If you changed a few words around in that statement but it meant the same thing, would these assholes still freak out, or would it be just enough they'd find something ELSE to bitch about?

But seriously, it's just the DHS reaffirming their mission statement, not a white supremacy statement, or am I one of the few people who doesn't read horrible shit into everything?

Welcome to TV Tropes Culture, where every single detail in everything you encounter is dissected, categorized with autistic labels, and assumed to be a reference to some other thing.

It's called "Unpacking". That's where you "unpack" a straightforward statement and look at each element devoid of context with the express goal of finding a way to twist it into being offensive.

tbh "we must secure future for children of our people" does not feel very threatnig, I mean if it was "we must secure future for latino children" noone would bat an eyelid, and many progressives would

"...and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity..."

Founding Fathers confirmed as Nazis.

I get the feeling "we" doesn't include him.

It never does, that's why they spend all their time blogging and tweeting instead of going outside where the fight ostensibly is.

They want the loyal drones to go die on that hill for them, since the leadership caste is too valuable to waste.

Tom Steyer had been a deeper Trump Derangement syndrome when I saw the following article from the Washington Free Beacon where he said:

Maybe We Can Have a ‘Nuclear War’ to Provide a ‘Real Course Correction’ to Trump

That guy need a padded room and a straight jacket because I doubt then multiples therapies will fix his mind if he still have a mind.

I’m sure this millionaire is gonna be out in the streets with the rest of the population as nuclear bombs start exploding and not protected in a bomb shelter. Guy needs electroshock therapy.

Reminder:

-Tom Steyer created his own army of bots to fight the russian bots and bragged about it for some reason
-Tom Steyer used the premise of preventing a nuclear war as the basis for his anti-trump rhetoric for the last year

He'd rather have nuclear war than to deal with a president for a few years? Pretty edgy coming from a sheltered rich guy. These people really need some form of therapy, because the things that come out of their mouths is pure insanity.

It's out-of-touch, smug, smarmy, cunty, and just plain wrong shit like this that makes you wonder how these people gained power in the first place.

:story: Anyway, these are the "reviews", a few which are on the back of the book:

I swear that you can find positive reviews for political books regardless of what point in the political spectrum that any given book is on. So positive reviews, in and of themselves, mean nothing for political books.

I guess this was said last night:

I get the feeling "we" doesn't include him.
Why would "we" include him? He is a classical Type 1 SJW, a wannabe Cultural Hegemon to the bone. He would rather be a general in this Culture War than a meager foot soldier, maximizing his power and minimizing his chances of getting hurt.

Any person who states that he would rather face nuclear war than a (supposedly) bad presidency needs to have his mental health evaluated and re-evaluated in full, effective immediately. And, as others in this thread have said, some extremely intensive therapy and/or institutionalization.

If this is serious, then this psychotic piece of shit needs to be investigated and sent to jail immediately.

If this person is serious and not just trolling to be edgy, that's by far the most fucked up thing I've ever heard, and they should be in jail. I don't know if what they're claiming to be doing is illegal (I assume it is), but if not, it should be. Disgusting.

Trolling to be edgy. Looks like "Dr. Nifkin" doesn't exist.

ETA Mayo Clinic's Twitter response.
