Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

Casually committing war crimes while accusing yt of casually committing war crimes is all the browns got

Article 28 of the 1949 Geneva Conventions and Additional Protocol I (1977) explicitly ban the use of human shields. Forced use, and voluntary use like what Iran is doing here, both banned. Well browns aren't human so I guess it's ok
At this point whatever highground Iran had will be canceled out by there own retardation.

(Imperial, pre-Islamic revolution) Iran and the US signed but never ratified Additional Protocol I. Both signed and ratified the 1949 Conventions. But nah bro you gotta understand, war crimes only exist when they are (not) committed by yt Westoids, but browns and commies said they were. Browns and commies can war crimes whenever they want, so long as they're fighting yt Westoids when they do em

Britain will not allow the U.S. to use RAF bases for strikes on Iranian bridges or power plants, according to The i Paper.️ UK officials argue such attacks on civilian infrastructure could amount to a potential war crime, and any U.S. request to use British bases for this purpose would be refused. Starmer cucks out, again.
the funny part is hitting that bridge doesn't even qualify as a war crime under the dumb definitions because it wasn't open or in use striking it did nothing to harm the civilian population.

We attacked a construction site which some might argue is strategically pointless, but is not a war crime. So Starmer is indeed a cuck (though he's probably also just getting in front of if we start going after power plants etc.)

Iran's counteroffer is fucking insane. They want:
1) Guarantees that they'll never be struck again.
2) Israel to stop fighting Hezbollah.
3) The lifting of all sanctions.
4) The reopening of the Strait, but only if they get to continue their $2M per tanker tolls.

These are all non-starters, but especially the second demand. Israel has made clear that they're using this opportunity to completely destroy Hezbollah, and they don't give a shit what Trump says. This is an inborn, deeply personal grudge for them.
It's hilarious to compare these demands to the US position of "no nukes no missiles and stop using proxies to fuck with your neighbors".

potential war crime
Sir Arthur Harris is revolving in his grave so fast he could replace the UK's dependency on oil.

"If we invade, our troops would be massacred"
"You don't understand bro, they're not like us, they glorify death and pray to die martyrs, you can't win against that"
"You can't bomb that! that's a war crime!"
"And so is doing anything but turning the other cheek, that's a war crime too"
"Your losses are non-zero, you've basically already lost"
"You HAVE to cease fire for negotiations! And you have to commit to 30+ days of ceasefire so it's politically and diplomatically harder to justify restarting it"
"erm, you STILL haven't killed literally every single one of them? heh, paper tiger"
"erm, isn't it fucked up you did all that just to get your dudes home? Just stop the war and wait for a prisoner exchange"
"You are axiomatically trying to commit genocide, if you don't commit genocide you're pathetic and we win"
"This war is a sham started by the leader for political reasons"

It occurred to me just how much the narrative being pushed for this war mirrors the narrative that was being pushed on Israel's war in Gaza (and in Lebanon to a lesser extent)

Bit more reasonable than their last two proposals though. The first began with something along the lines of “Israel must unilaterally dissolve itself before negotiations can begin” and the second proposal had the winner “please send us all pro-war journalists, we definitely won’t torture and rape them to death”.

At this rate me might get serious terms by late 2030!!!

A move like this is more of an indication that they're getting so many of their guys ack'd that they're having to pull in their outlying commanders back to the country to maintain order. That's a far more likely reason that the PMF commander just happens to be arriving a few days after his troops came across the border--it isn't to fight a ground invasion by Americans, it's to start exterminating any protestors that rise up against the regime when the lights go out.
I'm glad someone realized this. This is also why they've been putting children at checkpoints. It's to protect against Iranian mobs, not American airstrikes. Militaries plan against enemy capabilities not intentions, and the IRGC is obviously noticing a few patterns that seem inconceivable to mere observers like you and me.
  • The airstrip that American SOF used to pull out the WSO (located 30 miles south of their second largest city) is incredible and baffling, if you assume they threw it together overnight. But it actually makes perfect sense if you assume that this strip has been operating for some time and is one of many. As I've mentioned before, one of the many tasks special forces are expected to perform is securing airstrips in unfriendly territory for material support to potential allies. I'm sure the IRGC is wondering how long that strip was in operation, and what exactly it was being used for before the search and rescue operation.
  • The US Military is doubling the number of A-10s deployed to the gulf, officially to support in efforts to open the strait. The A-10 is certainly capable of the sort of operation being proposed, but it's bread and butter is close air support. As we all know, it's almost impossible of enemy ground forces to mass in the presence of friendly air support. The end result is that the enemy cannot mount an effective attack or defense, even when faced with what is on paper a considerably weaker foe (ie ragtag militia or low-readiness conscripts like the Artesh).
  • As of today, America has two MEUs deployed to the gulf, as well as additional Army / Navy / Marines on standby who are capable of reinforcing once a landing is made. It has been intimated that these forces are intended to be used in the capture of strategic islands around the straits. You know where else they can attack? Literally anywhere across the gulf. Air assault capabilities mean that they can even pose a limited threat to the Iranian interior. Whether or not the IRoI actually believes the US intends to land troops, they'll have to be prepared for a landing anywhere across their southern coast (capabilities, not intentions).
That last point is really what I'm trying to get across. Whether or not they think America will go for broke, they need to be prepared for that possibility. That forces the IRGC to spread already-sparse resources thin, or risk disaster if America decides to cast the die.

I love calling their bluff on that martyrdom bullshit. Sending your dumbest people to be ground up isn't fucking martyrdom and it's more reflective of most niggerlicious africa than any kind of spiritual conviction. I'm tired of hearing so many people give oxygen to their religious convictions, as if they were the product of a thoughtful yet alien faith and not just typical cynical power play nigger bullshit.

Very sane take coming out of Iran.

Apparently they will be putting civilians inside of power plants tomorrow too.
These rats can't even get a bunch of villagers in the middle of their country to bring them a couple of pilots that got taken down by a lucky hit. The only way they're getting anyone to form human chains or moving into power plants as human shields is putting them and their families at the business end of an AK-47. And then they wonder why they keep getting narc'd on for the Israelis to hit them. The power plants might actually be the safest places for a strike like this, because we can just hit them with graphite bombs that will short everything out but not destroy the buildings. I don't know if that's The Plan if things actually do end up going off, though.

War crimes do not exist. Fucking excuses. We should just seize diego garcia and declare war on the British, as a treat.

Month 2 of the two week special operation. Iran has lost all it's missile launch sites for the 69th time, and all military commanders are dead again.
This won't be another forever war in the middle east...not while Trump is threatening war crimes for the 7th time in the last two months.

TACO or Dictator?

"Iran's nuclear ability has been totally obliterated" It wasnt
"We've changed the regime!" We didnt
"Iran is no longer a threat" It is
"We are having discussions" We werent

All from your wanna-be Nobel peace winning President. Tuesday arrives and what victory will Trump declare to avoid committing a vast number of war crimes? Who the fuck knows.

Israel ran an airstrip in Syria during the 12 day war

Fuck off Blumenthal.

I'll guarantee to you it has not. During the 12-day war, sure, a lot of people were more sympathetic. But after what happened in January, they want nothing but blood. Even right now, under heavy bombing, the IRGC is executing the January protesters. They have their stooges on TV tell people that if they get to the streets and say anything but "Allahu Akbar" they will get killed (like, literally, they will shoot and kill you).

So no, no one's switching sides all of a sudden. But yes, the populace won't be able to do jackshit if they are unarmed, because they'll be going against MGs.
"The arduous march" that the BEST Korea reports with their famine that killed 5% or more of their population has done irreversible damage to the Supreme Rocket Man's ability to control the people. Before the famine of the 1990s the state had full control over the people's food supply. Even after their crackdown on private farms the "jangmadang" or private markets still control the majority of food.

What I'm trying to say here is Iran fears its ability to control Iran will be permanently loosened by this bombing campaign and maybe JD Vance might create a 2nd economy that's going to compromise the state's ability to hide its income sources and ability to fund its nuclear ambitions. I think Iran will cope it won while privately IRGC business men actively erode the governments control by selling oil to third-party nations friendly to the US.

It's hilarious to compare these demands to the US position of "no nukes no missiles and stop using proxies to fuck with your neighbors".
Yeah, they saw America's bullshit terms and threw out a few of their own. What of it. The real answer is going to be equivalent to status quo pre ante, with maybe some bullshit paper of friendship thrown in on top of it. Iran isn't going to agree to not have a foreign policy or missiles to defend itself (and they absolutely can be used to defend itself, see: right fucking now,) and if Trump is still asking for that then they might as well put out a bunch of their own bullshit in order to "meet in the middle." They know for a fact that they have the US by the balls here. America can't invade them and doesn't want to risk assets opening the straights but as a democracy its government depends on the will of the people (and thus a good economy) far more than Iran's does.

Trump is doing a very bad job of mad dog/drunken master diplomacy. Instead of coming off like the crazy person who Just. Might. Do. It. he's coming off like a desperate beggar trying to retract his foot from a meat grinder without admitting to any fuck-ups on his part. All Iran has to do is stall and wait as the foot continues to be ground up.

I guess they must have read "The Art of The Deal"?
