This design pisses me off. It looks like a kid made it on some design your own shirt site with pasted on clip art.
It doesn't have any balance to it. This has to be the work of an Indian or made by his own kids.

It looks like something you'd find in an HMV in the 2000's. Definitely made by Jeet hands, Linus would make a HUGE deal outta his kids designing merch.

This feels like a behind the scenes video, not a tech tips video. Linus openly just says "I didn't do much research", and when pressed why he bought this one, he says "it's the one you buy [if you don't want to buy a decommissioned arcade cabinet, or the cheapo plastic mats]".

His co-host near the end states "I noticed sometimes it wouldn't register inputs, or hit an input that was missed." It sounds like they didn't even calibrate the thing. Great job guys, really putting in that LTT level dedication. I can see why you need so many employees.

Something deeply tragic about grown men dressing like small boys. Even when it's to sell your tacky low quality merch. Have some self-respect, you're married with kids. And curse you for including that bloated oaf in the screenshot.

On of the crazier shifts of the LTT fandom is how strong Linuses cargo cult used to be. Here is an Older post from a lineman that dropped his screwdriver on the side from 13ft/4m on to asphalt and it split clean in half.

LTTRATCHET2.PNG
Now if you are a guy that has actually used a tool you would say holy shit how the fuck does a SCREWDRIVER break from a 4m fall? Even a cheap husky screwdriver wouldn't snap like that. The plastic would scuff bit it wouldn't break. Even intricate electrical tools with gearboxes easily surive a 4m drop. You might ask how can an LTT fan possibly defend this?

But Linus cult start downvoting him and make posts making fun of him. When they should be outraged that they got scammed by Linus.

That's not how it works. Why the fuck are you even lying about this? All of the tool companies have good warranties. Even regular hardware stores replace your shit without asking how you broke it.

Yes some of those little pieces are indeed held in by plastic. This is where the problem is. That's not a defence of this shit that's the problem with it. If only they could figure out a material that would be better than plastic to hold things together? It's just user error that apparently integral parts of your screwdriver have been cheaped out on. It's not linus' fault that the shitty plastic broke, it was the plastic's fault, which linus' team chose and he signed off on. How could that ever possibly be anything other than the end user's fault?

SEA Monkey sweatshop backpack getting it's color fucked up after being caught out in the rain? You were wearing it wrong. Who would wear a back pack when it's raining?
Chinkshit clone screwdriver catastrophically breaking after being dropped or well used? You were using it wrong. Who would ever use a screwdriver while on a ladder?
Saint Davis was right about some people being honest to God, in every sense of the word, nigger cattle. I've had no name chinesium tools that have lasted over a decade and survived many off label uses.

I have a screwdriver that came with some IKEA shelving that I’ve used as a chisel and a prybar who knows how many times cos it’s just junk anyway, and apart from being visibly scratched to hell it works just fine.

dude used the tool as you would an actual tool doing actual work and it shit the bed, and the guy gets hassled by soys that use it as a fidget spinner/dildo/consoomer catnip who never built anything with their hands in their entire miserable lives. the ltt dildriver took one hit and broke into a million pieces.

i hope this lineman learned his fucking lesson and got off the linus plantation

real hand tools have no questions asked instant replacement lifetime warranty. this is a conspicuous consumption fidget dildo for manchildren

They are so unbelievably awkward and ugly.
entire pose looks like hes trying to struggle snuggle her and shes weakly trying to put some distance between them

Meanwhile, as bags fall apart and screwdrivers blow up, this nigga thought this was a worthwhile video, thumbnail alone makes me not want to watch it. Read the room, fag:

actually kind of pissed of how fucking dogshit they are and terrible at explaining & observing the game

if you look carefully, there's a green bar in the corner of the game, its the life gauge/meter that drains if you miss steps (arrows or notes flying), can be regained by not missing steps
1778362864009.png
1778363472948.png
once the bar is drained, score doesn't gain at all (learnt this as i was learning to play), which they were confused & complained about - which i suspect due to western and some other brain damage scoring systems (which i will not go super autistic on a broad or rhythm game sense), they get misconceptions and think it's non-linear or exponential scoring system - that is just wrong, the score amount is a fixed amount that counts up to 10 or something million, the number doesn't really matter but it equally divides that maximum score across all the steps/notes equally and is based on how accurate you pressed that note, which the game has accuracy that ranges from miss/bad, good, great, perfect, excellent (there's also OK for hold notes), there is no multipliers making it the most holistic and fair scoring system for rhythm games. the % score in the difficulty banner is the only stat that really matters when comparing runs, which ideally you want to AA or ~93%, if you want to go a bit beyond, then just hit AAA or an FC
1778363169661.png
linus misinterprets life & judge difficulty as some kind of qualifier/ranking for the player, that is not true - life & timing difficulty is sort of like arcade difficulty settings, by default for stepmania it is set to 4, and specifically the timing system tries to emulate ITG games' timing in ms, but if i recall the flawless timing is ~3 frames in total

but even then, they're all shitters at ddr, it doesn't really matter if the pad 'wouldn't register inputs' because they're too dogshit to know even on the basis of "i played games, therefore i know games", i have anecdotally found many gamers who do play a lot of games that can barely worm their way through a basic rhythm game
also elijah whatever his retarded name is pointed about the music 'mattering', the music doesn't matter because if the song is way too easy, none of the music really line up and you're playing 1/8th of it, this is just a retarded shitter point anyways and the color of the notes dictate the timing on the measure, ie: red notes are every measure, blue notes are every 2nd beat, yellow are every fourth, other colors are 8th 16th or 2/3th 1/3th as between 2nd beat & fourth beat, etc. - which the different colored notes never show up as they're too shit to play any harder than easy

actually kind of pissed of how fucking dogshit they are and terrible at explaining & observing the game
your hyper-autistic breakdown of why linus is a mouthbreathing retard notwithstanding, i agree.

boiled my piss once when he was loaned a rare AMD system from the early 2000s. despite DETAILED instructions from the owner on how to get it working, he bumblefucked all the way with his crew of retarded subhumans. they failed to get it to work correctly, handwaved it away as trash, that's it end of video, buy this bottle of nigger aids off lttstore, roll credits.

i'm beyond this now. i know they are wastes of space beyond a shadow of a doubt, so i have transcended anger or annoyance. i live in a world of pure mockery

LTT MERCH ALERT! 🚨 🚨 🚨 🚨 THE SCREWDRIVERS ARE UNSCREWING THEMSELVES?!!!!

This is gonna require a bit of context from 2 years ago:
LTTPREC2.PNG
LTTPrec.PNG
Ok now this is the worst shit I have ever seen design wise. Linus you should fire the guy who came up with this. He has no buisness being a engineer as he lacks common sense. Why would you make it so that every time you tighten a screw it might break your screwdriver if you applied enough force? It's obvious that the manufacturer forgot to apply loctite but that dosen't change that at it's core it's a flawed idea. You don't put a screw assembly where people are gonna put most of the torque.

Let's take a look at what the market leader does (the one Linus is directly competing with) Ifixit:
Ifixit.PNG
Oh they also make it in two parts. The top part threaded and bottom part in one piece. Cause the bottom is where you put all of the torque. It's almost like they have employed someone who has used a screwdriver before.

LTTUPDATE2.PNG
A Linus hire comes in and tries to sweep it up by saying that it's a one off defect. This is in 2024 Keep this in mind for 2026 developments.
LTTUPDATE.PNG
Instantly blown out by 5 other members on the forum having the same issue.

Here are people reporting the same issue in 2025:

Then we move on to 2026 there are many people who report having the same issue:
Screw2026.PNG
So obviously this is a huge issue that they can't fix with the current design. The reason why it isn't a big deal right now is cause most LTT fans don't know that it's a defect and assume that a screwdriver should dissasmble itself with use. LTTFAIL.PNG

Even if their design properly incorporated loctite into the threading, why would you make the choice to do that when it's so obvious to everyone that it will become a major fault point? Straining what is effectively glue with constant torque every time you use the screwdriver, it will fail eventually and become waste no matter how to spec it is. Loctite isn't actually fusing the threading together. What a retard Linus is.

I am almost at point to think that someone is purposefully sabotaging them internally. But that would mean they would have hired someone smart enough to do it and I doubt that...

Screwing things either direction can happen. As such no part that applies force should have any type of threading. That is just asking for trouble. At most you could have something like end cap screw in... Or some cover. Clearly no idea what happens, no experience, no research, nothing. Absolute amateur hour.
