Receipts for this are further back in the thread, but Cecily unashamedly said she was relieved when the first twin died. And yes, she was "angry at God" that she got sons. Cecily raged about it on her blog even though her audience was heavily (ahem) comprised of women desperate to conceive a child.
@Reggie Wanker yes she complained about having to repay the money and how unfair it was that her MIL's care would have to be paid for with her substantial assets. If Charlie had bothered learning basic math and googling estate planning and nursing homes, he could likely have minimized how much cash would have to be paid out (e.g. via clever movement of assets starting years prior - he had power of attorney for a long-ass time). But no, he achieved his goal of being unemployable and it's worked out well. I'm sure the estate taxes were avoidably massive, too.
Look, tbqh I'd comfort eat if I was Tori. Her parents have neglected her and used her as a prop since birth. They've had to flee both foreclosure and eviction in the middle of the night. They've made her a target for predators at the Philly Free School and in the ghetto neighborhoods they moved to after losing their house in a safe, family-friendly area. Kids know this shit is happening, especially with parents who have no boundaries or shame. Molestation isn't the only reason kids take these turns. It's not like she's been taught any healthy coping tools or seen anything but gluttony and sloth modeled since birth. Her life is awful enough even without that.
