Truly a long shot, but I will, nonetheless, hope as I believe in goodness and justice winning out in the end. It would be an amazing victory snatched from the jaws of defeat for sure.

The reason the DNC went after Planter so hard is that he would be the tipping point.
The Dem's are looking to win back the House and Senate but only by the tiniest margins. And 9 of those new members will be DSA types. This gives Jeffries nightmares because these DSA members are not Democrats in anything but name and would have zero issues holding Jeffries hostage on bills until they get their demands met. Demands like more communism shit that will tank the Dem's election chances outside of the super blue big cities cliches where these commies seem to thrive.
To me it's weird that the most wealthy and most educated American's are the ones pushing for "socialism".
The DSA types are just wearing their (D)emocrat tag like a skin-suit. They give less then a single shit about DNC politics or advancing the Democratic agenda unless it's on their terms. This is why Feederman and the nigger are having issues and are finally starting to move to contain the progressives.

I fully agree with this but will also say it's been
quite fun using Planter and Mamdani as examples in debates because their obvious
actual fascism/sexism/racism, combined with the Dems' constant overturning of primaries, are too hard for left-leaning people I know to cover for anymore. I've even had one left-wing buddy to my shock admit
despite my right-wing views, I clearly cared about my nation and culture's health and wasn't being racist (!) when it came to my views on immigration/mass deportations, but that I genuinely was being fair-and-square that
every nation deserved to be first and foremost for its native populace.
Is that but one mere anecdote? Yes. We all know it is. But I do
know normies, and when the leftier ones I know are throwing in the towel over subjects like immigration, racism, or the Democrats' lack of democracy... well...
