Why won't anyone think of the poor captions?
How will these people survive without being able to get captions while watching dubbed episodes of Gundam Wing?

For only the price of $150 per hour of video, you can let Armz caption your media and make sure that the poor deaf people watching dubbed anime with shitty localization and no TL notes will be able to understand the background music that is playing on screen.
Or instead of paying for a shitty subscription service you could just watch this shit for free on Bandai's fucking youtube channel with English dubs or Japanese audio and then translations into a half dozen languages for subtitles, again for FREE including Wing, IBO, Seed, WFM, and various other gundam series as they rotate through them every few months, once again FOR FREE on the official gundaminfo gundam international youtube channel instead of whining to the FCC about how you can't read the text of the mechas fighting.
And to clarify just how ridiculous this is, that Gundam Info youtube channel has been doing this for years, including with shows that never got an English sub officially on any streaming service and even sometimes has entire manga series on there purely so more fans get more exposure for fucking free to the franchise so they can continue to sell more merch and kits. This isn't new. Some of the series like IBO are subbed in 12-15 languages even. And like I said they rotate through series every few months so in a month or two it could be G gundam, X, AGE, or whatever the fuck else.

I would like to retract my statement about Marzgurl writing Japanese like a toddler because that is an insult to the toddler. The toddler would at least know the correct stroke order so even if their writing isn't nice and neat, you can tell just by looking at it that they wrote the lines in the correct order which gives them a good foundation for them to have "adult" style writing later on. In fact, a toddler with correct stroke order/direction will fundamentally have neater writing than the toddler without.
And like English, there is a difference between computer text Japanese and written Japanese. Nobody writes "a" exactly as you see it (I'm talking about the a that has the hook at the top) unless you're being quirky or autistic. Even English has correct stroke order. Consider "b" - you start with the straight line up to down before the round part. Only crazy people start with the round part first.
The pic is Chinese but for the purposes of this discussion it can be treated as Japanese. It's also written with a brush so it has a more stylized calligraphy look but is still valid for the purposes of comparison.
First we have the hiragana あけおめ
I could nitpick but in comparison to Kanji, it's more simple and a bit harder to mess up so we'll just move on.
The first Kanji we have is 馬
Pictures speak a thousand words so I'll just let your eyes do the work. I'll have to say 2 things though. 1. it's missing the little fish hook at the bottom (it looks weird without it). 2. The top half "bookcase" is ironically too neat suggesting that she was looking at the computerized Kanji while she was copying it line by line (which she did),
Next we have 年
Computer Kanji neatly fit in a square box. But when writing them, you want to write them taller than they are wide. Which is funny because in my previous post, I joked that when Marzgurl draws herself, she should do the opposite and draw her wider than she is tall.
Normally I wouldn't be this autistic and nitpick over insignificant shit but Marzgurl:
1. Isn't 15 years old (but draws, writes and acts like one)
2. Like Chibi of AGDQ fame, her entire personality (outside of #KickVic) is about Japanese culture and liking Japanese stuff
3. She's a very dislikeable and insufferable asshole

She wrote the wrong kanji for horse. She used the normal 馬, but Japanese use different kanji when writing animal names in reference to the Chinese Zodiac vs. any other context. The Chinese Zodiac "horse" is written as 午. She should have written 午年 (umadoshi), which is an actual word.
The thing is though, as pathetic as cheebs is... he's still done more with his life in the past decade than Armz has in 20 years. Sure his glorious nippon career seems to have failed after a few months but at least he actually gave it an honest try unlike Armz who wants to act as if her closed captioning skill or some Japanese citizen will sweep her off her feet away from her beaner husband to live a life of luxury in Japan. Even Chibi's streaming career, from 2016-2026 now averages 25 viewers a stream, Armz for that same span averages 15.
Yes, she is so fucking pathetic and insufferable that outside of her kickvic bullshit, Cheebs has arguably done more with his life than she has her own.

As autistic, ungroomed and out of shape Chibi is, he has more of a chance of picking a Japanese girl up than for Marzgurl to pick a Jap guy. You know you failed in the dating market if Chibi (a cis male and all that it implies) has better chances than you (a female and all that implies).
Chibi has or had an actual job too so that's another win for him.

So Chibi had some bullshit job selling cellphones or something in the US before he moved to Japan, where he got himself a job for a few months selling... insurance or something? Fuck if I know. But that's him having a regular steady job before moving to Japan, where he already had a job lined up, and still did it for months before giving up and moving back to the US. Armz has a part time occasional gig doing professional captions(dying field) and will e-beg for youtube people to pay her stupid rates, meanwhile her husband doesn't have the same issues affording "his share of the rent"(they've been married 10 years and she still talks about him like this).
That alone is more than Armz has done in 20 fucking years.
From what I recall, yes he also gets along with his family. Armz hates her father because he's an evil maga conservative republican, really he just probably told her one too many times to shut the fuck up about politics at the dinner table during thanksgiving and she flew off the handle. I don't recall armz mentioning any siblings? Every few years one of her quarterly vacations will be a trip back to TX presumably to visit the family there that she claims to hate and disown for their evil right wing ways.
While Cheebs did show his ass crack on national TV in Japan, we've got plenty of footage of Armz wildly flailing around and undulating for a variety of reasons, while feeling the need to wear a cheap jacket with her name sewn onto it in public. Maybe cheebs has his name on his underwear or shirt tag, but he doesn't seem to feel the need to wear it on his chest.
Armz's cosplay usually involves whatever she can find at the thrift store that vaguely looks like whatever character she's trying to appear as. Her most "famous" cosplay is her literally in underwear with a fake fig leaf over her crotch(it's in this thread and comes up on google when you search for marzgurl cosplay). Meanwhile Cheebs has actually made some of his own costumes, including wigs, and done his own makeup for cosplay, Armz can't do her own makeup to go outside on a normal day without looking like a weirdo.
Chibi did a memorial funeral thing where he sung some songs for Satoru Iwata. His singing is awful, but Armz did a fucking 2 hour memorial video in which she sings for worse than Cheebs ever has, all for a known rapist that she REFUSES to take down.
Armz's last trip to Japan was funded by some friends of hers, she didn't pay her own way, and that's while Japan's economy is currently shit. As far as I'm aware Cheeb's trips to Japan were funded either by his parents or himself, which is still an improvement.
Yes, for everything that Chibinekodemyx has done over the years, Armz has managed to somehow do a worse version of it with the ONE exception of the phonecall to cheebs mother about him sending dick picks to minors... but again Armz supported and propped up a rapist and then made a 2 hour memorial movie for the rapist and refuses to take it down.
This is how fucking pathetic Armz is and I'm pretty sure she's been a lolcow for less time.

Without fully understanding the dynamics between Marzgurl and her beaner husband, I guess I might give a point to Marzgurl for being married to someone who is willing to tolerate her financial parasitism which she should be grateful for. Chibi is not married. In his defense, his ex-girlfriend (El Googly-Eyes) is still on good terms with him. Don't know if they fucked or not.
I do know that Chibi and his brother are still on good terms and his grandmother is providing Chibi with financial assistance on his recent return to the States.

The voice acting is cringe but nevertheless he is competent at playing the character. Although there is no music and the sound quality is bad, his singing competence still shines through, displaying his vocal range. Especially if you compare it to Marzgurl's singing which is monotone and just plain ear-inducingly bad. Here's a few samples:

Yes, she's tried to be a VA before. She actually managed to get onto some anime dub as a random character that says 2 words or whatever. But mostly it's been video game roles, one of which is actually a fairly well known game... that Last War mobile shit with the vertical scrolling guns that is only like that for an intro and then turns into a glorified farm sim game type thing. Anyway, she's got sample clips on her carrd page
Yes, all of her "voice acting" is just her normal speaking voice into a microphone just like her "singing". So while Armz has technically been a professional voice actor, Chibi has still done a better job doing the shit he has on his youtube channel.

If those 3 samples are representative of her skills as a voice actor, then give me a microphone, I'm a voice actor too. I'll still defer to Chibi who can do a more convincing "evil rich British villain" than me and I suspect, Marzgurl too.
Forget 馬年 (zodiac year of the horse), you have me convinced that 2026 is the year of Chibi.
I don't know if I'd go that far for the guy. Just because he's done better than Armz doesn't necessarily mean he's amazing, it just makes Armz that much more pathetic really. Plus if anything 2025 was his year, looking at his thread he's back home living with his brother or something, being miserable, has a flooded basement, kind of a shit show.

The crazy part is how they think the FCC is going to do something about this.
But since she's so "fluent" in Japanese that she can do translations... why the fuck is she complaining about it? Listen to the damn show in Japanese. It will actually help you improve your fluency.
She's not monotone. She's flat.
It's not as bad as Chris-chan as Armzy actually tries to hit the right notes but she can't. She simply doesn't have an ear for music. Or for not sounding like a complete tard.
Remember, she doesn't do translations purely captions. And not live captions, she does it with a script most of the time. All she fucking does is add the descriptive shit like "music playing" or maybe the name of a character speaking if it's not apparent due to camera angles. And this somehow takes her weeks at a time for a 12 episode anime series(because she admittedly slacks off). She doesn't even do the normal subtitles as a part of localization.

She'd go on and on about how she doesn't do translations, only captions as if that's a better thing. If you're not doing live with TV, court reporting, or some deaf phone service it's such low skill I don't know why anyone would pay for it more than min wage and demand it done in under a day per 4 hours of content.
Yeah, and that's what makes her entire "career" even more ridiculous. Youtube has been doing AI captions in English for ages, and even does a reasonable job of translation between some languages. You can also just upload the fucking script to your video, and youtube will use that and the audio to figure out how to time the captions so you don't even need to do that part yourself either or hire Armz at $150+ per hour of video to do it for you. Every aspect of the industry she's involved in wants her job automated and gone, because it means easier compliance for deaf people watching their shit without having to pay an idiot like her to do a braindead ass job like she does.
But if she could do translation, video editing, or basically anything the fuck else regarding supporting content creation on a platform like youtube she'd actually have more opportunity for work because there are plenty of youtube content creators who don't want to do that shit themselves and hire people regularly. Instead she's proud of being at the literal bottom of the barrel regarding commercial Anime localization for the US.
And yeah, as @mlanguishi said live transcription and captioning would also be a useful skill(still with fading demand) but she can't do that either.
