Creepy Unsolved Mysteries - From unsolved murders to unidentified people to unexplained supernatural events, what are some of the creepiest unsolved mysteries you've ever heard of?

The death of Charles Morgan has always been a creepy rabbit hole in my opinion. Don Deveraux of the show Unsolved Mysteries in 1990 looked into several leads on the murder and a man with a similar vehicle who worked near Don was shot dead shortly thereafter. If you know who Danny Casolaro is it gets even weirder. Danny was an OG conspiracy theorist who I remember going hard after the Clinton's corruption. He told Don he had information on Charles Morgan's death and was later found dead himself before they could meet. Both deaths were labeled suicides btw.

Edit: Here is the episode of Unsolved Mysteries
Ok so what was going on with this case, I've thought about it a lot ever since I first heard about it some years ago and there are just so many odd details, I'd thought I'd consult the Kiwifarms braintrust

Ok, so first, Guy disappears for 3 days, comes home early in the morning, has zipties on him, claims he can't talk because there's poison in his throat, tells his wife they can't call the police or they'll be killed. Implies he's a secret agent for the treasury department
1. Did the poison just "go away" without any ill effect?
2. Did "They" let him go or did he escape?
3. "They" don't know where he lives?
4. He's a secret agent But carries a government employee ID on him?

-2 months late he disappears again, Wife gets a phone call from a woman who says "Ecclesiastes 12", he's found dead on the side of the highway, shot in the back of the head according to the police with his own gun. He's wearing his bulletproof vest, one of his teeth is wrapped in a handkerchief in the backseat of his car, there are Sunglasses his wife has never seen before in his car, his car has apparently been modified to allow it to be unlocked through the fender somehow. Has a $2 bill pinned to his underwear with A bunch of stuff written on it, including Ecclesiastes 12, with arrows possibly referencing verses 1-8

Couple days later a woman calls the Sheriff's department, identifies herself as " Green Eyes" claims to be the same woman that called Morgan's wife about Ecclesiastes 12, says Morgan was trying to save his life by bribing the mob with A briefcase full of money.

Being really uncharitable to Morgan here, here's a plausible explanation
1. Morgan contracts that craziness some people get when they're lives are too boring, normal and stable
2. He's 39, has a boring white collar job, 4 daughters and a wife with a body proving she gave birth four times.
3. He starts an affair with "Green Eyes" and gets involved with some illegal bullshit
4. Fakes an elaborate kidnapping for some reason
5. The mob really does get mad at him for some reason (probably being forced to testify against them) and decides to kill him
6. Morgan enters a downwards spiral, delusional about his ability to save himself, convenes with Green Eyes and lays out the plan
7. He gets killed

The Ecclesiastes 12 and modified car thing throws me through a loop. Anyone have any better theories?

This recent story came up on my browser.

Details of his disappearance:

A Wyandotte family is desperately searching for answers after 25-year-old Tyler Bojanowski went missing last week.

Nicole Dillon last spoke to her son, Bojanowski, on Wednesday around 11:30 p.m. when he told her he was going to a friends house. When he didnt return home the following day, she became worried.

His phone was going straight to voicemail. I knew something was wrong, Dillon said.

According to Wyandotte police, Bojanowski visited two different bars in the Wyandotte area Wednesday night.

Around 2:30 a.m. Thursday, police spotted his vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and went looking for it. Officers found the car crashed in the area of Enterprise Drive near the Best Western in Allen Park.

However, hes not there. No occupants are in the vehicle. The airbags are deployed and the cellphone and wallet belonging to him are inside the vehicle, said Chief Archie Hamilton of the Wyandotte Police Department.

Hamilton said surveillance video shows Bojanowski walking away from the crash scene.

Nine hours after the crash, someone found his passport at Dingell Park in Ecorse. The park has cameras, but they werent working at the time.

Was it dropped by him or somebody else prior to this crash? Or was it dropped by him after the crash, Hamilton said.

On Monday, Wyandotte police deployed a drone at Dingell Park as part of their search efforts.

We’re looking for any signs that he may have been there or still is there, Hamilton said.

Bojanowskis mother shared that her son had suffered a brain injury from a previous car crash but remained in high spirits and was focused on his recovery.

He was on his way to full recovery, getting back to work, which was his main goal. He just constantly talked about getting back to work, Dillon said.

As the search continues, Dillon is asking neighbors to check doorbell cameras and garages for any sight of her son.

Id rather have 100 wrong sightings to find one right, she said. Hes just everything to me.

Anyone with information about Bojanowskis whereabouts is encouraged to contact police.

I don't know, man. It'll probably turn into one of those cases where he'll be found dead.

Homeowner speaks out on location where a detained subject related to the case of FBI "raiding her home, she has nothing to do with this, my son in law works for some shipping company"

This is one of those cases where the whole thing is infuriating.
It's been a whole lot of infuriating, and it's gonna get more retarded as the story goes on.

It's no different than any other franchise restaurant other than their exclusively female wait staff. That uniform they wear hasn't been inappropriate since 1959. It's actually pretty conservative, all things considered.
While in Miami in the summer, I noticed that Hooters waitresses actually wore more clothes than most young women on the street. I wondered how they made any money.

If you want that wing flavor without having some harlot fluttering her eyelashes at you for a better tip, you can just buy the seasoning:

shopping.webp

There is zero exaggeration in that statement, and I'm positive about that because I've walked the streets of Miami.

I think I get a cheeseburger and french fries every time. Actually no, not every time. I also get the cobb salad . They actually have a pretty good cobb salad. I never tried the wings at Hooters. I'm just not much of a wing person. I love chicken though. I'm never not in the mood for fried chicken. Chicken wings just don't excite me.

Anybody else ever check out the sheer amount of people who go missing in Siberia? Of course, everyone knows about the Dyatlov Pass incident, but it's apparently way more common for people to disappear/be found dead under mysterious circumstances out there. Crazy shit like an entire group of young, healthy men all being found dead and the murderer(s) never being found.

Agreed. I sort of touched on that in the latter part of my post, It's not solely the homosexuals doing it. They were just a bit more brazen about it in my experience.

Pretty much. People will do stuff like that anywhere.

I once saw an episode of True Life (when MTV used to be cool) that had to do with women with small breasts. One of the women was a Hooters worker. All of her fellow workers all had large boobs, and she got breast implants.

That's how they make money. They're well endowed.

Are you talking about the teens that were murdered and left on the train tracks so it looked like a suicide? Iirc there was a Lore Lodge episode on it, and evidence pointed to a corrupt local politician but nothing was done because Russia.

Personally, I think the sheer number of Siberian and Alaskan disappearances are simply because of wild country, wild animals and wild people. There's no reason to be civilised when the closest civilisation is a thousand kilometres away. And if you get got, the chances of someone tripping over whatever is left of you is vanishingly small.

Yes actually! I'll have to check that video out. Thanks.

Siberia is a good place to throw an entire person away, methinks. There are a lot of rumours about cannibalisation in those camps too.

It sounds like the exact place where people can just disappear. Especially at gulags, which IIRC, were common in Siberia.

I'd have to wait for someone with more knowledge on that to give commentary though.

Well, the area is super underdeveloped and after the Soviet Union fell, Russia was in such dire straights that literal bandit gangs popped up in some places during all the chaos and confusion. Siberia would be a perfect place to rob hapless victims and then dump their corpses.

I remember Russia had cannibalization going on as well. Based on the infamous historical pictures where people were selling the corpses of their children for meat.

So I imagine Siberia had the same issues.
