Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

A move like this is more of an indication that they're getting so many of their guys ack'd that they're having to pull in their outlying commanders back to the country to maintain order. That's a far more likely reason that the PMF commander just happens to be arriving a few days after his troops came across the border--it isn't to fight a ground invasion by Americans, it's to start exterminating any protestors that rise up against the regime when the lights go out.
That's good point I hadn't considered.
Also, as the Canadian government knows, if you need to turn the guns on your own people, foreign troops are more likely to follow the order.

That last point is really what I'm trying to get across. Whether or not they think America will go for broke, they need to be prepared for that possibility. That forces the IRGC to spread already-sparse resources thin, or risk disaster if America decides to cast the die.
I want to call out this very solid strategic analysis.
in the same way Iranian missiles are keeping air defense on its toes needing to cover a wide area, that's true of just having air assault in the region. Even if never used, it acts as a Fleet-in-being forcing your enemy to factor it into their plans.

Iran's counteroffer is fucking insane. They want:
1) Guarantees that they'll never be struck again.
2) Israel to stop fighting Hezbollah.
3) The lifting of all sanctions.
4) The reopening of the Strait, but only if they get to continue their $2M per tanker tolls.

These are all non-starters, but especially the second demand. Israel has made clear that they're using this opportunity to completely destroy Hezbollah, and they don't give a shit what Trump says. This is an inborn, deeply personal grudge for them.
1) Is a fair ask for honoring any terms, except given they never fully complied with the previous sanction lifting deal I doubt they'd hold to this one.
2) is completely bogus and outside of the scope of Iran getting BTFO. The Burger/Kike axis isn't asking Iran to attack the Houthis, just cease sending them weapons and funds and pull military/intelligence officers. Hezbollah fucked around and gets to find out.
3) See point 1; I don't think a sanctions exit is an unreasonable ask at all, and IIRC was on the table at the start of negotiations, but not while they're trying to build a bomb, stock missiles, and fund terrorists.
4) That's just complete lol. Its not like Panama or Suez where there's something to maintain. That's just straight Islamic piracy and extortion.

It's hilarious to compare these demands to the US position of "no nukes no missiles and stop using proxies to fuck with your neighbors".
None of this was necessary if Iran wasn't run by a exploitative death cult. Iran could be the UAE, just living the life, shitting on hookers, sports cars abandoned by the road because no one bothers to get the oil changed when they can just buy a new one.

Don't worry they'll start buying from Russia again soon
You say that like they ever stopped.

Sir Arthur Harris is revolving in his grave so fast he could replace the UK's dependency on oil.
They'd STILL buy oil from Russia.

Trump has been watching the situation in Iran since 1979. I feel like all the deal talk is just to string people along since he's been itching to do something about it since then.
In order to keep the mandate of heaven trump has to offer each opponent a path of redemption before he destroys them. He also never directly attacks instead he simply mirrors their own attacks back at them.

If you replaced "US" with "Israel" this would make a lot more sense.
I can leave it as "US" and it still makes sense, and that's the point people struggle with.

Something can be of benefit to both countries for different reasons. Something that benefits the US doesn't instantly become invalid because it also benefits Israel for their own reasons. Everything I listed about the stakes the US has in Iran from it's own personal interests holds true and the people that boil everything down to "Doing X for Israel" are just ignoring US interests to spite the jews.

There's no guarantee they'll have it regardless. The regime completely destroyed their water supply, and if Trump hadn't done anything, they would have gone into the summer having hoarded everything that remained with all their missiles and military intact.
Are you talking about the Gulf states or Iran here? Iran was facing issues with water before the war, I don't believe the Gulf states were (other than the natural scarcity that comes from living in a desert). They could be by Wednesday though.
our military strategy.
Your tactics, Israel's strategy.

Shit man you really got us there. Everybody knows only chinks and jews can think in broad civilizational terms across centuries. We were just having too much fun with cheap oil and freedom fries. There's only ten white babies left and I missed it. I shoulda spent all my time focusing on those kikes, but that dang ol' Larry David jingled the keys again.

hey man leave LD out of this, he's pure and if he's not I don't wanna hear about it.

Britain will not allow the U.S. to use RAF bases for strikes on Iranian bridges or power plants, according to The i Paper.️ UK officials argue such attacks on civilian infrastructure could amount to a potential war crime, and any U.S. request to use British bases for this purpose would be refused. Starmer cucks out, again
Aside from everything, how can they even determine such? Can't a plane bomb some other targets and the bridges?

This is the main thing I've noticed observing jewspergs. Obviously jewspergery is a community filled with millions of people with different, aims, intentions, interests, and so on. But it comes down to a monolith that reacts in a very specific way. /pol/, stormfront, daily stormer, youtube comments, this website, even chimpout from what i remember always follow a pattern
You are right but I want to expand, Jewsperging always seems to lead to a hatred of the West as Jew controlled. It activates an urge for destruction of Western institutions and submission to barbaric civilizations that devalue life and celebrate death. The Russian Bear feeds people to the Ukrainian war, the Chinese Dragon has so little value for life that Chinese people who get into accidents where there is a critically injured person usually kill the person because it's less expensive in the long run, and the Islamists value the afterlife more than actual life. This is a historical trend that started with the Nazis, Hitler personally hated Christians and his comrades experimented with the occult. Mussolini mocked Christianity.

Interestingly, both Salazar and Franco who showed a genuine love of Christianity survived. Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy fell.

I recently tried to challenge this assertion, asking multiple AIs this question because I wanted to have an objective take:

can you give me a recent example of someone who is antisemitic but doesn't support Russia/China/Iran/Palestine and hasn't described the current administration as satanic or demonic

Grok: Ed Matthews, some manosphere guy I never heard of who says Jews control the world.
ChatGPT: Jeremy Carl, some guy I also never heard of who allegedly talked about the Jewish Question.
Claude: Broke. It's still thinking half an hour later.
Gemini: Richard Spencer. Hilariously outdated.

There's religious reasons that I can get into why this is but it gets too esoteric.

Senator Tom Cotton announces Arkansas’ 142nd Field Artillery Brigade is deploying to the Middle East.
Oh fuck. Make those polymarket bets now guys.
My "Nothing Ever Happens" dollars are dust in the wind now. Fuck.

Field Artillery Brigade's also do counter battery fire BTW.
Give we have drones with 8k cameras crawling the area, I don't think they'll be waiting for counter battery.
(yes I understand that counter battery doesn't just mean waiting for the enemy artillery to fire let me have this)

While the Iranians were distracted searching for the downed weapons officer, President Trump killed forty IRGC commanders. He killed 40 IRGC commanders.
That's as many as four tens.
And that's wonderful.

Wow. How could the US be losing like this?! Total Iranian victory.

I suspect the relationship is permanently broken at this point.
I wouldn't say permanently broken. But even when Trump is gone, the MIC is going have some very stern and pointed questions for our Stalwart European Allies about what we can and cannot do with the joint bases we built, maintain, and pay a lease for, to ensure this bullshit doesn't happen a second time no matter how afraid of Muslim terrorists the Eurocucks are.

The point of those bases and NATO in general was so that cucked out Euros couldn't say "No, I won't do anything. I'm big a-scared of consequences!".

But again I wouldn't say permanently but as long as Queer Starmer and his toadies are in Whitehall, the US/UK alignment is pretty well fucked at the top level. God that is some weakass shit.

Macron seems to think this is some golden opportunity for western Europe to reclaim its imperial status, but they're going to find out like we did that paying for guns AND butter requires more than "elegant speeches." Their money printers are going to have to run just as hot as ours have, but maybe they think Iran will gift them with free oil for supporting them if the IRGC survives this.
Honestly I'd be fine with Western Europe reclaiming its imperial status. The issue is they have neither the stones nor the guns to do it.
France deploying its nuke bombers to other EU countries? all for it. Great to see, fucking outstanding and over due, honestly.
Europe has capabilities, but no way of sustaining delivery ofd those capabilities as their equipment levels are joke, as we can see from the pilot rescue response "How can America just burn 50% of its airlift capacity to rescue one guy?" "um, we actually have hundreds more of those, its a rounding error on our inventory".

France has 400 tanks. The US has 8000. Russia has.... well, less than it had in 2021.

France in particular always chomps at the bit to open trade with Iran, pushing sanction dodging to the absolute limit and always has.

This conflict has also revealed the real cracks in the Middle Eastern geopolitical situation. We never would have seen this even 20 years ago, and it's probably because the GCC countries aren't being led by the older sheikhs that felt obligated to suck up to Palestinians out of Bandung-era ethnic solidarity, decades after the Palestinians continued to demonstrate what a bunch of entitled, ungrateful fucks they really are by assassinating leaders, fomenting civil wars, and cheering on invasions by other Arab nations for the sin of not immediately starting a war with Israel. This younger generation mostly just wants to turn their countries into ultra-elite tourist spots, not carry on wars for the benefit of people who demand everything and give nothing in return, while blackmailing you with the threat of insurrection if you aren't constantly kissing their collective ass. No wonder western leftists love them so much, they're of the same mindset about how a society should run.
I really don't think Iran and its golems understand precisely how badly they fucked up with the Great October Jew Hunt.
Before Oct '23, Israel's continued slapfight with the palestinians had it as the clear colonist aggressor. "OK, sure they chanting death to the jew and launching missiles, but they are launching like two missiles a month and no one has suicide bombed in like 7 years. You keep saying they are some huge threat, but they aren't even able to be an annoyance. meanwhile you keep bulldozing their villages so you can put down settlements. Sure Jan. Sure they'll never stop until you are all dead - They've already stopped except for token attacks because they are retarded chest-puffing arabs and we can't expect better of them."

Then October happens and Hamas is out there wholesale slaughtering and raping civilians, taking hostages, and doing everything the Jew Diplomats claimed they would do if allowed. If they'd hit military targets it would have been one thing, or just forced residents out while they destroyed settlements, it wouldn't have gotten any blowback, but they started killing civilians.
Now you CAN'T say the Jews are wrong about Hamas anymore.

Its like the '73 Yom kippur war; before Yom Kippur the US was throttling weapon supplies to Israel to force them to negotiate with the Arabs. The US position was the Arabs were completely BTFO after Six Days, and this was the best time for Israel to press to peace. They just had to stop being such jews about it.
Israel kept crying about how the Arabs didn't want peace, they'd never allow Israel to exist, without weapons they'd view Israel as weak and attack.
And sure enough, the Arabs attacked with no warning. And US weapon sales to Israel have never been interfered with since.

And after years in Yemen and Syria, and now that it is directly fucking the bottom line, I don't think they have patience for Iran's bullshit anymore.

the funny part is hitting that bridge doesn't even qualify as a war crime under the dumb definitions because it wasn't open or in use striking it did nothing to harm the civilian population.
anything used for any military purpose EXCEPT humanitarian (i.e. blowing up a clearly marked bridge you know is being used solely for the evacuation of wounded) is permitted. People confuse US Rules of Engagment for the Geneva convention.

There are probably some plants and stuff that you could make that distinction with inside of Iran, but if we were to actually go all out and hit all of them we would absolutely be in violation of the Geneva convention.
As @Fred Herbert puts, unless its a holy separate grid, or some place where 100% of the power is going to only civilian areas, its all dual use and within bounds on Geneva.
There is some blah blah bullshit where if you have orders and communiques where someone involved in the chain of orders says "I am cooming to the thought of civilians suffering" then there is some splainin' to do, and it would be looked at carefully.
But we don't know exactly what will be hit, how hard it will be hit, of it will be hit so that's cart before horse.

Says trump loves killing people, that he's going to nuke iran, implies he's the Anti Christ, etc
WTF, I thought Qatar was on our side now. What is their puppet doing?

you need to put your knee on your adversary's neck and snap it, or it's going to be obvious you're playing not to lose, rather than win.
I wholly agree. To much retard leftoid noise is made about trump TACOing out on things, and I'll argue with them on previous pull backs in this conflict. But if we waive off this time unless there is solid, real concessions from Iran.... yeah that'll be TACO. That'll be Biden levels of cucking out.

Make it known loudly and publicly that the countries of bases we are not allowed to use have been removed from any missile defense systems so Iran can take another shot at it.
Russia ends conflict in Ukraine, withdraws to 1991 borders, signs treaty to forbid the use of missiles and drones against each other, agrees to DMZ on border.
In exchange, allowed to annex Spain.
Putin turns it down, "we have chechnya, we don't need another Muslim-run oblast"

Soleimani's niece is gonna get off the depo provera and give birth to the mahdi. He's gonna start the prophet's true hustlers university and teach YOU how to get laid and enjoy expensive bottle service, just you wait.
lmao, what IS TopGs status? is he still lookin to catch those drones with his bare hands and throw them back?

I fuckin hate that bobbleheaded, deeply closeted homosexual but sometimes he does make me laugh, have you ever seen that tequila commercial? L m a o.

Gentlemen, apologies, back to the business.

who has the Initiative?

edit:

oh yeah this is why I wanted to post, indirect question chat:

I heard a certain former military someone saying he took part in a wargame where they were "only" taking bandar abbas and the plan was 60k marines with 120 to 180k army coming in right after...

Trump has said multiple times, both yesterday and today, that Iran will be given no more extensions. Then that WSJ article came out (yeah, shitty source) saying that even he is pessimistic at the prospect of a deal being done in time, especially after seeing that ten-point list of nonsense Iran sent back, and he's always raving about how close they are to a deal.
The only way I could see him cucking out without completely tanking his reputation is to claim that they had to pull back because Iran used civilians as human shields, but even then, he could just use graphite bombs.
