Swalwell is interesting because of two things.

1. Everyone knew he was a piece of shit and what he was doing pretty much, and kept quiet until it was time to dump him. How many Swalwells are there and how many people protecting the Swalwells are there?

2. I still say he looks very much like he does more than just pursue women. Check hard drives, check for hidden fag history, maybe even cruising gay apps for young underage teen twinks to rape.
The Swalwell situation is intended to be a message to other Democrats. The message is: we know your dirty secrets and have known for years. If you do not kowtow to the Party's will, we will destroy you.

For now, Swalwell is being told to drop out of the California governor's race. If he continues to refuse, I would not be surprised if his entire political career was ruined. Better a straight White male than the symbolic loss in California.

The modern left absolutely has a moral consistency. It simply isn't aligned how a normal person's is aligned.

Modern leftists moral consistency is all about oppressor vs oppressed. That's it. If a group is one they consider oppressed, they support that group, regardless of whether or not that group is objectively bad. Any group that does not support the group they consider oppressed, is an oppressor group, and they are bad, regardless of if they are objectively bad or good.
The immediate problem is that this system is inherently oppressive when the intention by the left is to remove all forms of it. This is where the contradiction originates and why I've grown to dislike most leftsits even though I share some similar beliefs.

Let's say it needs to have at least 85% of pre-war traffic

I think a 15% margin is more than fair. Consider it a bet.
I don't think June is a good timeline for this, and that would be if the straight opened today. Only after things start back up, it will take 4-6+ weeks to get back to ~85% of what they were at. The majority of oil and gas facilities serving the strait are shut down right now, only Saudi's have some still online that they're shipping over their pipeline across the country.

Once the facilities can come back online they have to do repairs, inspections and work to ramp production back up, with these types of facilities, portions of it can only start to move at the slowest component in the pipeline. Then you also have to coordinate getting ships back into their flow.

So assuming it's opened in, say, 4 weeks, around the 2nd week of May, you would probably be looking at July at the earliest to get back to ~85% of what it was pre-closure.

I think a better bet is just if any boat that wants to sail through the straight can do so. That Iran isn't bombing or extorting anything going though the strait. Getting back to some % will take a lot longer than people realize, especially with a lot of the infrastructure that's been destroyed.

Lastly, if the US bombs Iran's infrastructure to get them to open the strait, it would probably take years to get back to that 85% level.

No, he was the guy that got stickers reenacted by breaking the site and made Josh relent, and also designed the new ones lol
I didn't break the site, I fixed it and then null got mad and broke it then everyone got mad at him and so he fixed it permanently.
I also made :heart-full: and :heart-empty:but the SVG on the latter one isn't centered so it appears smaller, despite the fact that I gave Josh the working SVG

Yeah, but the results of the bet will be fun no matter what.

I don’t get what Trump is trying to do. Blockading the strait isn’t going to make the cowardly insurance companies sign permission slips to let people cross the strait. Gas prices aren’t getting fixed. There’s no political benefit there. On the military side, it doesn’t make sense when America already has the ability to wipe out internal infrastructure which would be far more devastating to Iran than blocking trade, with the benefit that it wouldn’t impact other countries (which a blockade can do).

Maybe someone can explain the strategy. It seems like Trump wants to stop fighting in misguided thinking that Americans are opposed to fighting in the long-term and a ceasefire is enough to improve sentiment. I don’t think they actually are in general. They are opposed to fighting when it a) leads to higher gas prices or b) there isn’t a clear, long-term objective.

Your contributions to the Stickerban are noted, good luck to you and @Hey Johnny Bravo with the PFP bet.

What did Swalwell do to gain the ire of Democratic establishment?

Good riddance, to be honest. We don't need rapists in house.

What did Swalwell do to gain the ire of Democratic establishment?
It's nothing that he did, he was just inconvenient. California has a jungle primary, meaning any number of Democrats and Republicans run at the same time and anyone can vote for any candidate from either party in the primary election, with the two who get the most votes going to the general election. There were too many Democrat candidates splitting the vote while there were only two major Republican candidates running, so both Republicans were consistently leading in first and second place with only ~35% of the total vote.

If both Republicans ended up winning the jungle primary, California would've had to choose between two Republican candidates for governor. The rot in California is too deep for one Republican term to fix the state, and one of the GOP candidates was a BLM loving cuck, so it wouldn't have really mattered, but Democrats cannot even stand to face a symbolic defeat. They were desperate to get someone to drop out of the race so they could consolidate the vote and get at least one Dem to win the primary. Naturally they chose to go after the White male running.

So it's less that he did anything wrong and more that the circumstances made him an issue that needed to be dealt with. That and he's the wrong skin color.

He ran in the CA governor's race and didn't want to drop out. CA has a retarded primary system and the way it was looking, Swalwell was beating that bog hog Katie Porter but was losing handily to the Republican candidate. So the general was going to be between Swalwell and a more popular repub, they couldn't allow that and couldn't take the risk that just running with Swalwell would split their faggot coalition of rancid fat cunts, browns and effeminate cocksuckers.

In a normal voting group of rational people, everyday Dems would really be asking themselves why Swalwell's actions were too damning for him to run as governor but fine for him to be a house rep, and maybe even would start questioning if supporting a political party that will ruthlessly operate to ouster a democratically supported candidate because the cold calculated math suggested it is the right call. But we are past the point of there being any rational or introspective people on the left, any who haven't defected by now are so retarded that they can never be trusted to be a rational human.

The long and short of it is that it's an attempt to force NATO to get off it's ass. The Strait is a major focal point for the global economy and the majority of NATO nations were content sitting out the war and paying Iran's toll. The blockade forces these nations to comit to opening the Strait. And the only options are to A.) Side with US and provide meaningful military aid to open the strait, B.) Side with Iran and forcibly end the blockade, or C.) Continue to wait it out as gas prices skyrocket.

The second and third options are complete suicide.

Trump wants the strait reopened and the new Iranian regime refused to or can't get Hamas/Hezbollah to stand down. By assuming control of the strait directly we can now "reopen" it, no negotiating with islamist retards required.
I don’t think they actually are in general. They are opposed to fighting when it a) leads to higher gas prices or b) there isn’t a clear, long-term objective.
The higher gas prices in the US aren't caused by a true lack of supply nor an increased demand, it's artificial. Speculation markets were a fucking disaster for the West btw. There's no guarantee the prices will drop when the conflict ends. It's going to take a significant effort to get the retarded oil companies back in line and to get certain states to repeal gas tax price hikes done exclusively to fuck with Trump. I wanted to mention it in the past but look how diesel prices never dropped back to pre COVID levels. The diesel market got pegged to the standard gas speculation market and it's never EVER going back because people are willing to pay for it. Buncha retards.

And to your last point, the clear objective in Iran is 1) elimination of Irans nuclear program with a permanent agreement that they will not attempt to do this again and 2) regime change to a West favorable leadership. They refused to stop nuclear enrichment during this last round of talks. So clearly we just haven't killed enough of them to get rational mind in power. I've said it before, but the bombings will continue until we get what we want. We wiped out their formal military they can't stop us. So they either need to find someone with 2 functional neurons and a brain stem who's willing to play ball. Or we'll just bomb them until that rational person is the last one left. If there's no rational people left in Iran then, shame, we're bombing you into irrelevance. The people there cried for our help, they don't get to dictate the terms. Either make a deal or go away forever, no middle road.

Standard blues are based and nicotonepilled. The only superior option is soft pack unfiltered Lucky Strikes.

It's toasted.
Back when I sill smoked, I'd go camel unfiltered. Whenever they were out of my camels, I'd buy unfiltered lucky strikes. Surprisingly good cigarette.
>caring about stickers
:stress:
Taking the time to give negative stickers like a teenage girl on Facebook is the gayer move.
All the Dems need to do is to memoryhole the story, and given the fast paced nature of the news cycle, that isn't hard to do.
Keep in mind that this last election they voted in someone who admitted they wanted to murder their political opponent's children in front of them, and they are about to vote in a senator who had a FUCKING NAZI TOTENKOPF TATTOO ON HIS CHEST.
