Is it in her lymph nodes? If its stage one, not in her lymph nodes, they just do a hysterectomy, no other treatment
was awful believe me i watched and was more far than disgusting...
