Two 8-month-old pit bulls that were loose in Nanaimo attacked several children, severely injuring at least one. Other people that came to aid the children were also injured.

The children were playing in a yard at the house of one of their friends. The dogs were from somewhere else in the neighborhood and had been cited for being at large previously.

One of the owners of the dogs came and got the dogs but did not stick around. The news interviewed the other owner, a Dangerhair that looked to be in her late 40s or early 50s. While she was devastated at what her dogs had done, she said to the reporter, "People are saying, look at this from the prospective of a parent, well, these dogs are my kids, too," and then she broke down crying.

It was later reported both dogs were euthanized, as there have been other incidents prior to this one, and due to the severity of the injuries the one particular child sustained.

To the dangerhair dog owner I would have to say, "If these dogs were your KIDS, you did a lousy job of raising them. Thank heavens you didn't spawn any of your own."

Also, fleeing the scene of a dog attack caused by your dog should be a crime. Probably not as harsh as fleeing the scene of an accident or assault, but still a crime nonetheless.
I completely agree. I'm obviously a sperg about this topic, and have watched a LOT of dog attack videos. I would say fleeing is the norm for pit bull owners when the victim is another animal. The pit bull owners usually seem like they are in shock, because they had been told (and likely repeated) that their dogs are totally harmless. They all seem to have nothing to say and try to casually waltz away. It might be cognitive dissonance, or just typical behavior from some of the scummy types that gravitate towards the breed.

It is also really unfortunate that most state laws say that pets are the same as any other property, so if they die because another dog attacked you can only collect the price of a replacement pet in a lawsuit. For a mutt that's like, fifty bucks at most. Anyone who adopts dogs won't be adequately compensated.

Knew it. She didn't seem the least bit sad that her kids had died so tragically. And on top of that she had sex with her dog then "gave it away" to hide the evidence of animal abuse. This bitch deserves the chair. Do they still make people ride the lightning anywhere in the US?

Alabama, South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, and Kentucky still have the option of the electric chair (inmate gets to pick). Arkansas and Oklahoma do not let the inmate choose between the chair, lethal injection, etc., but still have the chair as a backup if lethal injection is somehow unavailable. So, to the shock of literally no one, the based southeast strikes again.

And if I remember correctly, Utah is the only state to still have firing squad as an option. Other states either just have lethal injection or have abolished capital punishment because putting the scum of the earth down isn't progressive uwu.

People are saying the dogs were pits. Given the area and the fact they're Mexican, I don't have much reason to doubt. Regardless, this one makes me sick. I hope they get murdered in prison.

https://twitter.com/dogsbite is a good source for stuff that is outrageous but doesn't involve a fatality.

MISSOURI CITY, Texas — City officials say Washington Redskins star Trent Williams was cited following an investigation into an incident involving his dogs that left a neighbor’s dog dead last week.
Williams, a Pro Bowl left tackle, was cited by Missouri City officials on Monday after it was discovered he had multiple violations including exceeding the number of pets allowed for a residence, the pets not being registered with the city and them failing to have the required vaccinations.

his pit bulls were at large in the neighborhood yesterday despite williams being ordered to keep them quarantined until the legal bullshit is resolved. saw a guy from there livestreaming to face book about how they have to drive their kids to the school in their own neighborhood because this dumb fuck can't use his NFL salary to keep his dogs on his property.

I'm sure it will be confirmed pretty soon, the people who claimed to know about the dogs appear to be local at least, they said the kid was scared of walking by there on his way to school. The kid looked fat as hell, he had no chance to run away.

NFL players having vicious pit bulls?

Obligatory, "I've heard this story before" and "the sky is blue" and "at least he wasn't beating his partner."

Charges Possible After Two Adults, Child Hospitalized in Heath Dog Attack

> officers get called to a residence
> at residence they find an adult actively being attacked by 2 dogs outside
> officers describe the conditions inside the home as "unlivable"
> find three children inside behind a "barricade" to protect them
> apparently the residents own 2 pit bulls that had 6 puppies living inside
> the woman of the home claimed the "dogs attacked everybody"
> police used lethal force on the dogs, and the woman even asked the dispatcher to send someone to put them down
> cops took custody of the puppies and deceased adults
> child that was hospitalized was 9, other kids were 12 and 14
> both adults and 9 year old were hospitalized with "severe/critical injuries"

Also, there has been quite a few horses and horseback riders be attacked by pits this fall and winter. (X) (X) (X) (X) First link is an "American staffordshire terrier" that attacked horses in Perth, the second link is an unidentified breed that has repeatedly attacked and killed a woman's miniature ponies (rip Coco Puff), and in third link is a 30 year old horse attacked by a pit. Fourth link is horseback riders that were attacked by a pit, and the riders didn't miss a chance to virtue signal about "it's the owner not the breed" despite them and their horse almost getting killed.

Damn, I didn't know shitbulls were powerful enough to down horses. I imagine even a wolf would have a hard time downing a horse in a one-on-one confrontation.

A wolf would have the sense to GTFO if it was too much trouble. It's a dirty secret that pitbulls kill tons of livestock in addition to children, the elderly, and beloved family pets. Sometimes chickens, but cows and horses too. They are so stupid and aggressive they will attack animals 10x their size for absolutely no reason.

They do, some even shrug off getting kicked. Another thing that can get a horse injured when dealing with a pit is their tendency to run away. The pit gives chase and the horse, terrified, either blunders into a situation where it can't get away or stumbles and fatally injures itself.

Now donkeys and mules, from what I understand, actually have a better chance of fending off those four-legged monstrosities. They can't run as fast as a horse so instead of fleeing they turn and fight and because their only option is to kill the thing attacking them, they'll bite, toss, stomp, kick, even bite and shake the offending shitbull until it's dead.

They'll also attack porcupines. This ends about as well as you'd expect.

It’s an old farmers trick to have a couple of mules or donkeys out in fields with other livestock, to keep coyotes at bay. Mules, donkeys, and a lot of horses hate aggressive canids and will go 100% batshit on them given the chance. It’s pretty much hardwired into them.

Yeah horses are prey animals but when they fight back they do so viciously. There's a video on youtube of a pit attacking a horse and it losing (IIRC).

However miniature ponies, other pony breeds, or elderly horses? Not a whole lot they can do against pits (or any dog) unfortunately.

The light horses (term for the average horses you see that aren't ponies or drafts) that were attacked received chunks out of their stomach, bites to their legs, etc. So they weren't exactly taken down, but had there been multiple pits and they were able to trip the horse and make it fall then yes, they could down a horse.

lmaooooooooooooooooooooo based emotional support pibble

It's not the dog, it's the owner. Just don't have a seizure, they're really traumatizing to those lovable family friendly scamps.

All animals are known to go batshit if their owners act in a strange manner. Pets are creatures of instinct, and if those instincts are tripped, they'll attack both friend and foe:

And this was just a couple of cats. Imagine the damage a fully muscled, steeltrap-jawed Pitbull could do if its "Kill Everything" switch was tripped.

Pit bulls, along with other "bull" breeds, were indeed bred for bullbaiting (basically where a bull is sicked on another animal, most often dogs, for them to fight) but in more recent times pits were bred for fighting each other.

They're bred to bite and tear and not let go, which is where their powerful jaws and drive come from. It's also why they aren't afraid to take on far larger, intimidating animals like horses all by themselves, whereas other breeds would only do so if they're in a pack.

ProTip: If you ever find yourself needing to rehome a litter of kittens, puppies, or a small dog (like a chihuahua), put a price on your advertisement. Fighting dog breeders search for "free to good home" ads to get small animals for their trainees to kill. They'll throw small kittens in the pit with the shit bull for it to slaughter. Putting a price or "adoption fee" on your animals weeds these people out.
