I've met a lot of students doing education courses, and have talked to a lot of teachers in general. The only ones who have kids regularly are all college professors and the occasional elementary.

I know a teacher who does a whole economics business advanced class thing for a private middle/high school. She's taken her kids to conventions and competitions and shit. She's currently failing at running a business and is kept alive only because she's the only one offering the service in like 30 miles...and more and more people still decide to drive 50 miles to go to the only competition. She's also exceptionally immature, like you would think we're talking about a teenage girl in a shitty direct to dvd movie immature. There's one guy basically keeping everything afloat and everyone comes for, and everyone knows when his patience finally snaps from her being a bitch to him because he's exceptionally better than her and has several times more years of experience and certifications out the ass, the entire thing is fucked. She has no kids of her own and is divorced btw

There is a not insignificant amount of teachers that are worse than their students. They're just better at pretending it's fine because they're """adults""".

Seems to be a big problem where the old guard is retiring and the replacements are fucking retarded brats who don't know how to be disciplined themselves
It seems like unironically the boomers were right but their advice took a bit of time to set in on kids being weak, but i feel like they're weak because of mechanisms they themselves enabled, or something like that.

I've been in multiple states, though i really only remember Illinois and Utah. One is a democrat stronghold and the other is a republican stronghold. The vast majority of my education was during Obama, though some was during Bush and Trump 1. Common Core was an issue in both school systems. It was bad in illinois though. In third grade i had a 12th grade reading level. I remember i took a quiz for a book, and she made me take it again because she thought i couldn't have read the book that fast. After that they wanted me to read books well above my age bracket, stuff i wouldn't enjoy. I did read fablehaven, but i still read funny books like Captain Underpants, because fuck em. Teachers know just enough to teach, but not enough to excel. They have midwit syndrome often times.

Utah was similar, though by the time i got to high school, i was encountering some of the older, more based teachers. Rest in peace my World History teacher. She died of cancer. She hated the fucking commies.

It's basically as concentrated as you can get alcohol through distillation, it's so concentrated that if you leave it exposed to air it will actually suck moisture from the air and dilute itself, it will strip the water from the cells of your mouth and throat, leaving them feeling impossibly dry. I've tried using it in half-amounts for mixed drinks in place of vodka but I vomit every time, it seems like no matter how much you water it down it's a one-way ticket to Puketown.

I do keep a bottle around for medicinal purposes, I basically treat it like cheap usp-grade ethanol since it's at least food grade. If you're too nauseated to swallow a pill a lot of them will dissolve in ethanol but not water, so you can dissolve the med (it doesn't take much, literally drops), add it to a shot of juice or something, and drink that before it precipitates out. Obviously you can't do this with every med so research it before you try (and double-obviously don't do it with time released stuff)

Also it's fun for drinking games, basically the alcoholic equivalent of Russian Roulette. Pour a bunch of shots of vodka and one Everclear, shuffle them up, and wait to see whose body violently rejects their beverage, be it the second it touches their lips or a few minutes later once it's in their stomach

When you go off them you're in this sort of brain fog that never really goes away. We allow doctors to give them to fucking children, who's brains aren't even done cooking yet.

I'm sure in some very rare cases they do help, but the numbers point to 1 in 4 either using or have used them. I think like 15ish percent of the generation public are actively on some sort of ssri/head med. It's fucking sick.

Okay I'll admit, your body does technically begin to form a chemical dependence on them once you're on them. And yeah, stopping SSRI's once you're hooked properly medicated does technically cause you to stumble around like an Indian on payday, all while puking your guts out and feeling like you're being shocked with electricity. But like, they just aren't addictive, okay? You got that? Just be a decent human being and drug your children.

Medical booze and russian roulette need to be the new age thing after all that 'medicinal pot' nonsense. Just as effective or more what what ills you.
