Phil somehow saying he wakes up at 8 or 8:30 am his time to shower & eat breakfast, yet somehow never starts his stream on time per his own schedule (11:15) is just another lie to put on the pile.

Either you take his word and it's another case of him LARPing as an adult as if he's busy when he's just swaying around in his gamer studio OR he's a lying sack of shit and rolls out of bed 5 minutes before he starts the slideshow & has to try to not look disheveled by the time he gets on camera (which he usually fails at btw).

Why lie about room temp though? Weird thing to lie about even for Phil. Best I can figure is he likes complaining and fabricates a reason for it sometimes. Never turning off his shit makes more sense.

For the same reason Joe Rogan brags about having ice baths and going to the sauna: it's his idea of overcoming adversity.
