Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

A few weeks or ago when all the CNN articles about how Trump failed to initiate rebellion against the regime came out, people here were saying the reason the royalist rebels hadn't mobilized to overthrow the government is because Trump and Pahlavi was telling them to wait for the bombs to stop.
Can I get a TLDR; on if Pahlavi is worth paying attention to or not? How organized are the rebel coalition?

I don't get this. The strait isn't blocked for many people. European ships traversed it only the other week, I believe. And Iran is letting other nations' ships traverse it. It's just the USA's ships and proxy countries that it blocks - you know, the countries that are bombing it, so pretty understandable.

The only way I can interpret this is that the USA is going to stop everyone else traversing it too. French ship that Iran is fine with letting go by? Tough shit - your 'ally' the USA is going to stop you.

Can this really make sense? I wonder if a French or Chinese or Portuguese ship tries passing through if the Americans will actually open fire on it?
I'd be genuinely surprised if they were fired upon; I wager this is about making the countries approach the USA, not Iran, about getting through the strait.

Lol, get fucked frogs, and every other cuck faggot who thought that cowardice & bending over for the modern Barbary pirates would let them wriggle out of this one.
That's really what it's about. The US has a TRADITION of fucking over these muzzie warlords that want to control the waterways when everyone else cucks out and pays the protection money. Fuck Iran. Thomas Jefferson sends his regards

Threats to the Straight Homoz is all Iran has left as a bargaining chip / annoyance to non-dogshit countries.

So President Trump is taking that away from them.

I wouldn't overthink it, the message is clearly "if you don't do what you promised we will take control of your Homoz".

PAY THE TROLL TOLL, YOU EUROSHITS. LET THIS BE A LESSON NEVER TO FORGET WHO OWNS THE FUCKING PLANET WE GRACE YOU TO EXIST ON.

It would be like if Russia used its nuclear weapons on Kyiv at the start of the war, sure they'd win the battle, but now everyone recognizes what a massive fucking threat they are and now they'll do whatever it takes to destroy them.
There's a reason it has taken 47 years for any US president to actually do something about Iran, they simply have a natural geographic advantage on controlling energy routes.

Geopolitics, especially modern-day geopolitics isn't about using extremely high risk, high reward strategies to get what you want, you take the path of least resistance, you can make the same argument that Russia as much of a threat to local affairs as Iran is to their own region, but no one here is clamoring to go to a direct war with the Russian Federation as the idea of collapsing their government is an unrealistic, overly ambitious goal.

A couple weeks in Iran could probably have negotiated relatively favorable terms. They could probably give up their nuclear enrichment and foreign proxies and get US money for reconstruction and getting sanctions lifted.
Do you honestly think the people who have spent their whole lives opposing "The Great Satan" is suddenly going to give it all up?, that's as unrealistic as convincing Russia that that don't need their "sphere of influence" over Eastern Europe (hence the Russo-Ukrainian war), or making China realize that their policy of Reunification with Taiwan is retarded.

The only way a nation can be stopped from furthering their geopolitical goals is by the language of force, not diplomacy.

Wait.

So instead of an ambiguous, "there may or may not be mines and our insurance broker is having a meltdown" threat slowing traffic to a crawl except for those that pay Iran... WE'RE now ACTUALLY putting a gate (Read: Blockade) across the strait? We're now the assholes driving inflation across the globe?
The point of running those destroyers through the lower part of the strait was to show that the mining is either non-existent or non-functional, and that Iran's actually holding the strait hostage by forcing everyone to pay a toll in what should be an international trade route. We'll see in the next few days if the possibility of the US using Iran's own playbook against them was taken into account in any strategic planning the IRGC put together.

I understand your point, but this is still war, and regardless of what the "rules-based international order" might think, allowing Third World terrorist states to operate with impunity while forcing everyone else to conduct conflict with one hand tied behind its back is a primary reason all the brownoid bullshit that people complain about on this site has been allowed to take place.

At some point, that bullshit needs to be confronted, it's going to require shit getting broken, and unfortunately, it's going to hurt. This whole "end of history" pretense that's driven western foreign policy the last 35 years is going to have to evolve to something more realistic for today's geopolitical framework, if the west doesn't want to become just another brownoid trash heap in the next generation. Allowing the IRGC to get a functional nuke of any kind enables that, but these guys know how easy it is to manipulate leftoid pleasure centers by using their own cultural marxist buzzwords in their propaganda.

I just wanted to pop in and say you guys are doing a great job with the HAPPENING posting. I'm going to be taking a little break until the war starts again in a week or two. Don't worry, I'll still be MONITORING THE SITUATION from Mossad HQ but I've been HAPPENING posting almost none stop since we Churro'ed Maduro and I need a break.

The amount of people willing to pay literal terrorists money because they are angry at Trump is something that I find worrying. If the terrorists had the upper hand, yuros' families would be killed and raped, like they are being right now but in a bigger scale.

I don't think he necessarily needs to go to congress for funding to patrol international waters with the Navy, they are always doing that.
True, but it will still require funding for any ongoing combat ops to degrade Iranian strikes against our forces in the GCC countries. Most of the funding in recent years for that region was for Inherent Resolve and anti-Houthi operations, not a near-peer conflict against a country with substantive weapons and trade deals with Russia and China.

Summary:

• The US plans to begin a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz
• The US Navy will stop and inspect ships entering or leaving
• Efforts will be made to locate and destroy any sea mines
• Any attack on US or civilian vessels will trigger strong military retaliation
• The US intends to prevent Iran from advancing its nuclear program
Does the blockade perhaps have an ulterior purpose of evacuating civilian vessels away from the Strait in compliance with OPSEC ahead of invading islands?

Europe is mostly populated these days by people descended from those who were too cowardly to sail to the New World or to enlist in the World Wars.

They have to pay in crypto too which I find amusing. Iran sending you that QR code for payment.

Not even a half hour later, and Trump announces a blockade. I don't think Mossad's going to be giving you that break you're looking for.

I had one fucking day off from Happenings and we start blockading the Gulf of Trump. It's a thankless job being Bibi's Top Goy.

The IRGC Navy has released footage showing its UAVs monitoring and surveilling maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz.

‘I was thinking about calling it the Gulf of Trump, but I decided not to do it.’

“We’re going to blockade Iran. It will be a total blockade, nothing in or out. It’s going to be very similar to Venezuela. But it will be a higher level.

A massive fleet is headed to Iran.

I predict they come back and they give us everything we want. I want with everything.

I don't want 90%, I don't want 95%. I want everything! They have no cards.“
