👓 TGWTG Nostalgia Chick / Lindsay Ellis / TheDudette - aka Hotdogs in face girl

You know Gilbert Gottfried puts on that voice, right?

Duh! He spoke with his normal voice as Iago in Aladdin the Tv Series many times.

Doesn't make my point moot though. Any parody of Gottfried is simply over-exaggerated. Its just like how any parody of Tommy Wiseau makes him say "Huuuuuuuuuhhhhhhh?" with this ridiculous long draw.

Has she said anything about the Heathers reboot series? It seems like something she'd be all over.

Basically, it's as if the people behind the show looked at how much SJW pandering was shoved into Ghostbusters and said "Pfft, we can do it better. Here, we'll cast a guy as one of the Heathers and say he's 'gender fluid.'"

Sadly, I'm not even making that last part up. There's one part in the trailer that goes on about how one Heather is fat, one's not white, and one's a guy.

Just like with Ghostbusters, the trailer has gotten a LOT of hate, with a decent amount of it coming from young women that are fans of the original movie and/or musical. Kinda surprised I haven't seen articles calling people "transphobic" or "fatphobic" just for being against the reboot.
I would actually like to see Lindsay do a video essay about her thoughts on the original Heathers as well as the musical. I still hold that she tends to have really good takes on stuff when she isn't going full SJW.

There's a video from Howard Stern from back in the day where you apparently hear Gilbert's real voice.

I think the wedding's still on, but it's not supposed to be until like this August or something. I don't recall if it was confirmed or not, but the groom is rumored to be Mike Rugnetta, another z-list verified media-maker internet personality.

Is he the same guy as this dude?

Those are two different dudes o:

So either folks are mistaken, or depending on how long ago that pic was taken, Lindsay's just dated multiple balding white guys who look dead in the eyes lol. A weird new type to develop, for sure.

Actually something I've just noticed is Rugnetta's Twitter bio still says he's from Brooklyn even tho Lindsay's says she's based in Philly now so unless he's slow at updating his own shit the folks are wrong.

Oh boy, imagine Lindsay going outside Philly and going into Pennsyltucky.

For anyone who didn't watch it, her main issue with the movie from an SJ perspective is that it portrays racism as mainly the result of animosity based on history rather than a vehicle to uphold power structures that benefit the majority.
The unwavering focus SJWs give to this attitude seems very calculated to dismiss the idea that saner people have, which is that it's a bad thing to maintain animosity toward people who look different than you. It's all in service of that victim/oppressor narrative that aims to excuse anyone in the desirable victim class from having to admit their own actions have consequences, which would require they themselves follow the same rules and restrictions they want to impose on everyone else. In other words: oppressors are bad because they enact oppressive behavior and that's objectively bad. But victims "don't have real power" so when they enact oppressive behavior, it's suddenly good! Even though we just said that behavior is objectively bad.
