Probably not, it's really just a miniscule portion of the audience that can get their shit elsewhere instead of paying crunchyroll and Armz can't have that as it's another sign her career of choice is a zombie at this point. What is even the audience that she's targeting/"defending"? Sure, there are a lot of people watching anime, and there's definitely deaf viewers among them. But how many of those people refuse to read the standard, translated subs and instead want transcripts of the dubbed dialogue? Is there a "sub subtitles" vs "dub subtitles" debate going on among deaf weebs that I didn't know about?
Here's something funny.
Within the first 3 minutes he mentions youtube's captioning tool, and how it could be easier to use specifically in regards to positioning the text on screen underneath the speaker, and he's correct. Captions aren't the same as subs, however better captioning tools for youtube means less potential future freelance captioning work for Armz.
edit: Speaking of Armz...
Congratulations, you did your job. Whoopdeefuckingdoo. Now for Armz's PTSD about a friend in an MMO who just disappeared one day. So sad.
Remember if you're doing filmmaking to include the cost of Armz in your budgeting!
