Something from today that was caught on the Linus Tech Tips snark subreddit; Linus got called out by a commenter about his incorrect analysis of video success metrics (looking at individual views instead of monetized engagement via merch, etc). Linus responded to it and then uses his janny powers to delete the critic's original response and his response to Linus's response.
Here's the first interaction, screencaps stolen from r/LTTMeta. It's in a thread where the OP is asking for LTT to bring back janky videos with rigged up setups. Linus responds, and then proceeds to get very butthurt at being called out for his poor analysis.

LTT Store is not making sales because the products are good (they're not!) but because his fans are engaged/entertained, and are thus willing to give him money in exchange for merchendise they can use to rep the brand. Linus is completely delusional if he thinks the store stands on its own two feet separate from the content. Nobody would buy this overpriced bullshit if you had no fans - and having fewer engaged fans, due to making shittier content, will also lead to worse sales figures.
How fucking insane to see this completely normal, well-reasoned pushback and janny it. Granting Linus janny powers was a huge mistake, he's done nothing but abuse and misuse them since he got them.
