i will be THE catty bitch and say this topic is kind of fuckin late. fat acceptance is old and busted, new hotness is "Hello, how are you today. Any symptoms? Say sport, weight loss could help you. Have you ever heard of something called Ozempic TM(r)?"

multiple doctors saying their most provided service flat out is ozempic tm(r). fuckin ALL "muh body is healthy, muh fat acceptance" celebs IMMEDIATELY TOOK THAT SHIT ASAP, symptoms be damned. to the point it's essentially the first covid vax again except with actually some benefit, tons of shit that's under the radar like people having muscle damage and fat taken from places it shouldn't be

to the point there needs to be a "drugs are bad, let's lose weight naturally" movement

if something seems too good to be true, especially with pharma, it fuckin is

CACO is true to a certain extent. You can't deny the laws of thermodynamics, but you can absolutely obstruct them. Proper macro and micronutrients are the building blocks to losing fat and/or building muscle! So looking just at calories is a mistake most people make, because they ignore the vitamins and minerals you need for a healthier gut and protein absorption etc...

You CAN allow yourself a trash meal every now and then, as long as you have those building blocks in place
Thanks, man. I know I usually feel better in the morning if I have some fruit or bowl of [frozen] veg Slowing down when eating also helps because it gives my stomach time to process having something in it; it's helped me this month split out highly caloric meals instead of having it all at once. I also avoid foods that upset my stomach; the shittiest of fast food has been significantly reduced!

As a chef, do you get the same joy I do when picking out ingredients and wondering what I could make out of them?

I'm getting back into VR now that I found some good games to play, and I'm hoping to pick up a sport of some kind for movement and routine. Speaking of, I've had a lack of routine since I moved a few years ago, and it's been making it hard to meal plan, leading to grabbing whatever whenever.

Jesus, when did this become my therapy page...? Sorry if I'm on the cusp of derailing this thread!

I think there is a reasonable level of fat a person can be permitted to be without them obviously having an eating disorder or extremely low IQ and it's whatever Nulls BMI is at any given moment.
It's not ideal for your health or appearance but I don't really hold it against people who are a little chubby. I honestly don't know how Walmart sized Americans are such a common thing. It's impractical and expensive to get that fat. A person can be sedentary and eat whatever they want whenever they want and as long as they aren't downing multiple extra large pizzas and 2L sodas every meal it will take them years to hit a BMI of like 35.

Yes! As a matter of fact as of 2025 and this year i enrolled in an advanced course where we have disciplines that we call "functional cuisine", that has the objective of making healthy, alternative dishes that are both nutrient rich and able to fill roles that are a little neglected like vegan only diets, or alternatives to the allergenic/intolerant

This way, rather than doing poor imitation-like dishes that always turn out gross, we can make actual new and exciting stuff

I feel like a kid in a toy store when shopping for groceries and spices

I am fat and nobody should accept me.
You shouldn't accept fatness in you. Exorcise the gunt demon in 2026

Honestly caveman plus diet is how we survived with slight adjustment to food storage and alternatives in winter months, but as a whole the less processed shit you eat the better. Bleached white bread? Nope. Canned stuff full of sodium and preservatives? You can wash those out somewhat. Man became a slob thanks to technology, but that goes against the core biology of hunting and gathering these meatbags are designed for.

I've always found it funny how far some people will go to glorify their obesity and obtain validation for it. If you need to post about how much you love your rolls (not curves) you really are searching for that validation. And gee, I wonder why you're not getting it.

Like, you know the fat is ugly so your brain knows, your body simply starts failing you in multiple ways, and you are craving that validation so even on an emotional level, you're not satisfied either. Mind, body, and spirit are all telling you to lose weight, so maybe listen to them and achieve a bit of enlightenment instead of pretending that you deserve validation for your awful choices.

It's not the fat that disgusts me most about the hambeasts, that's just a symptom. It's the search for validation for their choices, and refusing to attack the root of the problem.

That's pretty cool! Would you be willing to PM me any good recipes? I'm always willing to try something new!

Apart from the fact that healthy food and buying in bulk are actually cheaper than constantly ordering takeout from delivery apps, it’s also better in the long term financially. You can usually save some leftovers for the next day or add them on top of your next meal. Plus, making larger portions for a group of people is easy. Junk food, on the other hand, is usually consumed as soon as it arrives and is ordered individually for each person.

Ozempic is not a magic cure either. There is ongoing research that delves into some serious side effects, and most people who use the drug to merely lose weight end up rebounding to their original weight because they have not addressed their eating habits at all.
In my experience where a lot of fatties go wrong is just that they lie to themselves, and "forget" that they ate that chocolate bar between breakfast and lunch
Besides fatties having grease on their skull that could make them forget about what they ate that morning, there’s also another reason for this. Highly processed food is never meant to fill you up. Very popular ingredients in processed foods, such as corn syrup or white flour, often have a hard time triggering the feeling of being satisfied within the brain. This quickly spirals into people overeating in larger quantities and adjusting their normal capacity after extended periods of eating trash. This is why people trying to lose weight through harsh diets rarely stick to them: a salad will not fill them up if they are used to only feeling satiated after eating five burgers.

Sure thing friend

But my brochures with the notes are on my apartment and i'm at mum's. I'll get then later on this week and i'll send you some
Thank you, friend! No rush; send them whenever is best for you. I'm going on holiday soon and won't be able to use them for a little bit. I'll send you some recipes (or at least bases) of what I make in exchange; I'm sure you'll find a way to make them better!

Oh dear, I've been baking a lot lately, and flour is a main ingredient. Is there any type of flour that does trigger feeling satisified? Obviously the shit I make is by no means good for you ( @souschef was likely mortified when he saw how much butter I use in my cookie recipe, and I always grimace when I see how much powdered sugar goes into my peanut butter pie and butter cream frosting), but if someone can feel full sooner, then they won't feel compelled to eat a ton at once.

Thats just a picture, try a video.
My eyes! Fuck that would be enough to turn me gay if I wasnt already the faggotiest gayest fairy faggot that ever faggoted

That said a lot of guys arent any better, I've been approached by some huge landwhales on gay dating sites. I have seen things,,,, that I wish I had not. I'll join others on here in their optimism about Ozempic changing things for the better when I see some real shrinkage in the average size of my fellow fags online

I’m sorry but we can’t do that in America unless we pay for a lot of money on non-toxic food. I don’t even know where to find that

This is the real problem with fat people in America. Not just that they're lazy and undisciplined, but that they're fucking retarded, too. They genuinely think that packaged frozen junk food and Whoppers are somehow more affordable than chicken thighs, beans, rice, frozen vegetables, etc.

FFS, even the fresh produce they pretend is so unaffordable is much cheaper per lb than the slop they insist they're forced into eating. A couple heads of broccoli from your average grocery store is like, what, $2.30? Cabbage in my area is .99 cents a lb. You can get 10 lbs of russet potatoes for $5.

Of course, the real reason they refuse those options is because they have to be properly cooked, and can't just be thrown into the microwave for 90 seconds.

Damn did you just walk out of a time machine from 2015? Maybe you should go do a standup bit about this with Bill Burr and every other Gen X comedian who arrives to the cultural zeitgeist like 10 years late

I think Ozempic has killed this movement already.

But there will always be chubby chasers and feeders. Nothing can stop these people from beating it to sweaty fat rolls. But maybe, just maybe it will go back into the closet again.

I found the recipe a little odd but by no means mortifying. It wasn't that much different than mine to be honest

Higher protein flour maybe? Flour alone won't change much in my opinion. Sourdough bread for an example, is not filling not because of the flour, but because of the fermentation and folding technique that generate bigger bubbles when the dough rise

If i was to make cookies that'll make you fuller, i'd add oats and higher protein flour. I wouldn't mess with adding protein any other way (like adding eggs) because it will mess up the dough. This way you get fiber and proteins. Peanut butter (sugarless) could be interesting too

Being fat is just not fun and no psuedoscience from a fatty is going to sugarcoat it.

You're working three times as hard for basic movement to basic labor, just because you're fatter. You run short out of breath for even dealing with a a short flight of stairs. Getting out of bed becomes harder.

I don't mind a little chubby on someone, provided they aren't a walking giant blob of biomass. You're automatically ugly when you're fat, especially as a guy, times that more if you have body hair. It just makes you feel like a hungry hippo and look like a sexual predator in the works.

As a woman, your only attraction are white knights who're chubby chasers in disguise.

There's no one key element that guarantees not being fat, because there are numerous key elements that you have to combine to lose weight. Eating less, working out and being moderate at the very least with what you eat. I've personally proven that I could eat what I want and still lose weight under the system of being disciplined in the calories I took in and having a consistent routine. Then again I felt privileged living in my old home town where, I had a recreational area to go to and to get anywhere, you had to walk to it so that all helped. I just chose not to drive.

Anybody who cries about "wah, I can't afford better food" or "wah, everything so expensive!" can fuck themselves and die by their poor choices and lack of self-respect.

Calories in, calories out is a real thing. It's about finding the balance and figuring out how much you want to take in and how much you should take out. It's not that hard. Stop making excuses for yourself.
