None of the members of any foster families I lived with tried to molest me. Although I have heard it happening to foster children by foster siblings, foster parents, etc. It's unfortunate, and I do feel their heartache. I hope that Elohim avenges them.

The real irony was is that I was neglected as a foster child too LOL. They hardly noticed me. Most of the families just wanted the cash benefits of having foster children
So the logical remedy to avenge your maltreatment was to become a cumbucket kidmachine and subject your varied and sundry offspring to the Monster of the Month, as your dual pathology of religiousity and comorbid masochism dictates, then? You are truly the sickest cow on here (since the jailing of snakething)

So molesting foster children is bad, we can agree on this. But with this in mind I still question why you don't see spousal rape similarly tbh.

Well, in all fairness, I used the words VERBAL ABUSE

But, speech too, yeah...

"A fool’s words get him into fights;
yes, his mouth calls out for a beating." (Prov. 18:6)

"Verbal abuse" is a form of speech, Linda. But thanks for confirming that you think mean words deserve a response of physical violence. It's convenient when you just flatly lay out how deranged you are in simple terms you can't weasel out of.

Citing your own article IS proof. It's called an ORIGINAL ESSAY. And it's full of COMPLETE facts.

you make me laugh. Opinions aren’t facts, Melinda.

You are relying on a compulsive liar for information? He doesn't have the timeline correct. But he also knows many of you are moronic enough to believe everything he says

Did I state I believed what he was saying? I was asking a question based on the information someone put forward because your own timelines and stories don’t add up. Asking questions is the best way to verify information.

I never said I didn't love him at the beginning of the marriage. I said that I chose to marry him based on principles and THEN let the love follow. So during our Shidduch (potential marriage partner interview) I was very guarded, didn't try to make choices based on feelings or lust only. After I questioned him a lot and realized he was compatible and shared my life values, I allowed me heart to open to him.

The principle that I chose him on: That he seeks Torah and fears YHWH. He knows Elohim the way I do.

Me scared to be single? LOL, hardly. I turned down other men over the years. Especially any time one of them told me the man was "head of the house". I got cussed out by one or two of them for turning them down for not accepting their patriarchal view of The Torah. I turned down other men for other reasons too. I chose to stay single instead of parting with my principles.

Okay.

Although the above confirms my suspicions when I asked if marshal for whatever reason denounced the torah you wouldn't fuck him. If he did that and you remained married you'd call it rape.

According to Andrew you said some rather terrible things to your sister. Was that not verbal abuse too? Does she have the right to retaliate against you with violence?

No it's not. I've even explained this.

If she lives by the Torah, how come she doesn’t use the correct words for sin? Wouldn’t ‘sin’ be the pagan word for it?

No, I clearly said in previous pages that I have -- since my adolescence -- practiced something called "radical acceptance". I didn't know if what called that until a few years ago, but I just didn't it naturally. In other words, I've always accepted the cards I've been dealt in life without bitterness or being upset about it.

"Verbal abuse" is a form of speech, Linda. But thanks for confirming that you think mean words deserve a response of physical violence. It's convenient when you just flatly lay out how deranged you are in simple terms you can't weasel out of.

"Mean words" is not "verbal abuse". "Verbal abuse" is much bigger than just "mean words". Verbal abuse is a systematic process by which someone tries to break you down, demean you, insult you, criticize you, mis-judge you, etc. with words. It is ongoing and malicious, not momentarily speaking out of anger or in the heat of the moment.

If Marshall abandoned The Torah I would be morally obligated to divorce him. He wouldn't be anywhere near me, wouldn't have the chance to even sex me up.

Anything hostile I have said to an (ex-)sibling has been EYE FOR EYE. My ex-sisters are by nature provokers. During the time I knew them/spent time with them years and year ago they had unruly souls and unruly mouths.

EYE FOR EYE words are not "Verbal abuse". "Verbal abuse" is unwarranted evil speech toward a person. EYE FOR EYE is righteous. So they have no cause for righteous violence against me.

It's so nice putting the word EX in front of that. It's great that in this world you can divorce your own biological family too!!!

You want me to use Hebrew here?

You want me to use Hebrew here?

If you follow the Torah as closely as you claim, and get mad at people for “pagan ideals” then yes.

Where did I ever say I was a prophetess coming with a message in the name of YHWH

When you claimed that you were above everyone and only you could judge others (but not vice versa) several times in this thread.

Women aren't technically allowed to divorce by Torah law though so that'd be adultery, but you're already guilty of that so who would care I guess

You are still alleging that the appropriate response to words is physical violence. You really can't defend that position.

okay, that's informative. But just for the sake of argument, say you haven't yet able to go sign the divorce papers. He just told you, he has cornered you and overpowered you. You can't get away from him even as he says he's changed his mind and renounced the torah, then forces himself on you taking sex by force

Would this not be spousal rape, as you did not get a chance to legally divorce him? Would that not upset you, being forced to have sex with a man that is against the torah?

Trouble with you Linda, is that you seem to take everything as provocation. Maybe your sister was, maybe she wasn't, but your actions here getting all worked up gives me reason to disbelieve she was that provocative.

Take what you say about this thread, for example. You say its verbal abuse, but if you threw away your phone or laptop away you would have no knowledge of us talking about you. By this lack of knowledge of what we say you will no longer be able to be "verbally abused"

If you can't hear what a person is saying or read what they type, how can it affect you? Unless someone is forcing you at gunpoint to read these threads, you don't have to be here.

Melinda you’re committing a sin.
Hell, this woman doesn't even know that there's levels to transgressions. The word sin doesn't mean the same thing in Hebrew, a language she claims to know.

Let me put this in big bold letters so you don't miss it this time:
SHE WASN'T A VICTIM. So no, I haven't victim blamed her one bit. You want to ASSUME she is the victim simply because she is a woman. That reinforces your Patriarchy and internalized misogyny. You seek to make woman the "untouchable angel" (dehumanization of woman) by trying to deem "innocent" any woman who has been touched harshly by a man and then deem "guilty" or "villain" the man who did it. You want to know who here really lacks self-awareness? Take a look at you and your fellow comrades.

There is no "fact" that a person chooses abusers. It's a false theory. Abusers wear masks. They lie, charm and deceive to get involved in relationships. All the "red flags" theory is false horseshit too. It's just another way of victim blaming. NO ONE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ABUSE EXCEPT THE PERSON WHO DOES IT. That's the point.

So is your false theory of believing that if you just pick the right guy than you won't be mistreated, wronged, or abused. A complete contradiction among pagans, really. On the one hand you pagans love to say "no one is perfect" and then on the other hand you blame victims by saying they shouldn't excuse any little mishap in other's behavior or else it's their fault for that imperfect person's bad behavior that led to the break up. Your moral theories are hollow and full of holes.

Yelling is rude, Melinda. Nobody taught you any manners when you were a child?

Please stop projecting your own feelings on me in such a loud and crude manner. I already know your hatred for other women and your pathological need for being a subservient slave to your owner, so no need to yell it at me. Just so you know, when you talk to the women in this thread you project like crazy every damn time. Get therapy.

Also, did you not finish reading before this embarrassing spergout? Please read again after engaging brain.

Also, no one here said it was the person's fault for getting abused. It absolutely isn't. Victims of abuse tend to continue the circle of abuse by unconsciously choosing new abusers. Or they display certain traits (e.g. overlooking red flags, because they were conditioned to do that) which makes it easier for abusers to prey on them. That's not their fault, but it it's a fact that this happens. But you don't really care anyways unless you can use it to attack someone, so why explain this to you?

Oh, and I asked for proof not for your questionable opinion. You didn't provide any. Dismissed.

Disagree (in context of spouses). If someone constantly verbally or mentally abuses their spouse and the abused spouse cannot escape the marriage due to barriers of whatever kind, then the inevitable outcome is that the oppressed spouse is going to physically lash out. There is no way around it. An verbally or mentally abused person will eventually physically lash out when they are trapped. A physically abused spouse is likely to hit back at some point. It's part of the human will to survive.

In which case, I simply cannot pity the physically injured oppressive spouse. They provoked it.

Saying someone provoked the violence is a common term people use to blame victims for what happened to them. You're victim blaming, Melinda.

Again the word provoked. Victim blaming.

Of course it's always because you were provoked and it's never your fault. All other women are bad, except Melinda Leigh Scott. You get upset when other people think women are "untouchable angels" but you so badly want to be a virtuous, untouchable angel yourself. Typical narc behavior towards other women.

And verbal abuse does not have to be long-term. Calling someone an asshole in a discussion/argument is already verbal abuse, Melinda. (Hitting someone once is already physical abuse. It's a behavior not a process.) Everybody can be verbally abusive.

Funny she's acting all bold letters at you but doesn't give a fuck about someone calling the torah toilet paper.

Not that her "defending the torah" was all that impressive but I guess this shows where her priorities lie: it's more important to hate some ex of her husband than focus on her religion. Then again her rambling about the torah was getting old.
