I don’t know what it means, but it sure says something when an allegedly indie show is getting more attention than the multimedia big ass franchise.

Say what one will of TADC, but as "media" it's new and fresh unlike so many tired long-running franchises out there. Same for other zoomer or Gen Alpha stuff like Minecraft, Backrooms, or the like. I wonder if we're finally seeing the cultural rebuke to the exceedingly-long boomer era of cultural relevance.

It's a moot point because Glitch is no different than the big players. Their entire motive is maximum profit, and all those tie-ins and the incessent in-your-face advertising of merch make it extremely obvious that this is the case. Even before episode 9 it got to the point where the creator of the show started to hate his own creation. It's not because of the fandom, it's because his extremely personal creative work is getting whored out to kingdom come.

Glitch will either become big enough and morph into the next DC, Marvel, Disney, whatever (unlikely), or they get bought up and slotted into the same slop machinery producing nostalgia bait as every other studio (highly likely).

What is to say about DC?
- The comics have know only 2 moves for decades: "a popular (female) character is now a tranny/bisexual" OR "Batman but its a supreme tryhard edgelord".
- The movies are dogshit, and not the funny "so bad its good" dogshit thing like Batman & Robin, but the unwatchable slop that is shazam fury of the gods.
- Cartoons are equally dogshit, teen titans go sucks, but its infinitely funnier to mock toontubers having derangment syndrome over it and I already discussed superman & lois.
- TV shows? That's plain unwatchable, you can't pay me to watch whatever shit CW is allegedly cooking from a literal toilet.
- Video games? Either bland or woke, bland is worthless to discuss, going "woke bad" mad has stopped being popular ever since the HeelVsBabyface rant was posted.
You do get every now and then some massive fucking stinker coming from DC, like that one movie where they turned the joker into anisa's husband, but even than that's not something worth a discussion.

Here's the difference between digital circus and DC: digital circus has moment of shine, singular scenes and moments that make you say "Yes, this could have worked." or "This ain't too bad".
You cannot say the same about DC, its slop made for the lowest common denominator, niggers and children.

They hire faggots and trannies to read stories that don't sell because trannies and faggots don't like big corpos, so instead they watch the indie show made by a tranny or a faggot.

Same for the games btw, suicide squad was garbage and adding inclusivity did nothing because trannies have the same fucking tastes of porn-addicted autistic men, with anyone saying the opposide being an outliar and/or a subhuman game journalist, their opinion won't matter and anything they say goes against all consumers, including trannies, gamers and dudebros.

WB has thrown away billions with harley quiin and the suicide squad, so here's the reality check for them: nobody ever gave a shit about the suicide squad aside of a bunch of retard execs that thought "we need our own guardians of the galaxy", with guardian of the galaxy being itself is one of those pieces of shit titles that popularized the millenian quirky self-aware reddit humour that resulted in the latest god of war game featuring a literal cube of jelly as companion.
Its depressing how much fucking damage to media and entertainment in general that movie has caused, the fact that DC still wants to make one of their own is not just delusional and retarded, its pathetic and they deserve to kill themselves.
Just like the retard that thought harley quiin had to become the new mascotte for the franchise, I never fucking liked her, she worked in small doses and solely in the show that introduced her, then they tried everything with her, desperate to catch lightning in the bottle again when there was never a lightning to begin with, just a battery being shortcircuited by a 2nd grader behind the school for fun.

Why is the stupid clussy show funnier to discuss? its because it has a direction, its because the people responsable for it are a bunch of sellout faggots, not corporate retards with 0 self-awareness, its because there's potential being noticed and floundered immediately after, its because people either likes or are utterly repulsed at it, they don't just forget it even existed the second you stop watching it, like a ubislop game or the james cameron avatar franchise: PPP is gonna lament and mock the shit out of it for eternity, but he's gonna remember it and its hatred toward it forever.
Once it ends, nobody is gonna remember absolute batman.

Getting featured brought in thread tourists (like myself) which helped bump up activity. Also the neat thing about TADC is it is just a 9 episode youtube series which means it is incredibly easy for someone like me who knows nothing about the series to get caught up and get weirdly invested in the discussion. DC is such a clusterfuck and has a massive history of comics, shows, movies, and games unless you are already fan, it will be hard for a tourist to catch up and get invested.
