Disaster Shooting At STEM School Highlands Ranch (Colorado) - Two Shooters - One Dead, Eight Injured

One 18-year-old male was killed and eight students were hurt in a shooting at STEM School Highlands Ranch and police say “two shooters” were caught by officers running into the building. Both suspects are students at the school.

The school is located approximately 8 miles from Columbine High School in neighboring Jefferson County.

Denver7 reported that investigators believe at least one of the suspects stole the guns from the parents of the 18-year-old suspect,

Douglas County Sheriff Tony Spurlock confirmed that at least two handguns were used in the shooting.

High-ranking sources told Denver7 Tuesday night that three handguns and a rifle were recovered but said the rifle was not used in the shooting



HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – One student is dead and eight others injured after two of their classmates opened fire at a suburban Denver STEM school on Tuesday.

Superintendent Thomas S. Tucker said in a letter to parents that STEM School Highlands Ranch, a public charter school with more than 1,850 students in kindergarten through 12th grade, will be closed for the remainder of the week.

"This is a terrible event," Douglas County Sheriff Tony Spurlock said. "This is something that nobody wants to happen in their community."

Kendrick Castillo, 18, was identified Wednesday as the lone fatality, the sheriff said.

One suspect is a "female juvenile," police said after originally identifying the teen as male. The other was identified by police as Devon Erickson, 18.

Here's my take, because I'm sure you are all dying to hear it. I think you are 100% correct that we as a society treat people differently with respect to this. It is verified fact that white males are predominantly the culprits, though. I absolutely don't think that all white males should be treated as terrorists or badly, but I think that every time this happens we have to take an objective look at the cause. PL time, get ready for it, I'm a lefty from the depths of hell and I fucking hate guns. However, I'm not against anyone owning them. I'm from the south FFS. There's so much more to this than guns + white boys = bad. We have got to figure out this missing variable. It's just unacceptable at this point.

So: FTM and the Beast is being very un-PC? MTF and we'll have to hear about the brave transgirl school shooter standing up to her bullies in the only way she knew how? Nonbinary and no one is sure what to call her? Either way one thing is certain: the usual suspects will be complaining about the coverage, whatever the situation turns out to be.

I've already said I'm a lefty from the depths of hell. The difference between the two is that typically, and I do say typically and I'll pull statistics if need be, black men don't commit mass murder in this manner or at all really. It's generally targeted and/or gang related so there is "collateral damage". There is no excuse to be had and no excuse for the other, frankly. I've already stated I don't dislike or want white men to be treated poorly, fuck I'm married to one and squeezed a couple out of my crotch hole. I just want to figure out what the fuck is causing these little assholes of any color, race, creed, what the fuck ever to lose their shit.

All these shooters are looking for validation. Take this dipshit, for example. He is a theaterfag who had a bunch of minor roles as a little kid. It got him a lot of attention and fed his ego. He grew up and formed a band to that he could continue to be adored. Then the band broke up and he lost his validation mechanism. Resentment built then bang.

His loser FtM hanger-on likely has a similar story. Transtrending has it's own validation mechanism built in.

All of these shooters are angry and resentful at their peers for not embracing them. They aren't getting the asspats they feel they deserve. The incels, the /pol/ edgelords, the rainbow ponyfags, the troons. This resentment then gets focused on punishing their peers and going out in a hail of bullets.

Probably the first thing that should be done is for these crazy pageant moms to not enroll their theaterfag kids into goddamn STEM school. That place isn't built for the arts.

I agree that's what's fueling it, but this shit didn't happen when I was a kid. I didn't have to go to school even considering this possibility. It's like people have just gone haywire.
 
Supposedly the gun jammed and the other people were not directly injured by the gun fire and were hit by the bullets deflecting off other objects.

One of them would go paintballing regularly and that may have been what lowered the kill count because paintball guns don't work like real guns.

Best quote in the thread. The intensity of media coverage is directly proportional to the amount of dead bodies, or in the alternative, something really weird happening. The people in this thread screeching about "muh narrative" don't seem to understand that a shooting without at least five dead isn't gonna be mainstream news for more than a couple days at most, and certainly most people aren't gonna give a fuck about the shooter.
 
Most definitions of mass shootings (but not the FBI's) require a 4 people to die, so they actually failed to even do a mass shooting.

You likely didn't have helicopter parents and recieve participation trophies you entire childhood either. These kids did. They always had a nearby authority figure around to solve their problems and every outcome made sure to accommodate them. Our society coddles kids more than they have ever been coddled before and as a consequence they are struggling more with transitioning to adulthood. These things are basically just big tantrums thrown by teenagers for not getting their way.

If you want a good example of what I'm talking about read the Randy Stair thread. Instead of growing up he wanted to Peter Pan his way through life and obsessed over childhood cartoons in between school shooting fantasies where him and his ghost waifu murdered all the people who told him to grow up and act like an adult. Then eventually he did just that.

I read that same thing and thought it was them backpedaling, trying to claim the FTM was really just a girl all along, ho hum, nothing to see here, move along people! But now I am not sure if it was that or like you said, this was an obvious male student who was "stunning and brave." This whole thing is likely ti disappear before we ever find out and that annoys me.
 
Pretty suspect that the white male is all over the news but as far as I've seen the tranny hasn't been identified anywhere.
It's unfortunate because being a tranny, they probably have a huge internet footprint, but it'll all be wiped before we can see it.
