If I were to play devil's (pigger's) advocate for a second here, you could argue he almost HAS to lie about a million things a day at this point. For da business! I mean what the fuck else is he going to babble about for 8 hours a day, six days a week, as a man who literally never leaves his house except to go grocery shopping or get his Hitler Youth haircut delivered by a Curls n Twirls employee who probably feels a deep sense of dread every time his oddly shaped head comes waddling into the shop?

He has to fill the dead air somehow, so I don't know, just try to convince a few fellow flatheads that he actually endures a lot for them because when he's sitting on his ass pushing buttons on a controller and waiting for money to appear magically in his PayPal account, because it's... a slightly above average room temperature or something. I dunno, what do you WANT him to say? The truth? That every day when he wakes up he realizes he has to do it all over again and contemplates eating a shotgun?

If he wasn't so autistic about the videos being a certain length I think he would cut even more out at this point.

The divine comedy of it all is - I think he'd actually be far happier if he had never made it on YouTube! It was the ultimate curl of the monkey's paw for him. In the short term, he got everything he thought he wanted - he was finally pahpular, he made loads of money very fast, he got the hot barely legal gitlfriend of his dreams. Everything was turning up Philly for a few years there.

But then, well, you know the rest.

I truly think if he had never made it on YouTube, he would have ultimately ended up in the middle management kind of job we all joke that he would actually be much better suited for, and he would also be far happier. He would look his age instead of twenty years older without the endless psychological stress he's under every single day, and he might have even managed to maintain his few real life male friendships like John Rambo to this day, which alone would have led to a much healthier Phil.

Mind you, he still would be an insufferable fuck, but there are plenty of those who manage to live normal lives among us.

Panda found herself in a situation where she had free rent and a roommate who would just avoid her, moving out was more expensive than pretending DSP didn't exist.

Her remaining with Phil for as long as she did even if she came to hate him was not as strange or unexpected at all.

I guarantee phil tried to come up with an arrangement before she left where she could stay in his house even though they were broken up as long as phil gets to pretend they're still together online. He basically has this same arrangement with kat now. He probably would've let Leanna move a new boyfriend in with her too as long as they kept it a secret and Phil got to still keep pretending they're together online.

Phil is not actually interested in women anyway and is actually gay so he really only wants the appearance of being with a women. Besides that he really only cares about being left alone to drink gin and play mobile games. Once the woman is stuck in his house with him he really doesnt care what she does beyond that.

Every time kat was on stream, even the most recent ones where they had lived together for at least 5 years, it was obvious these two people knew nothing about each other and werent at all interested in the other person.
