What you're referring is called dry ice blasting and it's not 100% effective. However, you would need a good size chunk of dry ice contaminated with the virus to get anywhere with it. A piece that can go in your suitcase wont cut it.
How much dry ice you maybe asking yourself.
Enough for frozen foods to get from one end of the world to another.
One also has to ask themselves, how would the virus survive being turned into dry ice along with carbon dioxide due to the fact you need -78.5C to create it in the first place. By itself the older SARS virus can handle -4 to -80c.

Never mind, CO2 can deactivate coronavirus. Chinese patent on it from 2004. From there just freeze it.

Alright fuckers. Autism time. Let me explain the fantasy and the reality of this situation.
Alright so let's now pretend that speculation was 100%correct. The chinks made a synthitic virus through splicing. And it escaped their lab.
-the vaccine: splicing viri to get vaccines isn't new. It should be noted that as the other spoiler specifies, this virus has NO HIV protein though. So, the whole point of a spliced vaccine is to get a relatively safe and recogbizable capside protein from an agent we want to immunize against into a viral vector we know better so we can break that virus and get a vaccine with that protein.
So instead they tried, and failed, to insert the SPIKE protein from HIV (as in the only actually dangerous protein you shouldn't be splicing ever under any circumstance) into a virus they couldn't control at all or knew how to break afterwards, with no marker whatsoever. Now that's some real big brain moves. If this was a western lab I'd say that is 100% impossible. This is china we're talking about. They have a 10IQ advantage, so obviously I cannot predict their 4d chess intellectual moves from future people. Superpower 2020 indeed.
-detrction agent: this would mean they were trying to use corona to detect other parasites the virus might infect. Well, it is a bacteriophage, so it makes kind of sense. But you know. Rule 1 of that would be use a virus that ONLY infects what you want to detect. So this would be a cataclismic failure. Made even worse by the fact that again: IT HAS NO SELLECTION MARKERS. It's a detector you can't detect... fucking genius. Furthermore why use a class of viri (RNA viri) that are infamous for their mutation rate and capacity to infect new stuff. I mean this one just so happens to mutate less than usual. But still. RNA virus? Fucking really?! Viral vectors are used in biotech a lot. But there's a ginormous amount of layers of protection. One of which is using THE most specialized vectors only, and under huge amounts of scrutiny, even after having branded them in their own genome with markers. But of course, this is china. So who the fuck knows really. Just look at their BSL4 photos, they are abhorrent.

People need to realise the "problem" isn't the virus and never was.
It was always the political, economic and social games attached to it. Those three motivators are historically more deadly and insidious than whatever a dirty Chink could brew up in a lab.
But people find it easier to vector their rage at the fantasy of a spliced super chink flu-aids, than accept they were duped by those that are meant to be trusted, I guess.
Anyway, whilst boomer passwords and email addresses are cool, is there any info in this stuff? I mean aside from the spy novella fantasy stuff...
